“First time there for myself. My wife had been there recently for lunch. OMG, amazing. We started with their homemade, warm Pita with Babaganush (sp?). Awesome. I had their Arugala salad, which I like wherever I go. This was amazing as well. Then we had our entrees. None of us could finish our meals, they were so plentiful and delicious. We each took home doggy bags. We told them we couldn’t possibly eat desserts so we ordered some to go. They then brought out hot Turkish teas for us AND a plate of a custard for us to share. Delicious!!! WOW! This place jumped right up near the top of our list for favorite restaurants. We will definitely be back.“

That might actually be where the citrus is from. However, the hummus is not overly salty! You can actually taste the Chickpeas and they use good ingredients as well as olive oil for the hummus too! The chicken? Is in NO way shape or form dry and it's actually seasoned! It's juicy and normal is it overcooked. The olives? Brothers and sisters I HATE olives by themselves, rarely on certain foods. But these olives are not overpowering and stealing the flavor profile, it just adds more depth to the flavor bomb of the Greek chicken Pita! The feta? What could be bettah? Seriously though if you can see this picture you should've seen that they don't skip on the feta either. Again the flavor is ALL the way there but not overpowering. While the texture is almost creamy. Probably with assistance from the sauce but still, it's not overly dry! 10/10 Would recommend & I will be back! Now the facility was spotless, the cleanest "fast food" I've ever seen. The staff? Phenomenonal, personable, kind, attentive to details, and downright superstars that make that place run like clockwork! Wooooo wo weeeee wo!!! If you haven't been here then you've got to go!! “Ok so I kept seeing social media posts about fufu and egusi soup. I was told there was a good place on Forest Ave but it unfortunately closed. Lo and behold, this place is right next to my work. I saw some iffy reviews on this place and I was a little hesitant to try it.

I was wrong! This place is delicious! I am adventurous with food in general but never had African food. I have to say, I crave this now. I crave it often. The egusi soup with spicy chicken is so flavorful and unctuous. I’m all about food being balanced as I eat it, such as white rice with salty/saucy/flavorful foods. So this was a real treat because the pounded yam is the perfect clean slate carb to dip into the flavorful/spicy egusi soup.

Now if you don’t want spicy, you can tell the owner. She asks if you want it spicy or not. And when I say spicy it is, makes my mouth water and your jaw tighten when you smell it. Just the right amount of heat for me.

Also the owner is so hard working and sweet! Please support local businesses, they need our business! Whenever I eat out for lunch, this is at the top of my list!“

The baklava wasn’t too sweet but had a faint taste of coconut that im not used to, overall I would recommend this place! The customer service was nice and the restaurant is clean and filled with beautiful art!“
