“I have lived in the area my whole life and passed by this place many times. It wasn’t until a coworker recommended Juliano’s to me for their amazing wings that my husband and I actually tried it for ourselves. My coworker did not let me down because their buffalo tenders were incredible! The were so tender and the buffalo sauce was perfect. Not too spicy with a very slight sweetness. I would argue they might be the best buffalo tenders in the area!! We also got the grilled mahi tacos and Juliano’s salad. The tacos were a pleasant surprise! The mahi tasted fresh and they put so much of it in the tacos. We didn’t even touch the salad because the tacos and tenders were so filling! Took the salad home and had it the next day and that was good as well. We went on a Sunday night and sat at the bar. We watched the football game surrounded by locals and it was the exact vibe we wanted. No frills dive bar to watch the game with some good food and beer. We enjoyed our experience so much we got take out a week later. The tenders again, did not disappoint. We will be back, and I have a feeling it will be frequently!“

The food was like Nonas in Deep South Philly & just as plentiful.We went with my Sister Linda & Brother in-law. The staff were pleasant & friendly & it’s a BYOB which I prefer because I can pare my wine. Google the menu & if your in the proximity do your palate a justice & go. “I went from hungry to hangry. We order from there a couple times a week. Good size orders. Just called to place an order and because the sub we wanted wasn't on the menu, they refused. They have the ingredients and have done it before . So, that's it. No more orders. It was a new employee. It's a shame. They royally messed up our last order, but I was willing to overlook it and refused free peanut butter pie, as an apology. A couple other places in the area make these very basic sandwiches, so we'll be going there for everything else as well.“

What drew us back for some time was the humbleness of fine Italian food mixed with genuinely kind and low keyed charismatic servers. There was unfortunately a shift in management. Our relationship with La Fontana changed. Our final dinner at La Fontana (Strathmere) ended with the general restaurant manager having an explosive fit directed toward two life long friends in their mid-80s.“

Staff was super friendly, however, there were these older drunk men at the bar (about 5 or 6 of them) and they were being so loud, cursing, and just carrying on and making a huge scene. I literally had to yell at my fiancé who was sitting RIGHT next to me. They ruined the whole vibe and experience. The staff did nothing to quiet them and they were just so freaking obnoxious!!“

“This place is such a VIBE....The food was phenomenal, we had the watermelon salad (oh my lord, the flavor in this was outstanding, so glad I tried it), the lobster gnocchi, and the lobster, shrimp and scallop Fra Diavolo - both excellent dishes! The complimentary bread and olive oil plate that came out before our meals was also exceptional, full of spices and flavor. We booked on Resy and were seated immediately upon arrival. The food came out quickly and the service was excellent as well. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive, and the manager and chef came to our table during our dinner to check in. The additional staff that refilled our water and cleared our plates were also very friendly. The atmosphere is upscale and the view of the marina is spectacular. “His pizza and sauce is like my grandmom’s and I told Walt when he used to be in the Somers Pt store. Everything is well made and fresh and good. He even has good sodas. I love Sicilian pizza and his is excellent. All his pizza is excellent but his white pizza is so good and I think it must cost a lot to make it, so his profit on it is tight but it could be in a restaurant with high end pizza menus. His staff is well trained and so pleasant and know their menu. Do you see how nice chick filet staff is, well Walt must have someone teach his staff like that. I see how busy his store is. Walt was always so nice to me and was extra nice to my clients from the Arc when I’d bring them in as a special occasion. He deserves to do extremely well and I hope that if he does ever retire that the people who take over can carry on his food and atmosphere.“
