Especially Brooks, who went above & beyond helping us try decide what to order. I'm not kidding when I say everything looked so good. He kindly gave different suggestions. He took time to explain different options, what they were and how they were made. Any questions or requests we had were met with nothing but kind responses. Will definitely be back!“

“I eat here every week with a big group and the food is always delicious. I like to order the chili nachos, and it's perfect for sharing. They are also very accommodating with allergies and have promptly answered questions about allergy content. The servers are very friendly and it's always very lively. Even outside of my group I like to take friends here. Parking is a bit tricky but it's worth it even if you have to park on the side of the road. Highly recommend!“

Seafood Linguine in Garlic Sauce, steamed clams, mussels, grilled salmon, and lobster tails with crabmeat stuffing (seasonal). If you don't see something on the menu that piques your interest, just ask your server if they can prepare it for you. “This is a local favorite we've eaten from in the recent past. I ordered the salmon. It was a disappointment because it was over cooked and dry even though I liked the flavor. I did enjoy the potatoes and asparagus. We'll go back but try something else.“

With an assorted buffet menu and a live band, our members had a memorable evening in the private room of Tavern 73. The cash bar was very busy, and people raved about the food as they left this 4-hour event. Special thanks to Kaya and Gail for the excellent job they did to help to organize and execute this event. “Terrific and nostalgic fare. Got Turkey club for my meal with their delicious French fries. The sandwich was good enough to conquer my hunger and I only ate half. Took home the leftovers. My husband had the classic burger with French fries and it was huge and cooked to perfection. He said it was juicy and full of flavor with all the toppings. We both liked that the French fries came in a metal cup container because it kept the temperature longer which allowed us to eat them warm. I chose the green tea iced tea and thought it was perfectly not too sweet. Hubby got plain iced tea and it was unsweetened and terrific too. Prices are comparable to the area with tip just under $60.“

“I haven’t been to The Barn since my kids were young, but we visited Abma’s farm today for the hayride with my daughter and granddaughter and stopped at The Barn for dinner after. What a delight! The staff were so welcoming and child-friendly. I have never been anywhere as child-friendly in Bergen County. Their outside seating area is perfect for families with young children in tow. “We dined at Robert’s for the first time. We were celebrating a relative’s birthday. The food was outrageous! The appetizers were amazing as were all of the entrees. I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. Despite that, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this fabulous restaurant.“

It was so delicious and so tasty and my main course was the homemade linguine with lump crab and corn. We also got the meatball which was spectacular and then I got the cheesecake dessert which was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely love love love this place. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Though it might be easy to overlook because of the location, it’s absolutely worth finding parking for, even if you’re coming from a bit further away. The portion sizes are huge for the price—this delicious meal was only $15, and the flavor is out of this world. The meat was so tender, it literally fell apart, and every bite just kept getting better. You can taste the love and care in every dish. “I never ever ever ever feel obliged to review restaurants. There are hundreds of reviews that speak and echo anything I would say about the delicious meal I enjoyed. But what is compelling me to post this was truly the regarding the service I received here. It brought me to tears!!! Patricio and Dylan were the most considerate, kind, attentive and understanding waiters I have ever met in my entire life. After dining in the tri-state area my whole life, exploring cities like Chicago and LA through food, I’ve been conditioned and numb to lackluster waitstaff and typically take the approach of trying just to avoid them spitting in my food, but Patricio and Dylan completely floored me in their attention to detail, knowledge, and service that showed me exactly what good waiters could be. Living with GI issues and intolerances, I consistently feel like an inconvenience at restaurants and that the entire responsibility of making sure I don’t fall ill after dining is based on how I modify the menu and pick around my plate. EXCEPT here at Rails with Patricio and Dylan, I had the first care-free dining experience in my life, their thoughtfulness allowed me to be truly present with my family, enjoy the wonderful food being served, and just live in the moment, which is so important to me. Dylan was explicit in the detail of every dish and always helped me navigate what was coming around and being served. Now, back to the tears, when I subtly mentioned in passing to Patricio that I couldn’t eat dairy and couldn’t partake in the birthday cake, he brought me a delicious sorbet flight, unprompted, just so that I could feel a part of the festivities.
