“6 points for atmosphere. The ramen was good, but the noodles were soft and soggy. The wild pear infusion teasine was subtle in flavor, and I found that captivating. The tea and teasine menu is comprehensive, and I'm looking forward to trying more.“

“From the way the amuse is served, it excites us foodies! It has been a long time since we have had such wonderfully cooked fish. The fire was perfectly cooked and the texture and sweetness of the fish were brought out spectacularly. The meat dishes also uniquely delighted us and did not fail us until the final dessert! The ambiance of the restaurant is also very dainty and wonderful, a perfect place to spend a special evening with your loved ones!Thank you so much!!“

“We had early reservations tonight and we were the first diners. When we walked in the waitress told us that we had to be done in 90 minutes. My wife and I are fairly quick eaters. But when I hear something like that it can suck the enjoyment out of the dining experience.Putting that aside, we had great appetizers and main dishes. The deserts were not on par with the previous two courses. We have eaten at Bloom several times since the summer time and had enjoyed it. I don’t think that we will be rushing back.“

“What a great Korean bbq restaurant. We were visiting the city and happy to find this restaurant. The quality of food was great and the service was amazing. Kevin was our server and we had a good conversation while they cooked the bbq for us. Would definitely recommend this place.“

“ONDO is incredible and I’d go there every night if I could! I’d say some of the best food in Jersey City. The Tofu salad is addicting-perfectly fried and paired with a gooey mandarin glaze that coats each bite perfectly. The Japchae with bulgogi hit every mark with tender and chewy noodles. The fried rice was a whole event that was video worthy. Delicious and fun.I’d make a reservation on weekends!“

“The best chicken wings!! The soy garlic wings was omg delicious. The boneless wings were amazingly tender and crispy. The only problem is that it gives me a good food coma Everytime after I eat those wings. Forbidden rice is really good, good valuefor only $2.50“

“I recently brought Don chicken's fried chicken to my friend's birthday party, and it was an absolute hit! The soy garlic chicken was incredibly crispy and bursting with flavor, earning praise from everyone at the gathering. This chicken is versatile enough to be enjoyed both as a meal and for catering events. Also, when I went to pick up the food, the store was clean and the staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating. It's clear that prioritizes cleanliness and customer service, making it the perfect choice for any occasion ! Highly recommend !“

“I normally write reviews for the readers, but today, this review is directed to the owner. Your fried chicken is worth the trouble of finding parking. I had the 10pc bloom drumsticks half w/Soy Garlic and the other half in S.O.S. Korean Spicy. I would even go as far as saying any of the sauces are worth a parking ticket. I was also super impressed with the size of the drumsticks! I was full after just 4, and thankfully, otherwise I would have been tempted to eat my napkin just to relish the flavor. I'm also grateful I arrived with family, since they ordered additional items, like the bloom wings, truffle fries, pork dumplings, and wasabi coleslaw. I got to try almost everything and nothing disappointed...not one thing. Thank you for offering to provide me my order as it became available for the members of my family vs. waiting for all of it to finish, that was very considerate of you and unexpected. I saw how polite you were to everyone that entered to order and for pick-up. We waited a little less than 25 minutes for the order to be complete and considering the size of our order, that was impressively fast! I just want to add that I also noticed you sacrificed your kitchen space to provide extra room for your guest, hats off to you sir! The seating space at the entrance is ample, the decor is trendy, the food was amazing, your attitude was great and even the bathroom was clean. The next time I come, I'm shooting a video for you, you deserve it...plus, I need an excuse to come back.“

“Greeted immediately upon entering even though they were full already. Server was respectful and grateful for the business. A+ customer service. We got our food to go and we got home approx 45 min later. Food was still warm, crispy, and juicy. Taste was phenomenal. Highly recommend this place.“

“A cute mom-and-pop roll house located in the main downtown area of Ridgefield Park. It is a true hidden gem for takeout and delivery! The owners here are very friendly and welcoming, offering heartfelt hospitality with every visit. With various roll options to choose from (my favorite/recommendation is Chloe roll, Volcano roll, Fire Fight roll, Dragon roll), they offer convenient service, and amazingly tasty beverages such as bubble tea & iced tea to enjoy with the food. Highly recommended for anyone looking to grab a quick bite or enjoy a fancy dinner :)“

“Hey, my keyboard can't type in Hangul, but anyeongasayo! My girlfriend got me an Uber Eats gift card for my birthday, and we'd already ordered takeout from here once. I'm a Korean adoptee with a white family and never got to try Korean cuisine growing up in New Jersey unless we went to a restaurant. The chicken was juicy and crispy, and the sweet and spicy sauce on the wings was outrageous. You have my business for as long as I can order food on apps. Thank you for letting me taste South Korea here on the East Coast. ????? 5/5Kid-friendliness: I wish I'd tried this growing up. I was in New Jersey. There were millions of Koreans here bumping to the music when I was a kid in the 2000s and 2010s. Thanks for the hard work, chefs. I'm recommending your business to my friends and family! ?❤️? “

“This is an amazing Korean stew place. They don’t have a huge menu but the pork stew is divine. The broth is some of the best I’ve had and food was fast and steaming hot.Parking: It’s in a weird spot, you need to keep your eye open for the entrance off Grand St.“

“This place is WONDERFUL. I came here with my son after spending the afternoon at Urban Air Adventure Park. We got two half box orders of boneless thighs (original crispy and soy garlic/sweet & spicy), fries, and water. The chicken took about 15-20 minutes to cook, but it was well worth the wait. My son (the pickiest eater in the world) LOVED the boneless thighs, and even the French fries. I thought everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The flavors were all fantastic, with the soy garlic being my favorite. The fries were also some of the best fries I've ever had. Super crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The food also came with Cole slaw which was DELICIOUS, and I say this as someone who normally strays away from Cole slaw.Customer service was excellent. The woman at the front was very friendly and clear with describing the food. Their presentation was top notch also. The food was packaged beautifully and even the bag it came in was just really well designed. It was like opening a holiday gift of delicious food. I would highly recommend paying this place a visit, although you'll probably have to do take out since they have limited seating. That's probably the only downside I can think of, but they still deserve 5 stars overall“

“I believe Itto Sushi is the best kept (sushi) secret in Jersey City and it's our go-to place for a delicious sushi night. Our favorite rolls on the menu are the Kamikaze, Burning Down House, Dragon, and Playboy. They never disappoint. It's BYOB and the service is also excellent.“

“Staff is super friendly and attentive. First time, and they treated us like we've been coming here for years. Rolls are delicious! Above par. Ramen hit the spot on a cold day but certainly not the best in the area. Ani Ramen still retains that title. However, if you're looking for great service, a solid asian fusion selection, and tasty rolls, it's hard to go wrong here. ? They even have some Korean dishes like bulgogi and bibimbap. Overall, happy customer. ?“

“The best pork cutlet restaurant. The best pork cutlet on the outside. I tried all of New Jersey looking for delicious pork cutlet. This is the best. I highly recommend it.Mulnaengmyeon is said to be a bit salty because it is made from pocha, but it was a bit salty to eat as food, so it was just that. The noodles were chewy and the soup had a thin ice.The boiled pork is perfectly moist and delicious. Highly recommended. The water ribs were truly disappointing. It was $45 for a small dish, but it felt like I was eating $45 bean sprouts. All I got were 10 pieces of marbled beef that looked like they were piled high on top.Inside is literally just a mountain of bean sprouts and nothing to eat. There are almost no other vegetables.Humanly speaking, that price is a waste of money. $45 is a rip-off.Still, I will go back to eat the pork cutlet stew.“

“This is my go to (and my son’s) all the time. My absolute favorite are the shrimp buns. My son gets the shrimp buns and the beef bulgogi is his main course. I sometime splurge and get the 3+2 garlic and soy sauce flavored wings and drumsticks. What I love is both freshness, taste and consistency. It’s a husband and wife small business so also love being able to help our local economy. It sure helps they’re so pleasant. Their prices and portions are above average compared to similar businesses. Definitely recommend. I wish they had longer hours!!!“
“Best Kimchi I've ever had. They have so much to choose from other than kimchi as well. Everything I've ever tried there has made me want to go back and get more. Dont forget to grab a tea with pearls and jelly. Wish opening no. 2 in north bergen.“

“I absolutely love this place. I have a very bad case of long covid since October 2021 where almost everything smells and tastes rotten or sickly sweet. I am able to eat the hot pot miso ramen soup with a lot of different vegetables, and I can have the chocolate cake/cupcakes. So delicious! I can also eat the white rice and the grilled pineapples. Before finding out that I can have all of this, I was losing a massive amount of weight, thank God for the few things that I can have here, I’m able to maintain my weight now. I just tend to go a bit crazy with what I can eat because I’m so hungry from not really eating the other days. The workers are amazing. The manager, Justin is really nice and very funny. The owner Darin is also very nice. Love the atmosphere and the music, I still can’t eat the other things and the smells from the other foods still bother me but I deal with it just so I can eat what I’m actually enjoying there. Thanks kpot for being the first restaurant where I’m actually eating some things that I can enjoy. I celebrated my birthday there today, also amazing. Highly recommend this place, especially this location. Twenty stars“

He cooks a wide variety of cuisines and is creative about accommodating any dietary restriction. He has a real passion for food that comes through in every dish. Always delicious and great service. Not to mention his line of hot sauces! Try the yuzu truffle, you can’t get anything like it!“

“This restaurant is a hidden gem in Nutley. Always fresh food and great meals. It is a small restaurant but they will accommodate to your needs. A calm quiet atmosphere, delicious Japanese and Korean dishes such as bulgogi, ribs and chicken, sushi, sashimi and my favorite bibimbap. I have tried so many dishes and it does not disappoint. The staff is so helpful and kind, I have ordered delivery too and it was just as good.Support small business!Dietary restrictions: They do have vegetarian and vegan options. They do have rolls with no rice and they will try to accommodate to your dietary needs.Kid-friendliness: Their menu is kid friendly from the fried chicken tenders Korean style, chicken katsu and ramen noodles. The portions may be big for a toddler but you can always take left overs. They don’t have changing table in their bathroom but, it is big enough to accommodate a changing pad and get it done, they do provide high chairs and space for a stroller.“

“Absolutely the best Korean food I've had in North Jersey. Bibimbap, Japchae, are great. Great service and owners. I recommend to stop allowing BYOB. Sometimes there will be groups of rowdy/poorly-mannered guests who will get really drunk and scream for hours, ruining the atmosphere for others guests, and occupying tables for an inconsiderate amount of time.“
“I tried the half and half of wings. I got soy garlic and the korean yangnyum sauce and took it home. It was still so crispy and a lot better than i thought it would be. It didn't reheat all that well thoughThis is located inside the hmart food court.“

“Dumplings, noodles, soups, rice cakes, acorn jellies, and more. Might as well be in Korea. Signage is in Korean, but don’t worry, menu has English. And they ask about spice tolerance. “Bunsik is like a Korean diner. After a long day at a conference we were looking for something warm, filling, and tasty. Mom suggested we give this a try. We ordered shrimp fried rice, fried fish platter, and kimchi fried rice with ham and eggs and ribs. The shrimp fried rice was a smidge bland but soy sauce fixed that. Everything tasted freshly prepared. The fish and their version of tartar sauce was perfectly fried and tasty. Great crunch. My kimchi was a smidge spicey but not unbearable and it was good eating. We had leftovers. I normally make my own kimchi casserole but I'd happily eat Bunsik's! Service was ok. It got better as the meal went on.“

“Stumbled upon this place on the way out of Nutley. Saw a sign that says Korean bbq, and that was the seller for me. A bit dark inside. The wait staff or I guess the owner is very attentive. Food is reasonable priced and good. If you're craving Korean food I suggest you try this place.“

“ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. My wife and I came here for a quick lunch. Although inside was not busy it felt very comfortable to eat in. We came during lunch hour when prices are at a discountI ordered the beef with rice lunch special and THE TASTE WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. By far my fav. Only minimal comment I can make is that I wish my dish came in the same fancy stone bowl my wife got with her Teriyaki chicken over rice. Mine came in a long brown takeout box.As mentioned my wife got the teriyaki chicken over rice and 10/10 the flavor was delicious as were the vegetables. We also ordered chicken katsu Bao buns and Pork Bao Buns. Chicken was very tasty, but when I unwrapped my pork Bao bun it almost looked like we received the beef Bao bun as the cut of meat on the bun looked exactly like the beef I had with my lunch special dish. I imagined the pork being a crispy pork belly piece. All in all this place was very good and I plan to come back again. I am looking forward to ordering the pork Bao bun again to see if the meat is supposed to look like the beef or if it’s an actual crispy pork belly piece(s).“
“I am IN LOVE with this place! Some of my classmates go there frequently and so do I. It's a great place to chill, order food, and AMAZING boba!!! “I ordered a large catering order from Kimchi guys for a company meeting, and it was INCREDIBLE! David Lee, the owner, was super accommodating and helped me order an appropriate amount for ~70 people for a "sampler plate" of everything on a Friday afternoon, talking me through all my options and helping me select the right foods.1. Food was absolutely phenomenal, and so many employees gave raving compliments. We ordered vegetable mandu & beef mandu, Tteokbokki with Gochujang, and Kimchi - and it was all delicious. The mandu were flavorful and didn't even require a dipping sauce like so many dumplings, the Tteokbokki was spicy and chewy, and the kimchi was crunchy and amazing (their kimchi is made with Fish sauce). David (the owner) even made one order of the Tteokbokki vegan for us (without the fish cakes and cheese) without charge!2. David was able to accommodate my last-minute order (ordered the Friday before, the event was the following Wednesday) and delivered exactly at the requested time (delivery to Chelsea in Manhattan at 3:30 PM). He texted and kept me updated, and the food was delivered hot and cleanly packaged. He made sure to tell me which items were which too so they could be labeled for allergens.3. We had tons of leftovers and I put them out today (Thursday) for employees to take, and everything was just as tasty the next day. We immediately had a bunch of people lining up to get more once I made the announcement! All in all, this was a delicious choice and the only negative is that it isn't located closer to me! 11/10 would recommend(See some next-day photos of the amazing leftovers! Pictured is the Beef Mandu, Tteokbokki, and Kimchi)Vegetarian options: They were able to make some items vegetarian for me without issues, and they have many veggie options like fried rice and dumplings as well1“
