“First time there for myself. My wife had been there recently for lunch. OMG, amazing. We started with their homemade, warm Pita with Babaganush (sp?). Awesome. I had their Arugala salad, which I like wherever I go. This was amazing as well. Then we had our entrees. None of us could finish our meals, they were so plentiful and delicious. We each took home doggy bags. We told them we couldn’t possibly eat desserts so we ordered some to go. They then brought out hot Turkish teas for us AND a plate of a custard for us to share. Delicious!!! WOW! This place jumped right up near the top of our list for favorite restaurants. We will definitely be back.“

“Where do I even begin? The pita? Perfect texture and taste. The cherry tomatoes? Obviously fresh, juicy, and sourced from a great farm. The romain? Plentiful and CRISP. The Dill and Taziki sauce? Also VERY fresh, has a citrus kick somewhere, and seems to be made fresh as well. Because it doesn't taste like a store bought sauce filled with preservatives. The hummus? That might actually be where the citrus is from. However, the hummus is not overly salty! You can actually taste the Chickpeas and they use good ingredients as well as olive oil for the hummus too! The chicken? Is in NO way shape or form dry and it's actually seasoned! It's juicy and normal is it overcooked. The olives? Brothers and sisters I HATE olives by themselves, rarely on certain foods. But these olives are not overpowering and stealing the flavor profile, it just adds more depth to the flavor bomb of the Greek chicken Pita! The feta? What could be bettah? Seriously though if you can see this picture you should've seen that they don't skip on the feta either. Again the flavor is ALL the way there but not overpowering. While the texture is almost creamy. Probably with assistance from the sauce but still, it's not overly dry! 10/10 Would recommend & I will be back! Now the facility was spotless, the cleanest "fast food" I've ever seen. The staff? Phenomenonal, personable, kind, attentive to details, and downright superstars that make that place run like clockwork! Wooooo wo weeeee wo!!! If you haven't been here then you've got to go!! Moderate prices, exceptional ingredients, lovely staff, and clean facilities(where the staff actually care like the NW Expressway location in OKC). I'm out, ty for listening to my Ted talk! 🫡“

Esther the cashier greeted me with such a calm and welcoming smile reminded me what great Customer Service is supposed to look like. I also have visited the Bridgewater location and unfortunately, it has a lot of room for improvement. “We saw this stall on Pershing square and library way. Great food! Friendly gentleman working his magic on the blacktop. We got a chicken gyro and a combo gyro. Really good portions and the sauces were not overpowering, the red sauce is about half the heat of halal guys. Made to order. And there were benches to sit on a few yards away.“

“Ok so I kept seeing social media posts about fufu and egusi soup. I was told there was a good place on Forest Ave but it unfortunately closed. Lo and behold, this place is right next to my work. I saw some iffy reviews on this place and I was a little hesitant to try it.

I was wrong! This place is delicious! I am adventurous with food in general but never had African food. I have to say, I crave this now. I crave it often. The egusi soup with spicy chicken is so flavorful and unctuous. I’m all about food being balanced as I eat it, such as white rice with salty/saucy/flavorful foods. So this was a real treat because the pounded yam is the perfect clean slate carb to dip into the flavorful/spicy egusi soup.

Now if you don’t want spicy, you can tell the owner. She asks if you want it spicy or not. And when I say spicy it is, makes my mouth water and your jaw tighten when you smell it. Just the right amount of heat for me.

Also the owner is so hard working and sweet! Please support local businesses, they need our business! Whenever I eat out for lunch, this is at the top of my list!“

The baklava wasn’t too sweet but had a faint taste of coconut that im not used to, overall I would recommend this place! “I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and have always enjoyed the food here. Their green spicy sauce is outstanding, the portion sizes are generous, and the spicy chicken rice bowl has consistently been one of my favorite meals. I appreciate the quality protein and the value they provide.

Unfortunately, my experience today was disappointing. The chicken was noticeably saltier than usual, which affected the overall flavor of the meal. I know one of the longtime employees who has always been attentive to customer feedback, but he was not there today. Otherwise, I would have shared my concerns with him directly.

That said, this is the first time I have had an issue after many years of positive experiences. I am hopeful this was just an isolated incident and look forward to returning.“
