“So good! We have been in construction for the last 9 months. All of which was supposed to take 4 month. We haven't been able to cook and Moms Kitchen has been our go to for quite a few nights. Gave us our home cooked meals when we couldn't handle fast food or take out. We can recommend enough and will for sure be our staple for future dinners.“

“The salad is good but the price makes it hard to come here often. It’s a simple balance of buying the $3 mix at shop rite or the $13 salad here. Again, it is economics driving the four stars. I still go here for salad if I want one for lunch and not a homemade one.“

“The hummus was amazing! The dips have barcodes but nothing was scanned. We were told that small containers were $6 and large $9. The staff seemed nice so I don’t think we were overcharged but we’ve been up charged at certain places so we were just a little weary. We definitely stood out but staff was nice and the hummus makes you want to come back. The pastries did have prices so we tried the babka. They also have a chalkboard menu of items to order.“

“My husband and I came across this place when we drove past it last week after running errands. I said to him that we need to try this. We decided to come tonight and I have to say. We had the best experience! When we walked in my first thought was this place is so clean and the environment was so amazing. We each created our own Poke Bowl and had the brown sugar milk tea. The people behind the counter were very nice. The woman who made the bowls was very sweet. She explained how the bowls were made and answered our questions. The Poke Bowls were absolutely delicious! Everything was very fresh and you got alot for the price. The tea was not sweet like the woman stated. And it was very good to drink with the bubbles. This place was so amazing that we decided we are not only going to keep coming back. We decided to change our original plans for Valentines Day and we will be coming here instead! If you want a great staff, great food, and amazing teas in a very clean place, this is the place for you! Highly recommend!“

“Stop the presses!! I found a great new restaurant where artistry trumps slinging hash. It’s Pop Empanada, re-christened Pop Pasta Supper Club on Thursdays and Saturday nights. On those days, Chef Nicolas Pescatore prepares a 6 course meal, and even if you don’t like every course, you will appreciate the artistry and the ambition. Tonight, the courses were 1. celery avocado salad (replacing salmon, which this landlubber doesn’t like), 2. shrimp empanada in a butter curry sauce, 3. pork belly confit, 4. raviolo-soft boiled egg center in a brown butter sage sauce, 5. brisket ragu paccheri pasta, and 6. dessert of frangelica panna cotta key lime shortbread crumble. The cost with tip is around $100 per person plus the cost of your BYOB. We wouldn’t pay that cost often, but it’s a welcome break from the restaurants where kitchen staff show up at 4 PM and are ready to serve at 5pm.“

“I've been coming to Lettuce Inn Juice Bar for years, and it never disappoints! They have such a great variety of drinks and food, so there’s always something new to try. My absolute favorites are the taro milk bubble tea. It is so smooth, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. The ingredients are always fresh, and the quality is consistent. You must get the omakase (Lunch and dinner) or higher premium cuts because they source really really amazing stuff and you don’t want to miss out. “After a very long day, I came in get a bite to eat before I went back to traveling. The food is delicious. The staff is incredible. They will go the extra mile for you (literally). After ordering and eating entirely too much delicious food the couple who owns the restaurant gave me a ride to the bus station. The woman who served me was kind and kept me company while I was alone. Really one of the best experiences I have had in the entire state of New Jersey. Thankful for people like you.“

“My favorite local pizza place! No joke. Everything they make is phenomenal. They also always have a great variety of single slices ready to go (my go-to for lunch), and their burroni pie is unbeatable! Tonight, I went with Gio's pizza, and loved it!

They also make great sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. You won't be disappointed with whatever you get!

“I come here every once in a while. It's quite nice, the food is really good and reasonably priced. They also have a nice selection of gluten-free menu options. I'm not gluten-free, but recently, it's been something I look out for and notice because I love someone who is Celiac. Most recently, I came for my birthday, and they were able to modify items on the menu to custom create what I was looking for! (always a plus)

“My husband and I could not decide on what to eat for dinner since it was late. Decided to try Sweet Berry bowls in Glen Rock. We have lived in Hawthorne for 8 years and have passed this place so many times, so glad we stopped in tonight. We were greeted by Samantha and Rubby, they recommended some bowls and they were delicious!!! They both were extremely helpful and kind. I was extremely impressed by the courteous service from Samantha. This is my new go to place for Açaí bowls.“

“On the first chilly fall night we enjoyed excellent escarole and bean soup as well as black bean and prosciutto soup! We followed those huge bowls (which were so large we each took half home) with the best salad slice of pizza BAR NONE ANYWHERE, and delicious Eggplant Rollatini.

Frank’s isn’t just pizza but delicious Italian food as well. Angelo is a lovely and generous guy. Our only negative is that the bathrooms could surely use updating and improvement.“

“I went there with my 2 sisters and their husbands for dinner. The dining area was very inviting. We got a table by the window which was nice but as the crowd grew the noise level got really bad. The service was good and the waiter knew his stuff. The portions are large but the shrimps were cold and my med rare lamb was well done. We sent the shrimp back to reheat. The funny thing was that as soon as my wife lifted her plate the waiter said , oh not hot enough. Did overall was just okay. Desert menu was small but okay. Not a I’m running back restaurant“

“Our family and friends had dinner at Fino Christmas Eve. If I could give them 10 stars I would. They were totally booked, yet service was fabulous. The waiters worked together as if each movement was rehearsed. The food came out with perfect timing and each dish was outstanding. This was not our first time at Fino. Every time we have dined there has been a wonderful experience. If you want an outstanding dining experience, I suggest Fino. The food is wonderful, and all the waiters have great personalities and are truly a professional team.“

“Excellent, a close place to grab halal food. Tried gyro and falafel platter. Rice was cumin forward, gyro lots of flavor and falafel crunch but soft on the inside. Falafel is spiced a little bit differently, not overly vegetal. White and red sauce available too. Will be go-to lunch place. Prices are average but portion is decently sized. Dining tables inside too.“

“Aside from Nanuet Hotel pizza, this is some of the best pizza around. And even comparing the two isn't fair because they're 2 different styles, but both are delicious in their own way. After the Greek salad, crisp zucchini, and grilled calamari, the Pastitsio, Moussaka, and seafood Giouvetsi all cooked in clay pots filled us up, but then the lamb chops with lemon potatoes arrived, and nobody could resist them. For dessert we had a platter of galaktobureko"milkpie" and one called ekmek, that we could not decide which was the best. We will definitely come back, but we better fast in advance.“
