New American Restaurants in Jersey City, NJ

“I just wanted to give our waiter VINCENT !!! The biggest applause !!! Within the first few minutes on approach the expectations were defenitley met... Only downside of the experience was such a small menu usually people expect big plates. The portion sizes were honestly perfect to split between one other person if not just to have for yourself. My boyfriend and I had the Porter house 40oz cooked medium that was a Valentine's Day special and it came with this amazing Block of 1000 layer potato and it was probably one of the best french Frye ... I've ever had lol! They had an amazing wine selection for such a good price for being so close to the city !!! Most expensive bottle was probably $120 most of them average between 65 to 72$ . We also ordered the scallops. The oysters were a little bit warm upon arrival which was a disappointment because that's what was the main reason why we came there for but we were definitely enlightened to have our taste buds experienced to other varieties of the menu and the escargot which is an old Italian recipe which not many restaurants know how to make or prepare but the fried wontons we had absolutely delicious with the sauce they had at the bottom of the plate. It was like the perfect bean and nutty texture. Good job guys !“

“So excited I finally got to taste the chefs version of Kare Kare! All the flavors of traditional Kare with the flair of pasta!!! No wonder it’s there popular dish! The Mango Sticky (pan dan) rice had the tastes of being Filipino. Highly recommend!!! Took my Pa for Father’s Day and we had a great meal!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“The trendy upscale ambiance beckons potential diners from the hotel lobby to experience the culinary delights waiting within the restaurant. I dined at the Grille twice, and was pleasantly surprised both times. I highly recommend the salmon meal, which is beautifully plated and incredibly decadent! It was accompanied by grilled lime! My chicken meal was garnished with fresh herbs. I was thrilled to be able to have a large selection of fresh vegetables to go with my main course. The food and beverage manager A’Quanda H. managed the entire front end of the restaurant masterfully! She bartended and waited tables in a timely manner demonstrating constant courtesy and professionalism. I give the restaurant TWO THUMBS UP!“

“Food was really good. The Amish Chicken and Jerk Short ribs were delicious. Server was great. Kitchen seemed to get a bit backed up a peak time. That gave us an opportunity to taste their pull apart bread (whoa), which they brought out due to the wait.

“We had a wonderful dinner here. The food was fantastic—the garlic shrimp had the best flavor I've tasted in a long time, and the NY beefsteak was juicy and delicious. The chef's special pasta was also uniquely flavorful.
What made the experience stand out was the service. Our waitress, Jima, was incredibly attentive and even replaced our cutlery and napkins twice throughout the meal. The manager, Matthew, was also very friendly and took the time to tell us a bit about the restaurant.
I'm not usually a fan of hotel restaurants, but this place was truly beyond our expectations. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

“Amazing prime rib with incredible au jus! The risotto was a hit, and the calamari was tender and delicious. The spaghetti with shrimp was the only miss, and the chicken Parmesan could’ve been crisper. Still, with great service, solid drinks, and a lively vibe, it’s definitely worth a visit — reservations recommended!“

“I got the signature chai and also the pistachio and raspberry croissant. The croissant was FILLED with cream and it was delicious! Chai was strong and I asked for less sugar. I recommend regular sugar as their drinks are not too sweet. The croissant was more on the sweet side but v good! Pistachio flavor was very mild but the tart from raspberry added alot of flavor.

WiFi wasn't working when I was there but there is a lot of seating and the staff and friendly and nice. If you're in the area I highly recommend!“

“This place has been in business since 2001 and the owners are blessed ?? to still be up and running. I was 19 when I first ate from here and I am almost 40 years old. The owners have always been good people and they never hiked up the price to rob the community. This tray was considered small and it was priced at $11 and the drink was $2.50. To be able to enjoy a delicious meal for that price is a blessing ?? I was able to eat 3x out of this one tray! Meat tender mac and cheese cheesy it's flavorful as hell! Wishing this establishment many more years of serving and servicing the community!“

Employees are nice and courteous, but there's something slightly uncomfortable seeing them pull their masks up to their face only cuz you walked in - uncooked food is prepared feet away.“
