“Wow! Had an outstanding night at the Roxy and I think it’s been my best bite in JC.

Service was incredible, friendly, and attentive. We did go at an off peak time, so we got extra special service. However, I think at any time the service would be top notch.

The cocktails were excellent. Extremely balanced, delicious and amazingly seasonal.

The food was soooo good. I had the short rib special and I highly recommend it while it’s available. Absolutely delicious and the best short rib dish I’ve had.

“I honestly can't remember the last time I visited a restaurant and gave it a perfect 10 across the board, but this place truly deserves it. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. I needed the restroom right away, and the bartender, Orlando, kindly escorted me to it, making me feel so welcomed. Once we were seated, the food started arriving, and I was blown away. The chef here is absolutely amazing. Her dishes are not only delicious but also incredibly well-prepared. The unique flavor combinations and creativity are outstanding. It's honestly some of the best food and service I've had in a while. I left feeling like I spent my money very happily. I truly hope this hidden gem and the talented chef behind it get the recognition they deserve for their incredible work."“

“After two visits in the past six weeks, I have had a very consistent positive experience. The food is great. Cocktails tasty. I like their background sound track which appears as a mix of 80s new rock.

Had the sunflower linguini most recently- what a great marriage of flavor! Pesto based heavy on the garlic which I loved. We started with the whipped ricotta with flat bread- nice consistency and the thinly sliced grapes add a pleasant texture and taste.

Service was awesome. Very attentive- helpful with menu suggestions and prompt.

Overall this has been a nice find as I’ve only been to Jersey City twice. It’s right next door to White Eagle and a great opportunity to combine dinner with live music.“

“I celebrated my friend’s birthday at this cute hidden speakeasy bar in Jersey City. This candlelit lounge is dark and moody with art deco vibes.

The food was good, we ordered the Jerk Lamb Dumplings, Wagyu Sliders, Wings and Truffle Fries. We also had a couple of drink’s the Number Forty-one, Number Thirty-Four, and Number Thirty-six were strong, tasty, and had custom ice blocks.

My only reason for giving this bar a 4 star rating is the cocktails are expensive starting at $20.00 per drink?. The fact that Jersey City is charging NYC prices is ridiculous.

Overall, I definitely would recommend this speakeasy for girls night out + date night to grab one cocktail and take cute pictures.“

“Excellent restaurant, highly recommended. We were there on a Monday night and ordered rib eye, cheeseburger with fries, chesseak with fries and the food was wonderful. Nicolas and Dilson served us wonderfully, you don't need to be behind them because they are always looking out for you. The atmosphere of the place is incredible, its decoration is impeccable and at this Christmas time it smells exquisite.
