“I love this place! The drinks start off sweet, but they note that on their menu by asking what level of ADDITIONAL sweetness you want. I usually choose 0% additional sweetness and it's perfect. The owner is really friendly and accommodating.The ambience is classy and clean; and they actually have a good amount of tables while still feeling spacious. It's not super crowded with minimal working space like Akihi. (I spent the day here at BTT working on an essay.) There's only one outlet, but another customer was nice enough to offer to trade seats with me so I got to use it to charge my laptop. I guess that's the only feedback I have — to have extension cords so more people can use the outlets? I brought my own just in case. “This place opened after the poke place closed and I'm honestly so glad for it. I no longer need to drive out to Hylan to get Vietnamese food!The staff are amazingly friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and decently sized for the prices, which are pretty good compared to other locations on the island. It's a small shop and most people seem to take out rather than sit in. They also offer rice bowls and bubble tea in addition to noodles and sandwiches!The pho is a bit of a southern style, so it comes with herbs to assemble in your bowl. The beef was a bit tough, but it was probably to avoid people saying it was raw, which is the more traditional way to serve. The chicken pho is also good and made a pretty staying breakfast. The noodles are also decently springy and the broth is always hot.Overall, I hope they do well and I will probably be back some time to satisfy my cravings.“
“Drinks are always on point. Unless they're having a bad day then that's when the drinks are a bit off, which is rarely honestly. The place gets packed and very crowded during the weekend but that just means this place is that good. If ur looking for a quite boba shop... this is not the place. It's basically where all the youngsters come to hang and it's the go to Boba shop that closes midnight. Just brilliant honestly! Workers and their service are always great. Drinks and food comes out fast despite the long line. I come here 2 to 3x a week (weekend is a must cause BOBA IS LIFE lol) and I personally never had an issue here. “I selfishly want to keep this place a little secret, but I know it's not right to do and so I must share my thoughts and quick review so that you may enjoy it too. My go-to coffee is usually black and nothing else. Instead I opted to try their "Hot Chai latte"and a choice of oat milk, half/half and milk and other options. I went with the half/half and It was absolutely delicious. Groundwork's Cafe is just the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself with their many food and drink options. The energy and vibe is exactly what I like to surround myself in. The cafe is extremely clean all around!!!! The staff members are beyond friendly and welcoming. There's off street meter parking and town meter parking lots within a short walking distance. What I ordered: Hot chai latte Chicken Colombian empanadas A small cup of Tomato Soup I LOVED IT ALL! My NEW FAVORITE PLACE and I'm looking forward to going back.“
“My daughter ordered from Millburn Poke Bowl today for delivery. The food arrived quickly. I had the sushi burrito....what great value for the money. The presentation is attractive; the burrito was packed in a lidded box that almost looked like a gift. It was packed full of vegetables and rice with very generous amounts of spicy and ahi tuna. They added just the right amount of dressing/sauce. I ate half for lunch and half for dinner. I would highly recommend Millburn Poke Bowl if you want delicious, fresh ingredients and a very generous amount of them.“

The restaurant is very clean and organized as it is a new restaurant in Newark. The food is fresh and delicious. My favorite in particular there is the walnut shrimp, a creamy sauce covered over delicious shrimp. I’m generally not a fan of bubble tea but this place has changed my mind with the awesome Crème Brûlée Boba Tea! Great place to eat!“
“Reminded me of boiling point in CA! Ordered the stinky tofu hot pot! It was good but wish it was more sticky and had more pieces of stinky tofu! My friend ordered the spicy beef one and it was good and not too spicy so we could drink the soup. The portion is big enough. Some of us couldn’t finish everything in the pot because they were full already. The restaurant is spacious and was able to accommodate us (party of 9) on the same table.“
“Absolutely one of the best restaurants we've tried in some time. first time having Taiwanese food. very simple with some amazing flavors. we ordered the Crab/Pork soup dumplings as soon as we sat down. simply the best I've had. the Cucumber salad with hot chili oil, fantastic !!! Popcorn Chicken was the first chicken of its kind that didn't need a sauce. the meat was crispy and moist and held its own without a sauce. Taiwanese sausage was served with sliced garlic. simple a delicious !!!! we also had the fried pork soup dumplings which were incredible !!!! Can't wait to go back and try their entrees. Lucky for us Sakai was just right around the corner from us and we happily dropped on in. They had lunch specials which included your ramen with soup broth of choice plus a side and a drink. I went with the spicy tonkatsu with gyoza as my side and boy it did not disappoint. The broth was perfectly flavored and had a nice kick, a perfect balance of spice and pork taste. While I enjoy both places, this one definitely won on portion, which was my main complaint about the other one (too small). A very nice surprise!Order at the counter or on their self-order screen. Was the only one dining-in, although they were doing a decent pick-up business.I ordered the spicy bowl and it was excellent. My medium hot taro with black pearls came out to about $6.xx. My sis-in-law's medium passion green tea with coconut jelly was also around $6.xx.I recommend getting zero sugar with any taro drink or anything with pearls or jelly as they are already sweet as is unless you just love sugary drinks.“

“Quite small but great food and relatively inexpensive. $10-20 per person if you just get noodles, but can be more depending on how many side dishes you get. Service is pretty quick as well. I recommend the 小椒牛卷饼, as well as the Fresh Seaweed side dish. Spicy food (one chili pepper) is generally on the spicier side, rather than more mild, but can be requested to be not spicy if you wish.“
“EDIT:i’m very impressed by how this store listens to feedback. every single point I’ve listed on this review has changed. Here’s what I’ve noticed!- They’ve introduced a Buy One Get One Free happy hour for people to save money, and I would say it’s at the most convenient hour. I don’t think they are currently doing this promotion but it went on for months! They also have a student discount, cash back service connected to your phone number, and they have new stamp cards to get 1 free drink for every 10 drinks bought!- Every time I come here, there’s a tray of samples! Listening to feedback is clearly a strong suit with this store and I have a lot of appreciation for the management & employees here. The samples are different every time I come here which is very nice.- They’ve opened up their hours more, some days until 7 pm. This has made it a lot easier to come here and I really appreciate their flexibility!- They haven’t been out of stock with brown sugar boba in a very long time, so they definitely changed their inventory and restock. I appreciate this a lot as I know it may deter from their profit, but it definitely makes them more money to have this ingredient available !ORIGINAL REVIEW:I love this place. But they recently added a cash back system which I appreciate!- Menu is so so big which can be great, but it’s so overwhelming. I wish there were at least descriptions online, or samples!- Hours & Availability are limited. It’s hard to get there by 6 before it closes when most people get off work at 5 if they have a normal job.- Lastly, at least 40% of the time I go, they are out of boba. For a tea place, I feel like it’s supposed to be a staple of the store. There's a LOT of brown sugar on the bottom of the cup if you order that boba or any boba with any added sugar or flavor, so make sure to mix well or you'll be getting a lot of that flavor at the bottom and it won't taste good! “A small little boba shop that I happened upon on a craving, and I can safely say this scratched the itch for good boba. I'm usually pretty picky about flavor powders and how at a lot of places they don't dissolve properly but for at least the taro and strawberry drinks I tried, the flavor was very well mixed. I think the popping boba was a little mild on the flavor, but that's a minor thing. +1 for the cool canned presentation too!“

Finding street parking or one of the limited lot spaces is a nightmare downtown, but inside the shop is very new and clean and laid out well.The menu was typical with multiple tea flavors and jellies to choose from, as well as the ability to customize the amount of ice and sugar in your drink. I came on a Saturday afternoon and my drink was ready in under 2 minutes which was very quick.The bubble tea (no milk) after tax came to a little over $5 which is significantly cheaper than NYC stores.“

This came with different fillings: Pork with Scallion, Chicken with Corn, and Beef with Onion and you can have them steamed or fried. I super recommend getting their add-on of Spicy Minced Pork Chili Oil which really elevates this dish. --Jasmine Boba Tea (customized for my request of zero ice, zero sugar) - pretty good, but the boba was kinda hard. --Crab and Pork Soup Dumplings - Pretty good. These are very likely much better eaten in the restaurant. In general, the filling was slightly too dense and the wrapper was a little too thick compared to the same dish I've had elsewhere. --Bao Chicken - A family fave. This came with 3 pieces of broccoli and was heavy on the chicken which had a light coating and yummy sauce. The portion lasted my kids several meals. With food this good, this spot can take a bao. ;)“
