“Went to Sappe NYC for dinner and honestly loved it. The food was so good. We tried a few different dishes and everything had so much flavor without feeling heavy. The pad thai and curry were standouts for me, and the drinks were great too.
Patt was our server and she made the whole experience even better. She was super kind, patient with our questions, and gave really solid recommendations. She checked on us just enough and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering.
Overall just a really fun dinner. I’ll definitely be back.“

“I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries and a side of barbecue beans. It was all delicious. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was just the right portion and extremely tasty. This is just far enough outside of Times Square that it doesn’t seem to be overly crowded with tourists so eating dinner here is manageable.“
“This is my first time here all the way from Newtown, Connecticut, and it Definitely did not disappoint. The atmosphere, the food, and of course, the wonderful service. Aymaan Was our server, and I’ve eaten at many restaurants and this is by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. He was on top of everything, and treated us with tons of respect. “If you are like me and have not had delicious barbecue for a long time, you will probably find it quite good. It feels like a Cantonese barbecue flavor. The pork is a salty barbecued pork, and the king of kings is also a little salty. Others I ordered include beef, mutton, gluten, and chicken hearts, which were both good! I love charcoal grilling + fresh grilling. Remember to bring cash!“

Its an outside food cart with limited street seating, but these guys were open at 10pm when it was 27° the other night and they still had a line of people. Absolutely worth every cent.
The lamb was odee slamming, the beef was great. They're all good really, but my fave was the fish balls with the spicy seasoning. Give it a try!“

“Small place ran by a lovely couple with all the signature classic Romanian dishes! This place is a complete hidden gem! The eggplant salad starter is just like my grandmother and mother make, the meats are excellent - portion sizes are huge and everything tastes like a solid Romanian place on my visits to Romania. The star today was the Papanasi - a classic Romanian cheese donut! One of the best I had ever! Highly recommended! Will definitely come again!“

“I recently stopped by Hudson Smokehouse in the Bronx and ordered the brisket, turkey, mac & cheese, and baked beans.
The brisket was the standout: tender, properly smoked, and sliced thick enough to hold its structure without drying out. It had a deep, smoky flavor without being overpowered by sauce. The smoked turkey was equally impressive—juicy, well-seasoned, and a great lighter counterpoint to the brisket.
On the sides, the mac & cheese was rich and comforting with a solid balance of creaminess and bite, while the baked beans had good depth—slightly sweet, slightly savory, and clearly simmered with care rather than treated as an afterthought.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere felt casual and unpretentious—exactly what you want when the focus is on the food. If you’re looking for reliable, well-executed barbecue in the Bronx, Hudson Smokehouse is absolutely worth a visit.“

“I’m something of a BBQ critic having grown up in the South and lived there for 40 or so years and I’ve had some bad pork experiences in NYC. So much so that I’ve told my friends, “NYC does every type of cuisine well EXCEPT BBQ” I respectfully retract that statement after having AU Jus’ SUPERB pulled pork sandwich this evening. I’m going to have to join a 12 step program to stop myself from eating it every day. So good it’ll make your tongue slap your brains out.“

“Mother and daughter day trip to the area. We took a chance and decided to try The Pitt for a late lunch. Wonderful and surprising exoerience. Small place with a big heart!
The gentleman there was obviously a neighborhood treasure. Customer after customer came in and engaged in short but thoughtful banter. He was friendly and made us feel welcomed.
The food was very good! The service was kind, thoughtful and genuine. The atmosphere was warm and homey. Definitely more of a take out or dine and go quick spot with limited seating.
We had the pulled pork sandwich and brisket on a biscuit. You pay for the sides. Coleslaw was included. We got chocolate chip cookies to share. Pricey but delish!
Parking was free and right in front. I have a feeling that parking may vary at different times of day.“

“Came with my boyfriend whos been here multiple times and said it was delicious, and he wasn’t wrong. We got chicken, squid, chinese sausage, ricecake, shrimp, and beef skewers that were ALL amazing. HIGHLY recommend the spicy powder on any skewer you order. I have low tolerance for spice, but it was just a small kick for a couple seconds. I will be coming here way more often, I found my favorite food spot for late night snacks.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Came to KPOT BBQ for the food and left raving about the entire experience. The food was great, fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you walk into a place like this. But somehow the service was even better. Shoutout to Stella, our server, who absolutely made the night. Attentive, friendly, funny, and on top of everything without ever hovering. She handled our table like a pro and cooked some of our food for us too! , even while I was clearly having the time of my life and probably making a bit of a spectacle of myself. Stella, if you’re reading this, thank you for making an already great meal unforgettable. And if by some chance you felt the same good vibes, feel free to reach out. “We were driving from Baltimore to Richmond and specifically stopped to check out Honey Pig's new location. Wow what a great restaurant! Smells amazing when you walk in the door and the servers are beyond professional, friendly, and helpful. We ordered the bibimbap because we weren't quite hungry enough for AYCE. The BBQ at the table around us looked great though and next time would have planned to be hungrier for AYCE. Great food with good size portions. Wish we lived closer so we could go again and again but we will look forward to the next time we are nearby!“
