“Been going to China City for 20+ years and surprised I haven't reviewed it on Google. By far my favorite place in Parsippany for Chinese Food. Recently did an early mother's day celebration and food as always it was delicious, fresh, and made for a perfect meal. Ordered a bunch of food including soup, steamed dumplings, egg rolls, General Tso's Chicken, Sesame chicken, hot and spicy chicken, pork fried rice, and beef lomein. Despite the large order, food was ready as promised and was 100% correct with no screw ups. Family was happy and it made a great meal. Definitely my 1st choice when it comes to Chinese Food in the Parsippany area.“

“I have been coming here to many years and it is one of the best Chinese take out restaurants in the area. Good sized portions and the food is always fresh and flavorful. The service is quick and the prices are very resonable. I typically get chicken with garlic sauce and it is loaded with chicken. They are take out only, there is no dining area.“

“Great little location on the corner of Elm St. for this takeout place. Friendly service, quick orders to go. The food is absolutely made with hard work and lots of love. This was our first visit considering we came all the way from Union. It was definitely worth the 22min drive. We would definitely order from there in the future. I highly recommend giving trying this place out. I either get shrimp w/broccoli with white rice, chicken w/broccoli in garlic sauce extra garlic sauce with white rice, 2 spicy salmon rolls and 2 spicy tuna rolls w/spicy mayo and eel sauce on the side oh yeah they have sushi too..😌, or chicken wings with shrimp fried rice I enjoy changing it up because everything is really that good.“

My last order I mistakenly ordered "volcano" wonton instead of the regular. I didn't realize my goof until I got home and read the receipt. I found Panda Wok last week and I can’t say enough about this restaurant. I wouldn’t plan on going there for dinner but their Takeout is great. I picked up my dinner last week and not only was it delicious but it was 3 times what I needed for dinner. This week I tried them for delivery. Having first tried several of the delivery services I found they marked up the prices by over 10% and could not seem to find the MAJOR NATIONAL HOTELi was staying at. So I called the restaurant directly and they said they deliver directly. I ordered, the food was delivered TO MY ROOM, HOT AND DELICIOUS. I’ll never order out from another Chinese Restaurant in this area again. I suggest you try them also.“

“Went there for lunch and ordered a sesame chicken meal and paid about $10, but boy was it worth it! The food was good and the meal came with an egg roll plus pork fried rice and really filled me up. 10/10 would definitely eat here again.

“This is such a gem! Feels like eating at grandparents’ house. Everyone is so caring and friendly. Make sure you order the traditional Taiwanese food - this is the real deal here. Everything was good - so many things they make in the house properly - fish balls, shrimp rolls, sausage etc. they even have organic dishes. You can taste the care they put into making the food. The basil beef was pretty decent, with enough basil and flavors, although my medium spice was more mild, but that is very subjective at each restaurant. If it was more local, yes, I would probably have this as my std place. But with a 20-minute drive, I can go elsewhere.“

“Mr. Chu has been my family's go to for Chinese food for years. When they had the kitchen fire and the building was shut down, we thought that would be the end of Mr. Chu. We are so happy they have come back, and we have been there since their opening a couple of times already. The food was always outstanding and still is. The atmosphere is your typical Chinese restaurant attire. With the new paint and fixtures, it makes it appealing. I had the Shimp in Lobster sauce which did not disappoint. It was by far the best I have had in years. Even at some of the top-notch Chinese restaurants, the sauce is usually watery. Mr. Chu's had that perfect consistency you expect in lobster sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed my leftovers the next day. While my family and I do miss their homemade table noodles. When asked, we were told how time consuming they are to make. Once the staff gets to know you, you feel very welcomed. They are very attentive even while the restaurant is packed with patrons. If you want exceptional Chinese food, Mr. Chu's is the place to go.“
