The person who sat us was also the server, food runner, and busser; with all these responsibilities, it was impossible to be as attentive as I know they could have been because they were very sweet and polite. “We recently used Anthony’s catering for a small birthday gathering at my house. I was really impressed with the food, the service, and reasonable prices. The baked ziti was really delicious, reminding me of my grandmom’s Italian cooking and much better than standard catering fare. The salad was very fresh with strawberries and a yummy tangy dressing, and the cheesecake was some of the best I’ve ever had. Also, when they needed to substitute the toffee topping on the cheesecake I ordered, they went above and beyond to find a suitable sub for us, offering lots of yummy alternatives (we went with pecan and salted caramel - YUM!). Anthony’s is going to be my new go-to when I’m entertaining and don’t want to cook!“

“I don't know how many times I drove by Wood Stack on Rt 46 without paying any attention to it. Then a family party was held there and I was impressed. The food here is just good. Fresh, plenty of it, and served attractively. It has become one of our go-tos. I especially like the lunch menu - the eggplant sandwich and half salad is my regular order. The pizzas are excellent and the entrees generous and full of flavor. My husband's favorite thing is the chocolate chip cookie and milk dessert, served warm on a wooden board. Service is always consistent too. Great place to have here in town.“

“The outback steak house is one of our favorite places to go. We love the Walk About Wednesday Special- but even more so, we love our favorite server, Victoria. She is so kind. She is really sweet. “Nice little gem for brunch in the neighborhood few minutes drive from the Home Depot. A cute tiny house with parking all round it. Inside is cozy and the waitresses were super friendly and helpful despite how busy this place is. The food is great. They are not kidding when they said the corn hash was homemade, you know it is definitely not from a can. Everything just blended very well together. The rye bread that it comes with is also excellent (or maybe it's the salted butter they put on it). The Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich was hot and fresh. My 5 year old would have eaten them whole thing if we did not order the fries. It is so fairly priced. The fries were $3.50, to put in perspective, a large fries from McDonald's costs $3.99. Our bill was about $30 with 2 coffees which they refilled several times. One of the best places for breakfast food, this place is a real deal.“

I just wish those same brewers would take their companies offerings more serious and treat it like the incredibly difficult market they are in rather than treat it like a hobby. We have over 200 breweries and just a handful of ones that can compete in flavor with some of the better North East brewers. We need better tasting beer in our backyard.“

We arrived at 1130 so it was pretty quiet which was enjoyable .First and foremost, our server Cynthia was incredible. Informative, funny and took very good care of us. My wife started out with a mimosa, myself a Bloody Mary. I personally did not like it, tasted like a watered down cocktail sauce. Food and drink are subjective so I’m sure others do enjoy it. I followed it up with an Irish Coffee over Ice. Was pretty decent. In to the food which had a nice selection, especially a lobster roll I couldn’t pull the trigger onMy wife had the Eggs Benedict and a Lemon Ricotta Pancake. She enjoyed both. I had the Flat Iron Steak w/eggs and fries. Was a nice piece, good char but was average at best, eggs were over cooked but was completely ok and the French fries, may just have been the best fries I’ve had in my life.Overall, 5 drinks, a soda and both the meals ended up being like $72 which is a win in itself for brunch. I’m definitely going to make my way back here and check out the dinner menu since I have read some great things.“

I know these folks here are known for their “best of NJ” Taylor Ham ;not pork roll ( almost forgot where I was) and cheese. I’ve had it here before and I do believe it is incredible and stands up to the claims. However… the cheesesteak they make here may not be getting enough love. I like to support small owned businesses because usually you receive good quality service and that’s what I encountered when coming in this morning. I had the bacon egg and cheese on a roll and a coffee. The sandwich was delicious, and the coffee was just that. Coffee. If you’re in a rush first thing in the morning be sure to give yourself time because they take they’re time to prep the food but in a good way overall I was satisfied and will be back again.“

“Second time having breakfast here and it was just as good as the first! They have omelettes eggs, french toast pancakes. All the standard breakfast stuff. They're blueberry pancakes are some of the freshest I've ever had. Today I had one of their specials which were brownie pancakes they were little pieces of homemade brownie mixed in with the batter. Then they were very good. They don't have cold brew but they're regular. Ice coffee is some of the best I've ever tasted. The manager is sweet. She runs the cafe. Takes all the orders and interacts with the customers. I had breakfast with my father and sometimes he can be a pain. They didn't have expresso but she allowed him to come in with a cup of coffee from the outside which I was embarrassed by but it was very nice of her to allow .She's very friendly and outgoing. This will definitely be one of my new frequent places to visit.“
