“I eat at Maplewood Pizzeria occasionally. My food is always good and service has always been friendly. Last week, my job order zeppole from there, but they gave the wrong time for pickup. The event would have started before the pick-up time. We'll, I went there and explained the situation to the young man behind the counter. He told me he would start the order for me, and I had two pans of freshly made zeppole in 20 minutes. They were delicious. The service was impeccable and above and beyond anything that we could have hoped. BTW, the zeppoles were delicious, and the trays were overflowing. They were delicious, and everyone asked where we purchased them. Maplewood Pizzeria saved the day.“

“I’ve been looking for a Neapolitan pizza place for a bit and I just happened to see one in my own neighborhood! The pizza was incredible. “I had a birthday party for my daughter here. In all we were about 20 guests. Kim and husband created a special menu for the occasion. It was absolutely amazing! Everyone raved about how delicious everything was. We had cold antipasto, rice balls, eggplant rollatini, calamari, chicken wings and pizza. There was so much food! “I had such a great experience here. I haven’t been in years since moving, but we decided to stop in after visiting family, and I’m so glad we did. John was our server, and he was awesome—super friendly and very personable. He checked on us just enough without hovering and gave us great recommendations.
I really missed coming here. It felt so nice to just sit, relax, and not feel rushed while enjoying our food. The clam pie was amazing, and the buffalo calamari was just as good. Parking is still terrible (it took us over 20 minutes to find a spot), but honestly, it was worth the hassle and wait for a table. Overall, great food and great service. “If you are looking for GOOD NY style pizza, you need to try Nonno's. There are many pizzerias in the Clifton / Nutley area, but in my opinion the pizza here is one of the best I have had. Sauce is favourable. Cheese is good quality unlike some places where they fall off the moment you pick up the slice. Service is super friendly and accommodating. “First time visiting this gem after roaming the area for a good slice. I had them heat up a cheese, famous Giuseppe, and pepperoni slices. All were extremely delicious, thin, and crispy. Just the way I like it. I’m not quite sure what the crust from their special pies are but I LOVE it. The undercarriage is like a thin focaccia style bread. I sat down on the patio as well which kept me nice and cool throughout the experience. Oh and I got a complimentary drink for dining in!

Most importantly, Mr Jack Calandra served me (and my dog with two slices of raw pepperoni) and he was nothing but amazing to say the least. We got to chat a bit and he gave me quick story of how this spot and its specials pies.
