“Wow! I was looking for a local byo and stumbled up St. Eve's. I was utterly impressed and so happily satisfied with this place. The hostess was gracious and accommodating, the service was great, and the food was beyond EXCELLENT! This place is hidden gem and I don't know how it was not packed and impossible to get a reservation! Presentation of the food was beautiful amd the chef even came out at the end to ask us how we enjoyed everything. My new fave spot. Go try it, you won't be disappointed: )“

It’s a BYBO, especially for brunch Ali and her mom do outstanding job of cooking and servicing their clients. The staff is respectful and always attentive. If you’re in Hohokus stop by Just Janice. “The service was excellent. I had ordered a cocktail that was too bitter and was able to exchange it for something else. The mushroom flatbread was slightly burned on the edges, but still tasty. The 6 oz filet mignon was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The turtle cheesecake dessert was very affordable, but the dessert container was awkward. Flavor was just okay. My dinner companions enjoyed their entrees. Prices were comparable to most fine dining restaurants. I did taste a featured wine which was a nice accompaniment to my meal. Overall, I would recommend Seasons 52 for a special event.“

“Village Green is our go to date night spot! The food is so delicious, everything on the menu is good, the chef is really spectacular. Our favourites are the short rib, pastas, and soups. The service is also great! I would highly recommend trying this restaurant to anyone.“

“Had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Food was excellent and the live music was great. They just so happened to play our wedding song which was perfect. My husband and I had the tuna tartar and scallops as an appetizer. The scallops were over this creamy sweet corn chowder with corn salsa and croutons - it was amazing and the best scallops I’ve ever had! Tuna tartar was delicious too. My husband had the pork chops with this mustard crust and eggplant sauce and I had veal milenase with an arugula salad on top. Both were really delicious meals. The veal was huge and definitely could have split that. Even though we were so full, we still managed to get the yummy Pineapple cake and hazelnut chocolate mousse for dessert.“

“My partner and I love ordering from here. We live in the neighborhood and it’s so convenient to have a place like this we can walk to for something delicious at a great price. I don’t think you could go wrong ordering anything off their menu; their pizza is the perfect Jersey pizza, their burritos are huge and taste SO fresh, and their cheeseburgers are like In N Out but WAY better quality. “The Yard House restaurant is a popular and well regarded American casual dining restaurant chain that's known for offering guests superbly made burgers, pizzas, salads and other delicious dishes. In July of 2025, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at the Yard House, specifically the branch located at the Palisades Center at West Nyack, New York and we very much enjoyed our dining experience. The staff warmly greeted us upon arrival and quickly provided us with a very large and comfortable dining table. Our server, Destiny D. was kind, welcoming and unquestionably professional. She did a great job on taking our menu orders, addressing our inquiries and always checked to make sure that we were having a great time. The Yard House is truly fortunate to have Destiny D as a member of their team. In addition to the great service, both my wife and I were in awe of the restaurant's energetic and vivacious atmosphere. We were impressed with its modern and stylish decor, and its display of multiple large television screens which feature live sports events and popular music programming. Guests also have access to a lively sports bar which features a vast collection of beers and cocktails. Last but certainly not least, my wife and I absolutely enjoyed our meal!!! We found our guacamole and chips appetizer tasty and delightful!!! I ordered and loved my burger based entree while my wife ordered and loved her whiskey glazed salmon entree. We found our meals to be perfectly cooked, superbly seasoned and highly delicious!!! All in all, we very much enjoyed our dining experience at the Yard House, and highly recommend for everyone to visit and dine at this great restaurant!!!“

“We dined at Robert’s for the first time. We were celebrating a relative’s birthday. The food was outrageous! The appetizers were amazing as were all of the entrees. I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. Despite that, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this fabulous restaurant.“

“We threw a drop-in Buffet dinner for family and friends at Houlihans for 30 to 35 people. The room is spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. Sebastian the manager as extremely gracious and helped ensure our guests were taken care of. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend..“

“A big, delicious mess. That is what I expect when I order BBQ style items off a menu and that's what I received! I stopped by for lunch and ordered the BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich. It was much larger than I expected and I did my best to finish it but did not fully succeed. The meat was overflowing and the sauce got everywhere.

The sides were decent. I loved the slaw but the fries could have used a little salt.

I am in town for a few more days and will definitely be back to try the ribs and some happy hour specials.“

My husband and I stumbled across this small grill diner hidden in the cut — and what a find! We stopped in for brunch and everything was spot on. He had the shrimp and grits, and I went with the meat lovers with egg whites. Both dishes were so good — seasoned just right and cooked perfectly. The food was delicious and the service was just as excellent. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy spot with quality food. 👌🏼“

“Stumbled upon this gem and haven't looked back, since before covid, during covid and to this day! My favorite pub, I recommend all, never disappoints! Love the ambiance, love all the wait staff especially Theresa, feels like a visit with a friend! We go all seasons but especially love the deck in warmer weather! GO, you won't regret it!“

“Hands down the best hole-in-the-wall restaurant I’ve ever been to! You walk into what feels like a cozy dive bar, but when you ask to sit in the dining room, they take you through the kitchen to the back—and wow, it’s like stepping into a hidden gem packed with memorabilia everywhere you look. I didn’t even know where to start taking it all in!

The owner personally went around to every table, greeting everyone and chatting with us about the history of the place—which alone deserves 10 stars. Every single dish we tried was absolutely fantastic. The baked clams were massive, and the garlic clams in that buttery garlic sauce? I could honestly drink it with a spoon. Then came the steaks—perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

To top it all off, the chef came out to greet everyone too and asked how everything was. It’s such a rare touch that made us feel like family, like we’d been regulars for years. And for the kids—there’s even a fun little scavenger hunt, which is such a cute idea!

If I could give Charlie Bloods 20 stars, I would. This place is full of heart, history, and seriously good food. Can’t wait to go back!“
