We were a group of 10 from NH looking for a place for dinner before the show. Max raved about the food at the Millburn Standard and recommended we go there. The staff was friendly, very accommodating to our large party (we did call for reservations, but they don’t take them) and the food was excellent (get the nachos!) They were just as nice when we came back after the play just to sit and have drinks. I feel like they went out of their way to accommodate us and we are all most appreciative. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“This place was such a great discovery! Beautiful interior and an excellent cocktail selection, both in taste and presentation. The Gin & Jam was fantastic, and the Coconut Espresso Martini is probably one of the best espresso martinis I’ve had.

We ordered the lamb chops, which were cooked to perfection, and the oyster mushroom pasta, both dishes were outstanding. Finished with tiramisu, which was also very good.

Lastly, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive! Definitely a great spot - will be back!“

“Excellent Ramen. Great service. Great little spot. The kimchi they bring you is divine, spicey, and delicious. The Spicey Ramen I had was amazing, even down to delicious bean sprouts. The spring rolls were on point. By far the best shrimp tempora I've had. Simple, light, crisp and delicious. Oh and the house sake was fantastic. If you're in the area, check this place out. “A very educational and fun visit to a neighborhood gem of a local crafter in the Ironbound section of Newark. The proprietor/distiller was very friendly and eager to teach about the distillation process and the history of whisk(e)y in the British Isles and the New World. I would highly recommend this tour especially for spirits education.“

“I had a private event in the Parlor Room and it was fabulous. Food and drinks were spot on and the service was dynamite. There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. I really love the unique atmosphere of the place -warm, classy and comfortable all at once. No boring old chain restaurant vibes here. Everyone had a great time. I would definitely host future events here.“

“An excellent spot with a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere, a mix of classic, alternative and modern rock-inspired vibes. The music is great, and above all, the quality and variety of their handcrafted spirits, made right on-site, are outstanding. Their cocktails are equally impressive, both in taste and creativity.
The only downside during our visit was the wait time between placing our order and receiving our drinks. There was only one bartender on duty, and although the place wasn’t completely full, the crowd size really called for an extra pair of hands behind the bar. That’s definitely an area they could improve.
Overall, though, the experience was very enjoyable, and I’d gladly come back.“

“High Life Skii Club held a 60th anniversary party on Nov 1 with 99 members attending. With an assorted buffet menu and a live band, our members had a memorable evening in the private room of Tavern 73. The cash bar was very busy, and people raved about the food as they left this 4-hour event. Special thanks to Kaya and Gail for the excellent job they did to help to organize and execute this event. They were Best! Thank you, Tavern 73. High Life will not forget you!“

Our bartender, Francesca was also a vibe & makes the best cosmos I’ve ever had…I definitely recommend the Thai chili wings. They were amazing the crispy chicken tacos also looked good. “I honestly loved Keepers. The vibe is incredible… it feels cozy and cool at the same time and the space is perfect whether you go for breakfast brunch or dinner. The dining room is beautiful too the décor is so well done and the whole place just feels really inviting.

The service was amazing and the food was honestly so good. And I have to say this… the best sangria I’ve ever had was here. I asked for a sweet sangria and they made it exactly how I like it and OMG it was delicious.

“Just had the best experience with ladyfingers! I had a birthday party for my daughter and they provided a two tier cake and a coffee bar. Lauren was very responsive from start to finish. I was able to pick the flavors and filings for each tier off their long list of options. I didn’t have much time to look for a cake design so just sent over a photo of a cake that I quickly googled. They were able to create it, and even better, they added a customized cake topper with my daughter’s name. They also delivered it to the venue which was very important to me since I didn’t want to deal with picking up a big cake from a bakery and making sure it didn’t get ruined during an already busy day. At the party they provided us with a “coffee bar” serving up a variety of flavored hot and iced coffee & chai. The guests loved this! Many drove from far so a coffee option was exactly what the needed upon arrival. The onsite team was great, arrived early to setup, and went above and beyond by lending me a cake stand and having ice delivered for us when we were unable to get any because it happened to be sold out everywhere near by. Overall great experience and would highly recommend them!“
