Working with Nicholas was a breeze - he had everything set up beautifully and was extremely professional throughout the process. The party was fantastic - staff was professional and friendly. Food was amazing as well! The whole party enjoyed every aspect of it, and made me look like a genius having it here :)! Thank you to everyone at Pickett's for an unforgettable day.“

“OMG!!!!!! THE BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD!!!!!!
This is not an exaggeration. They have cracked the code to the perfect crust/sauce/ topping ratio. The crust is crispy and fluffy and buttery without being greasy. The toppings are FRESH! It's light and hearty at the same time. I got the zucchini and buffalo slices and my sister got the Upside Down and the massive garlic knot. INCREDIBLE!!!!! I'm not usually a buffalo sauce person because it can be acidic and too spicy...........THIS IS PERFECT. The zucchini slice tasted like they picked everything from the garden. If you love a more saucy pizza the upside down is LEGIT.!!

Adam was so incredibly kind and welcoming. He explained everything to us and has the best energy!!

“This is a great place for lunch or dinner. No reservations taken so you have to wait. This place knows how to make bread. Their pizza was amazing! The prosciutto sandwich was more like a panini however great also! Their pastries are so flaky and fresh. The meatball appie with a dab of ricotta was outstanding. “I eat at Maplewood Pizzeria occasionally. My food is always good and service has always been friendly. Last week, my job order zeppole from there, but they gave the wrong time for pickup. The event would have started before the pick-up time. We'll, I went there and explained the situation to the young man behind the counter. He told me he would start the order for me, and I had two pans of freshly made zeppole in 20 minutes. They were delicious. The service was impeccable and above and beyond anything that we could have hoped. BTW, the zeppoles were delicious, and the trays were overflowing. They were delicious, and everyone asked where we purchased them. Maplewood Pizzeria saved the day.“

“I’ve been looking for a Neapolitan pizza place for a bit and I just happened to see one in my own neighborhood! The pizza was incredible. The dough was perfect and the toppings complemented eachother really well. Staff was so warm and welcoming. It’s a cute little spot and feels cozy and comfortable inside. Will be coming back! Also always a bonus when the staff is respectful of my service dog!“

“If you are looking for GOOD NY style pizza, you need to try Nonno's. There are many pizzerias in the Clifton / Nutley area, but in my opinion the pizza here is one of the best I have had. Sauce is favourable. Cheese is good quality unlike some places where they fall off the moment you pick up the slice. Service is super friendly and accommodating. It's a small place with a feeling of a neighbourhood-go-to pizzeria“

“First time visiting this gem after roaming the area for a good slice. I had them heat up a cheese, famous Giuseppe, and pepperoni slices. All were extremely delicious, thin, and crispy. Just the way I like it. I’m not quite sure what the crust from their special pies are but I LOVE it. The undercarriage is like a thin focaccia style bread. I sat down on the patio as well which kept me nice and cool throughout the experience. Oh and I got a complimentary drink for dining in!

Most importantly, Mr Jack Calandra served me (and my dog with two slices of raw pepperoni) and he was nothing but amazing to say the least. We got to chat a bit and he gave me quick story of how this spot and its specials pies.

“Bought three slices of pizza here tonight.
The boss' service was very good and he patiently heated up the pizza. The brother who was sitting next to me drinking beer was also very friendly and told me that the similar looking pizzas were not the same, they used different cheese.
The pizza is really, really delicious. It's the best pizza I've ever had in Bloomfield.
It's a pity that the six point bar does not have such good service. They didn't believe my student ID and refused to sell me alcohol, however the bar opposite welcomed me warmly.

“Hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in the world, I'm there at least once per week. The portions are enormous (for two people at least) and their vodka sauce is to die for. I love pork chops too and my favorite salad is the string beans one - I could eat it every day. Maybe not the fancy looks but you will love their food, I promise you.“
