“Looking for a change in ordering Chinese food and was very happy with this restaurant. Their hot and sour soup was so flavorful. Just the right amount of hot and seasoned perfectly. The chicken chow mein was delicious with lots of chicken and a wonderful sauce. The pork fried rice also was nicely prepared with excellent flavors. Even their egg rolls were nice and crispy without being greasy. Will be adding the China Pavilion to our list of takeout locations.“

“New Ho King kitchen Chinese food to take out or deliver is absolutely delicious.
Whether you're picking up or having it deliver, the food is always piping hot. Their Szechuan Beef is perfectly flavorful, with the right amount of spice. The vegetable Lo Mein is incredibly fresh and not greasy. The portions are generous, and the pricing is reasonable for the quality.
The staff is always super friendly and efficient. This is definitely our favorite for Chinese takeout!

“This Chinese restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was outstanding. The dumplings were delicate and filled with delicious fillings. The Sweet and Sour Pork was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right balance of sweet and sour flavors. The restaurant also pays attention to detail in presentation. “My family and I come here all the time for large family gatherings. The food is absolutely phenomenal here, especially the pecking duck buns and sweet and sour pork. We also love the soy sea bass, crispy chicken, ginger scallion lobster, pork chops and corn egg drop soup. One time we brought them king crab legs to cook and they cooked all of our king crab legs to perfection!! I don’t usually write google reviews but this place is so special to me and my family and adore this spot. The service is so fast and attentive and they are kind enough to provide free dessert whether that be fresh oranges, fresh fruit or even sometimes sweet red bean soup! “The food at this Chinese restaurant is super good. I recently moved to Fairfield and needed to find a good spot for Chinese takeout out. So, I tried joy wok. I ordered sesame chicken combo and the Mongolian beef. They were both super good. I don’t normally like my sesame chicken a little spicy and they made it just right for me.
The customer service is also great. I had accidentally ordered white rice with the Mongolian beef and when I picked up my order they switched it to fried rice right away with no extra charge. Everyone there is super nice. Definitely recommend if you are in the area in search of a good Chinese spot.“

We enjoyed their fried rice, orange chicken, and steamed chicken with broccoli. The fried dumplings were on the oily side, so we’ll probably get them steamed for our next order. “We often order from Verona Chinese Kitchen, delivery only. Deliveries are prompt. I really like their Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Chicken with Cashew Nuts. My husband enjoys their Beef with Snowpeas, and Shrimp Toast. We sometimes order their soups, especially the Hot and Sour soup and Wonton soup, but ask for modifications as my husband has certain tolerances. They are very accommodating, everything arrives as ordered. It is Americanized Chinese food, and I have been to China. Now for Amer. Chinese food, the scallion pancakes were bad, doughy not crunchy at all, a 1 star. The basil beef was pretty decent, with enough basil and flavors, although my medium spice was more mild, but that is very subjective at each restaurant. The important thing is that the base dish was flavorful, a 3.5 to 4 star. HnS soup was a 3 star. Pretty std for American Chinese HnS soup. Important question: Would I go back? If it was more local, yes, I would probably have this as my std place. But with a 20-minute drive, I can go elsewhere.“

“The food here was incredibly flavorful and prepared very quickly – we were the only four guests around 3 PM. We truly enjoyed the taste and speed of service.

However, I was displeased to see that we were charged for six portions of rice when we ordered four dishes totaling $90. I believe that one rice portion should have been included per dish, making a charge for two extra portions fair. Given that our four dishes combined for $90, it felt a bit like a hidden $1.50 per dish to pay for rice that really should have been complementary.

“Was looking for a good authentic Chinese food in this part of Jersey, and this place clearly delivered. Incredible minced beef soup to start. Then had the fried rice, braised duck with mixed vegetables, and pan-fried flounder. Delicious. The service was good and attentive, though quite pricey, especially the duck ( $38), and there wasn't much meat, just more vegetables. But the flounder was worth it, $32.95.“

I called for delivery 1/2hr before closing. They were very kind on the phone and at delivery, even though it was at closing. The food arrived hot and VERY DELICIOUS!! The only downfalls were that the General Tso's were a bit soggy but that was from the steam in the container. I understand that. The other downfall was that I wish I ordered more!! The General Tso's, egg rolls, pork fried rice ( it had plenty of veggies for fried rice) and cheese wonton were all very tasty. THANK YOU for the great food and service!! Getting in to lot is easier than getting out. Being it's location is at a corner which is often busy. Hard to turn left out of the lot due to the traffic pattern. Love the food there.

“This was my first time visiting Dozo Sushi and the hostess noticed my order and asked if I was vegetarian. After confirming I was, she let me know she would have the team replace my one roll as the sauce contained oysters. I didn't know about the sauce, and would have never known if she hadn't asked, so I was impressed about the extra level of care.
