“There was a cover which we had no problem paying. However, before going in since it was within an hour of closing the kitchen I asked: is the kitchen still open? He stated yes because I advised we wanted drinks and food. We go in they take our orders and come back out saying they ran out of chicken so they closed the kitchen. So now no I don't want any drinks you can cancel those too. Otherwise fried chicken/shrimp is 10/10, drinks 7/10, mama sauce 10/10, and DJ 10/10.“

“The most special part of this restaurant is the service. Excellent service by our server, Donya. Very attentive, professional and friendly. We were there for a special anniversary. It’s a New York style steakhouse. Not stuffy though and a bit similar to STK. The atmosphere is excellent due to the brick and decor. The music is a bit loud for the atmosphere on a Sunday late afternoon. More appropriate for a late Saturday night. The salmon sashimi was tasty. The filet mignon was good but nothing special. Didn’t taste much truffle flavor in the truffle butter we ordered . Creamed spinach good but salty. Drinks are good and unique. Very fresh ingredients.“

“I always say to people that I bring here that they serve flavor bombs that explode in your mouth. This place is a true experience. Atmosphere and service are always top notch and the food never disappoints. They serve non-vegan and vegan items so it is a great place to go with a mixed dietary restriction group. “Food is delicious, greeting from the host station was non existent, server, Brian, was attentive and delivered hot food quickly.The pork chashu in the Tonkatsu ramen was not good (tough, off-putting flavor) despite having some of the best broth I've had.Vegetable gyoza were fantastic!Recommended.“

“Mighty crab is this new spot that opened by the mall and I love it prolly been here 4 times already and each time I come it’s amazing it’s really pretty inside feels like your under the sea with all the motion pictures in the wall the lighting is perfect and the service is so friendly I had Sandy about 3 out of the 4 times I’ve been here and she’s super sweet everytime food is great they even have a great lunch special on seafood boils yummmmm this is my spot forreal“

“I normally don’t write reviews but this place deserves a nod. To start, we were with some out of town friends who were impressed with the valet parking. Walking in, the staff were super friendly and seemed to enjoy what they do. We sat in their dining nook which is really private, feels like you have the place to yourself. I have always judged a place based on their scampi, and this is what lead me to write this review. Without question, the best plate, period. Annnnddd that’s even after I had to pick out the mushrooms!!?!!! The deserts were great, too.After dinner cocktails in a dimly lit parlor… ha! We’ll be back.“

“Really good food and atmosphere. Watch out for the automatic tip on the receipt. They didn't include it on Thursday but did on Friday. Usually I tip 20% but when places automatically add 18%, I don't tip extra when places auto tip. They also included a tip line even tho they added an auto tip lol, not falling for that trick.“

I had the “Hibiscus Lemonade” and “Year Five 2.0”. The first drink was great, but that second one “Chef’s Kiss”. But what made my experience grand was the customer service. “I just had the best experience at Q'tal! Our server was so attentive but also gave us space to talk and catch up. She was so kind and everything she recommended was delicious. I highly recommend the jackfruit croquettes and the sliders which I love that they have vegan options for someone like me. I'm not sure of the name it was a passionfruit cosmo type drink and I didn't even realize it came out with a dry ice bubble. 10/10 for presentation on everything and ambiance. They have a dining area which feels a little more formal ( the chairs were so comfy by the way) and then a bar area with high tops which I think would be great for a girls night. “Even though I'm a native Staten Islander, I never really go to eat on this side of the Island. This place is an old school style restaurant and I heard good things about it, so at 59 years old I visited there on September 16, 2023 with my wife and another couple for the first time. We all loved the food. The menu is so big it reminds me of a diner menu but classier and we all loved our entrees and appetizers. The young waitress we had was adorable, efficient, professional and attentive. In short, we will definitely be going back to Canlons and highly recommend it to our friends and family.“

“I eat at local steak houses Roots and Ruth Chris relatively frequently at least once per month, I wanted to switch up my experience so I searched best steakhouse in New Jersey and this came up. I had no clue how much of a treat I was in for, my father and I sat down for a 3 hour dinner that easily was one of the top meals I have ever had in my life. Sushi here is amazing, the Foxy and Lover Rolls are a must have. All meat products here are high quality and seasoned in a captivating way that will keep me coming back for more. Deserts are plentiful, more on the adventurous side but still amazing, all of their coffee options are also great. The mashed potato rings are a must have! Our waitress Cathy was outstanding in every way, very attentive, and overall a nice person. Everything else aside, and most importantly: the Feathered Fox is CONSISTENT! This establishment is a true hidden treasure. Compliments to the entire service team and chefs at the Feathered Fox.“

“The place is like a very large house. Funky decorations make for a pleasant atmosphere. We were promptly greeted as we entered and seated at a comfortable table for our party of 3. We ordered blue crab beignets for the table. These delicious little bites were a nice starter. A nice drink menu offered a bunch of different old fashioneds. We ordered brisket, fried chicken and fried catfish. All were exceptional as was the efficient, cheerful service. I don't rate 5 stars lightly, this place deserves it!“

“Visited Ho Brah for the first time. The food was tasty and the service was good. Not many patrons at 1:00pm on a Satuday. The portions were small and I felt expensive. Started out with the Chips and Guacamole and itvwas good. Had the Classic Cali Fish Taco and enjoyed it very much. Taco was very small so if your hungry be prepared to order two or three.“

I ordered a dirty martini which was great as well. For dinner we both had the steak frites, which was cooked exactly how we ordered it, and I am in love with the brandy peppercorn cream sauce. Dessert was the perfect ending. I enjoyed the vibe and music. We ordered a pizza to go for my child and it did not disappoint. “This is my 3rd time coming to Tommy’s. The vibe is amazing… friendly staff and really good food. Drinks are good as well. A bit pricey but nowadays what isn’t. I like Tommy’s because they have a wide variety of food choices such as pizzas, sushi, burgers, sandwiches, and poke bowls, pastas, and more. Def would recommend it if you’re in the area.“

“Just had the best experience with ladyfingers! I had a birthday party for my daughter and they provided a two tier cake and a coffee bar. Lauren was very responsive from start to finish. I was able to pick the flavors and filings for each tier off their long list of options. I didn’t have much time to look for a cake design so just sent over a photo of a cake that I quickly googled. They were able to create it, and even better, they added a customized cake topper with my daughter’s name. They also delivered it to the venue which was very important to me since I didn’t want to deal with picking up a big cake from a bakery and making sure it didn’t get ruined during an already busy day. At the party they provided us with a “coffee bar” serving up a variety of flavored hot and iced coffee & chai. The guests loved this! Many drove from far so a coffee option was exactly what the needed upon arrival. The onsite team was great, arrived early to setup, and went above and beyond by lending me a cake stand and having ice delivered for us when we were unable to get any because it happened to be sold out everywhere near by. Overall great experience and would highly recommend them!“
