“Hace poco hice un pedido para un evento social familiar por un valor de $540 pero decidí pagar con mi tarjeta de crédito, obviamente me cobran el impuesto tax 6.625% de venta, sin embargo, tuvieron el descaro de cobrarme un 2.9% adicional por el uso de la tarjeta de crédito. Cuando les pregunté, me dijeron que había un cajero (ATM) automático que podía usar, por lo tanto si lo pagaría en efectivo y solo pagaría $ 540. “A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. We can visit the place multiple times and never get tired. #supportlocal“

“I can't give a full review because it was my 1st time visiting the establishment. I can give a review of what I ordered & of the person that served me. Everything looked & smelled good. The person who served me was kind & friendly. I had the picadillo with white rice, sweet plantains, a fried yuca fritter, & a side of beans. It all was very tasty, with the exception of the fritter. My only qualm was the pricing for what I ordered. It came to $29, including 2 bags of cheese doodles.Would I go back... Yes. Everything looked vibrant & fresh... I wanted to try EVERYTHING.“

As a vegetarian I got served a meal that had meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully fault them. I'm sure if I had ordered on my own they would have said something.

Vegetarian options: Not much for vegetarians and my rice ended up having meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully blame them“

“We were in NY for a couple of days, because our baby broke down, while they were doing the repairs the mechanics recommended this gem, excellent food, good atmosphere, friendly, helpful and cordial employees, we asked for a typical dish, they promised to make it up to date Next, we returned 2 days later and if they complied, they had the "Locrio de cerdo" dish. What a delight.The coffee has a strange taste, but it's not bad. The breads and croissants are delicious.The bathroom is small, but it allows you to freshen up ?The man in the kitchen is quite nice, and the lady at the front desk speaks very well, the site makes you feel comfortable. They let me stay for a while and it was great, because looking at a broken down truck is no fun.“

“This is a family favorite! Since the food is fresh and very cheap compare to today’s prices within other restaurants around the same area. It could be better flavored, but they have their own seasoning. My favorite dish would have to be the Mangu with eggs, cheese and salami for breakfast. Cannot for get their oatmeal drink& hot chocolate.

“Heard about this place online for their famous steak sandwich and decided to take the trip since it seemed relatively close to my neighborhood. Ended up taking a little longer than usual because its in a very population dense area with a lot of traffic and parking was brutal. I wouldn't say it located in the worst area but it's defiantly not a nice area, anyways on to the food. the restraint itself looks very old and beat up but who cares menu has 1 sandwich on it and it's cash only. Id recommend any foodie to come try this place at least once because its a food journey but the traffic and parking and cash only are enough of a hassle to keep me away unless I'm directly in the neighborhood, also try to eat it there because the trip home will take too long.“

I'm embarrassed to say him and I ate that cake (alone) in two days 😭. The service was very nice as well. It smelled like banging coffee in there lol. I need to try it next time. 10/10 I recommend ❤“

“The food is packed with flavor. The only reason I did not give five stars is because all three of our plates arrived with cold food. That is not true of the alcapurrias which were freshly done and hot straight from the fryer. The table service is a little lacking but that may be because it is set up as more of a take out. Overall I would return.“
