“Good food and better prices. The Boba tea was a little watered down but the Boba texture was perfect and it was a BIG tea for the price. The robatayaki was delicious, especially the chicken scallion skewers. My friends got the tonkatsu ramen and it was also delicious with HUGE portions.

Wheelchair accessibility: Large restaurant area could easily fit a wheelchair with space to maneuver fairly easily. No lip or step at the front door.“

“this is a great place to stop by if you are craving some ramen. there is a number of options to choose for, and for the price you get a decent serving size. bowls vary from 10-12$!! i was definitely satisfied by my meal. it’s not a long wait either! my order, #7 green chili was a bit salty for me but i still managed to finish my bowl. the noodles were plentiful and the right texture for me. i would come back and try a different flavor. i would recommend to stop by here whether it’s for cravings or after some grocery shopping!

“Stepping into Menya Sandaime felt like walking straight into a Japanese movie. The bamboo shade roofs and cozy setup gave it an authentic, almost transportive feel. Definitely a win for the ambience!

I ordered the Black Ramen, and it did not disappoint—rich, deep umami flavor that hit just right. The Veggie Shoyu Ramen, on the other hand, was just okay, nothing too special. One downside is that they don’t offer any vegan options, which feels like a miss in today’s food scene.

“I've been coming here for a while and just realized they added tons of new food items! My review is to rave about their newest noodle option, mei fun noodles! I've tried their udon before, but I'll definitely make the mei fun noodles my new favorite!!Got it with their tomato soup base and fish fillet, and it's addictive.Definitely give it a try if you're into Asian foods!“

“What a nice cozy place. We sat at the bar. It was great. Our bartender was so Attentive, btw. We had the same name. Jane was super friendly. We mostly got appetizers, they got a lot of selection. We got shishito pepper, pumpkin tempura, crispy squid legs, spicy wings, crispy rice spicy tuna and chicken teriyaki. They were so good. We loved everything we got. We will come back for ramen for sure.

“No ramen will ever be as good as ichiran ramen. The customisation, the noodles, garlic, spice. Everything is perfect. I like my ramen at 8 spice level with extra garlic, rich base and firm noodles.

“Sat at the ramen bar (there is a larger section with tables) and got the chicken paitan dx - huge and delicious meal. I don't normally like chicken cha shu but theirs is tender and flavorful. The noodles are thin and you get a whole, not half egg. The grilled chicken leg on the side is served sizzling with bean sprouts around it. It is tender and easy to pull apart. Fantastic meal and will def be back.“

“This is definitely an out of the ordinary ramen restaurant. To start with, you have a remote hostess ? then you are encouraged to order and pre-pay your food from your table. Fortunately, the restaurant was not full and the waiter had the consideration to take our order ?

The food was good ? I ordered a black mountain ramen, which had an earthy pleasant taste. We also ordered edamame, and gyozas ? everything was good

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

“Visited here while solo travelling in New York a few months ago. I ended up making this my local evening eatery. The food was flavourful, the pork melted in your mouth and the broth for the ramen was so creamy. The prices are decent and the staff were lovely. However they need to train their staff more because a few days ago I asked the waitress about the difference between tonkotsu's broth and miso's, it took her 5 seconds to think and only replied "The miso one has miso" without articulating how it tastes. Luckily the miso came out great and I enjoyed the meal. Will definitely come back!“

“I've literally been thinking about going back since my friend took me here a few weeks ago. Ramen was absolutely phenomenal. The broth was so rich and creamy. I got my soup spicy and it actually had a little kick. Plenty of meat in the ramen and their marinated eggs are delicious. I left stuffed. The price is decent too

“This ramen shop is a gem to the Greenpoint community. I am on my second visit, and have not been disappointed with the quality of the food. The chicken broth which is difficult to make has been carefully cooked, the noodles are not over cooked, and the combined ingredients to my Chicken pai tan ramen was enjoyable.

I do wish I had one more piece of chicken breast meat in my ramen because it was cooked perfectly. Yet another ingredient that is difficult to cook if not carefully monitored. Trust me I made alot of rubber chicken meals and still do.

“Came here for the first time for dinner the other day and loved it! Had to wait about 25 minutes which wasn't too bad and upon being seated it was very clear this was a family-friendly place. The one thing I noticed is that the music was a teensy bit loud but other than that the place felt cozy and roomy! We split a few apps - the chicken karaage, the brussel sprouts, and the pork gyoza which were all delicious! The ramen was also great - I went with the chicken katsu curry special which was perfect though I will say the base was a little oily for my liking. The chicken cutlets were well-seasoned and well-breaded! All in all, a great meal with friends.“

“We walked in and it was pretty vacant however, it was lunch time on a Monday so that wasn't much of a surprise. It had a large selection of noodles, if you walk in and see the wall you'll see all the various options and then some. It was a little ambiguous until we saw the kiosk. The food however, was amazing. We got the beef and the duck duck noodles. You do have to make your own noodles and the instructions are on the tray on how to do it. Would definitely try again!“

I had the double fried wings and sloppy joe bao bun for a starter and each dish was better than the last. the wings were super crispy yet tender inside and the sloppy joe bao buns were a trip down memory lane. the sloppy brought me back to my childhood eating at a friend's house. for my ramen I had the tonkatu. their pork broth was hearty and tasteful and reminded me of my first bowl of real ramen. “I love this place. They always have great and fresh food. My favorite has to be the vegetable ramen. It’s so delicious, their chicken wings are flavorful and guns texture is pretty good. I love their bubble tea as well. I order through Uber eats majority of the time, I wonder if I can directly order from this restaurant though. I think I’ll find that out. Today I ordered the matcha green tea bubble tea, usually I order the mango milk bubble tea. They must remember because Uber gave me a complimentary mango bubble tea.
