“This place is such a VIBE....The food was phenomenal, we had the watermelon salad (oh my lord, the flavor in this was outstanding, so glad I tried it), the lobster gnocchi, and the lobster, shrimp and scallop Fra Diavolo - both excellent dishes! The complimentary bread and olive oil plate that came out before our meals was also exceptional, full of spices and flavor. We booked on Resy and were seated immediately upon arrival. The food came out quickly and the service was excellent as well. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive, and the manager and chef came to our table during our dinner to check in. The additional staff that refilled our water and cleared our plates were also very friendly. The atmosphere is upscale and the view of the marina is spectacular. Well done LaBarca we'll be back soon !!“

“Last night we dined here and everything was excellent, from the service to the food, only thing we didn’t care for and was disappointed in was the crème brûlée, it’s not your typical traditional crème brûlée but everything else was wonderful. Will be back for sure!“

“In my humble opinion, I must state that my total experience at this “Exceptional Restaurant “ was 10 STARS! The staff greeted when I arrived with a smile and I must admit that the CRAP TRAP has a philosophy of making sure you will have an individual who is a Professional who will advise you and answer any questions about their “SUPERIOR” menu! Our waitress never missed a beat when it came to advising me the in her opinion, I should choose their famous Crab Cake that was stuffed with crab and no fillers! One thing that you will observe, their salad was so fresh and the rolls & muffins were homemade & hot! You have several choices of side dishes & I selected the apple sauce that had to be prepared in house, and the frech fries were crispy and also seasoned perfectly! Our table was spotless, and the whole restaurant had a staff who never rushed you, but was always there to refill you water! I have dined in 5 Star Restaurants on my vacations & business trips, and all I must state is for being my 1ST Visit to the CRAP TRAP, I plan to make it a weekly location and a priority on my “Schedule”! I have wanted to dine there before, but I can add there parking lot suggested that there was a long wait, When I entered, I was so impressed by the size of the inside accommodation! I must apologize for my velours review, but I truly feel that this restaurant is a “GEM”“

“I wasn't expecting this place to be too good, after I tried some other local spots but it was soooo good! We loved everything we ordered! My personal favorite was mac'n'cheese and coleslaw, it was exactly how I like it. Catfish was delicious as well! We did wait about 30 mins but it was totally worth it! “Excellent dining experience. Walked in and was greeted with a smile. Sat quickly. Alysa, the server, was quick to get me a drink. Alysa shared the specials of the day. Ordered endless shrimp with brocolli. The brocolli was cooked to perfection, and the shrimp came out hot. Alysa checked in with for refills and to see how the food was... which was excellent. Gave me extra rolls when I was waiting a little for another round of shrimp.....
Shrimp scampi, fried shrimp, and shrimp alfredo....they were hot and tasted delicious.

The place was clean. The food was awesome. The service was awesome from the hostess to the server, which was remarkable.

If I were in the area, I would visit again.

Since the food was so delicious, I took an entrée home...baked haddock and steamed brocolli to go....looking forward to eating.

“First visit despite being owners on the island for years. Had a reco from a friend to put any of their soups over pasta. Great idea! But what’s more the staff were the definition of a mom/pop shop you want to support. All the items we got were great, highly recommend the crab au gratin. The best experience I’ve had at the shore. Drinks were absolutely perfect. I was welcomed like I was a local and put on to everything else in the area. I’ll be back to margate based on the service. The food is priced perfectly, the drinks are perfect.

We usually go to Delaware beaches and Atlantic City almost ruined coming back.
