They were closed during a good portion of Covid and we struggled to find an acceptable replacement. Judging by the lines out their door when they reopened many other people thought the same.“

“Happened to come across this place by surprise and at the last minute. Was looking for something light - a la a moo shu pork. I wasn't sure what to expect - but have to say it was really, really good. It is the first time I remember eating the whole portion. It was a great balance of vegetables, protein and seasoning. The only down side, using egg roll skin as the pancake is a bit of a cop out. A true Mandarin pancake would have earned it 5 stars.“

“In my continued quest to find a New York style Chinese restaurant, based on recommendations from neighbors, I tried this restaurant. I ordered online at their website which was fairly easy to do. Being a bargain hunter I couldn’t resist the family dinner for six. It came with six egg rolls, six chicken on sticks, six cheese wontons, 2 quarts of soup, two quarts of fried rice, and choice of three entrees. It came with all of the appropriate sauces, crispy noodles, etc. The delivery was promised in 55 minutes and the food arrived exactly on-time. The egg rolls were crispy and very good. The chicken on the stick was very moist and tasty. The wonton soup was tasty and very traditional. The cheese wontons were a very nice starter and the dipping sauce added nice sweetness. For entrees we had sesame chicken which got a thumbs up from my wife. I ordered roast pork lo mein which was also a thumb up. I struggled deciding on a third entree and finally gave in to honey chicken (not my personal favorite because of the thick coating batter). Overall, a very competent dinner. I’m glad the food was really good because we’ll be eating the leftovers for many days!“

“I’ve been ordering Chinese takeout back to living in Brooklyn for 20+ years. In almost all Chinese restaurant reviews, people always complain about delivery and how many shrimp they got. Just order pick up and don’t go to pricy places if u want to avoid being disappointed. I’ve bought from Madison Wok for 15 years now and never had a late order when ordering pick up here (usually 15 mins). The food tastes exactly as my local restaurant when I was a kid, so I can’t complain. For the price, consider how little you are paying for the amount of work and manpower going into it •• esp since it’s done so fast. Dao nearby has slightly less oil and flavor for a lot more money. I wanted to like it but just poor value since your deliver or pick up order price needs to support the wait staff. No American style Chinese food is healthy for you so stop thinking you’re doing something good by paying someone extra to do less oil, msg, etc. in summary, this is an old school place that gives you the standards for the least amount of money you’ll pay in this zip code. Not something to eat everyday, but when you need your fix for this kind of stuff. I recommend the pork dumplings, fried wings, curry chicken, wonton soup and any fried rice, plus the chow fun and generals chicken. My 3 kids never complain and no one has ever been sick. Sometimes I’m not crazy about the amount of meat but remember that I’m not paying $15 or $20 for a pint here, and the low prices are supporting a skeleton crew.“

“I enjoyed my lunch here - the scallion pancakes were really tasty! The fried rice was a little underwhelming, but all in all the meal was tasty. I would recommend as a quick lunch spot or you can order ahead like me! Side note - the guy working the front was very kind :)

“I came to the restaurant in the hope of getting a plate of sashimi. However, the menu did not have it available except for a small couple of pieces portion or a la carte. So I had a sushi roll version made up for me with cucumber. Because it's not a traditional Japanese sushi sashimi place with many fresh fish options, I only had the basic fish options like tuna, salmon and yellowtail. In terms of freshness, it was good. I'm sure the regular sushi rolls are fine but I didn't try any since my heart was set on sashimi. They tried the best they could to accommodate me.“

Five star review every time, this is our third time ordering and the new Chinese place for us in the indefinite future. Fast delivery usually. “Great place for dim sum. They have a wide variety of classics (like egg tart, chicken feet, fried pork buns, etc) and non-classics (like clams, shrimp, crab, mango sago, etc). Their prices range from $4.50 for a small dim sum to $12 for “chef” dim sum.

The service is fast. We came during brunch hours on a Sunday and even though there was a lot of people, we were instantly seated. And as soon as we got a table, the dim sum carts swung by right away. The servers can be a bit aggressive in insisting you take certain dishes (by placing them on the table before you’ve agreed to them), but as long as you say no they’ll take them away.

The inside is your typical Chinese dim sum restaurants with round tables and many dim sum carts running around.

The bathroom is clean and large with multiple stalls. It looks relatively new.

We parked in the lot outside and had no trouble finding parking.

There doesn’t seem to be good reception for AT&T here so we had some trouble navigating away after eating here.

“It was a baby shower hosted by the parents of the first time mother. The menu chosen by the father was selecting 90 percent of the delicious dim sum on themenu. We had every dish commonly enjoyed by families.

There were 30 tables with many young children all enjoying the food and the occasion. It was a wonderful celebration for new life, a new baby for expecting parents, grandparents, and family members and friends. The food, service, and the general happiness of the attending members was memorable.“

Everything is properly seasoned food is always hot and the portions are great. Also other Chinese food in the area use a weird type of Rice which is disgusting but Golden Garden’s fried rice is to die for. The price is awesome for the quality of food we received. “I ordered a side order of boneless spare ribs small and a egg roll for my mom the ribs were very good and delicious ? perfectly cooked and not greased my mom enjoyed the egg roll. The dough was well proportioned with the filling and crisp if you eat them fresh. The pork fried rice was ok. Could use a little more seasoning but it wasn’t bad with some soy sauce. It balanced out the chicken and dumplings. The chicken had that standard thick sauce used in other Chinese chicken dishes. General Tso is made with chili flakes and is supposed to be spicy with a hint of sweet crispy chicken. But that sauce drowned out the other flavors of the chili that gives this dish its identity.The dumplings are definitely my favorite thing here. I would come again.The food took about 15-20 min to make which is quiet a while. But they did make everything fresh and hot. Which tasted a lot better that way.Spent $18 for everything. $9 (and change) for lunch special and $8 for dumplings.“
