“Didn’t expect to find my best crispy pork belly of the year at a Thai spot!!! The skin was insanely crisp yet slightly chewy. The dipping sauce on the side was perfectly balanced.

For the main, we went with the panang short ribs. The beef was coated in a rich, mildly spicy curry. We added steamed veggies instead of rice and they fit curry.“

What's good which happens to be staples from Taiwanese cuisine:
- Beef Noodle Soup (solid soup base and super tender beef)
- Lo Ba Beng (aka Ru Rou Fan) with fish floss on the side

What's decent:
- BDSM chicken sandwich only (was extremely juicy but didn't have that Taiwanese dust)

What's ok:
- beef stock braided tofu (too bland)
- tater tots that comes with the BDSM chicken sandwich (it's just regular tater tots with a side of ketchup, no special Taiwanese dust)

I went twice during my stay in NYC and they didn't give the condiments (comes in a 3-piece container holder) with the Triple Treasure Noodle Soup and I had to ask for it. Idk why but even then, we didn't get the same chili sauce nor the 3-piece container condiments I had gotten the first time with the Beef Noodle Soup.

My first visit was on a weekday and second visit was on a weekend, but I preferred my weekday visit“

“We throughly enjoyed our dinner tonight. There were 7 of us and they were so nice to accommodate us. We had 3 different appetizers 3 different ramens and 2 different rice bowls. Everyone loved everything. Highly recommend!“

“I liked the menu options a lot, a good variety of diner food w/ some French inspired dishes. Our waiter was funny and really nice lol. Place is kinda small, but we didn’t have to wait at all even though it’s a no res spot. They gave us a small ice cream and whipped cream dessert for new years 🥹 Overall, I had higher expectations for the food based on the price points so was a little disappointed

- French onion soup ($19): 7/10, I LOVE French onion soup, but the broth wasn’t as flavorful or onion-y as I would’ve liked. Was pretty excited about this but disappointed. It was filled to the brim, which is great in theory, but it was lowkey hard to start eating it without it spilling over
- Patty melt ($21): 8/20, pretty solid, but lowkey reminds me of the melt from Waffle House lol
- Fries: 7/10, standard
- Complimentary ice cream w/ whipped cream: 7/10, standard ice cream, but it was nice that it was free 🥹

A previous review mentioned the sauce was sweet but that they probably don't add sugar to their tomato sauce. I would disagree with that assumption. Half way through the pizza ... The sweetness kinda took over for me. And that's just a personal preference maybe?

Service was cold and not the friendliest.
The set up itself was decent enough and clean... They had some latin music playing which was ok.

It’s a newer place on Main Street I have been meaning to check out and it didn’t disappoint. I made my own salad bowl with salmon that was cooked PERFECTLY truly amazing. Everything was so flavorful I ended up not even using the dressing I picked it simply wasn’t needed in my opinion so now I have some sauce to make something at home with! It ended up being around $35+ but that’s because I got a lot of add on and honestly I don’t regret it at all. It was a treat yourself kinda tab lol. Most people order through DoorDash or Uber Eats, but they’re definitely missing out on the best part: the interior design. I love the creativity from the food presentation to the overall ambiance.
