“I was at first excited when Dao Madison moved into town and even more excited when I was told they can accommodate gluten free as I have celiac. After several miss steps with mixed up orders, Dao is now cooking on all cylinders. We recently were there with friends and everyone loved it. Moreover, they have successfully accommodated my need to eat gluten free (I have celiac) several times, and have been pro active in suggesting what is easier and safer to make gluten free. This place is a gem.“

“This Chinese restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was outstanding. The dumplings were delicate and filled with delicious fillings. The Sweet and Sour Pork was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right balance of sweet and sour flavors. The restaurant also pays attention to detail in presentation. The staff was extremely polite and efficient. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving delicious Chinese food.“

“My family and I come here all the time for large family gatherings. The food is absolutely phenomenal here, especially the pecking duck buns and sweet and sour pork. We also love the soy sea bass, crispy chicken, ginger scallion lobster, pork chops and corn egg drop soup. One time we brought them king crab legs to cook and they cooked all of our king crab legs to perfection!! I don’t usually write google reviews but this place is so special to me and my family and adore this spot. The service is so fast and attentive and they are kind enough to provide free dessert whether that be fresh oranges, fresh fruit or even sometimes sweet red bean soup! “I have lived in town for about 6 years. We found this restaurant online and gave it a try. We ordered the pineapple and chicken fried rice, a dish called Phoenix, and the General Tso's Shrimp. “Very good take-out Chinese food option for the area. Food is hot and cooked well, with a variety that is typical of Chinese take-out. We enjoyed their fried rice, orange chicken, and steamed chicken with broccoli. The fried dumplings were on the oily side, so we’ll probably get them steamed for our next order. Prices have remained reasonable over the years.“

“I was there earlier today with a group of friends for the Christmas special Bengali Food Festival. We were quite impressed by the menu selection. The food was not oily& spicy at all,hence even the kids enjoyed the food. The service was good. I wish the restaurant would be more spacious. Other than that I would highly recommend this place.“

The Chicken Broccoli is a solid go to with tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and a flavorful light brown sauce that isn’t overly salty. The chicken chow mein was delicious with lots of chicken and a wonderful sauce. The pork fried rice also was nicely prepared with excellent flavors. Then had the fried rice, braised duck with mixed vegetables, and pan-fried flounder. Delicious. The service was good and attentive, though quite pricey, especially the duck ( $38), and there wasn't much meat, just more vegetables. But the flounder was worth it, $32.95.“

“I’ve been ordering Chinese takeout back to living in Brooklyn for 20+ years. In almost all Chinese restaurant reviews, people always complain about delivery and how many shrimp they got. Just order pick up and don’t go to pricy places if u want to avoid being disappointed. I’ve bought from Madison Wok for 15 years now and never had a late order when ordering pick up here (usually 15 mins). The food tastes exactly as my local restaurant when I was a kid, so I can’t complain. For the price, consider how little you are paying for the amount of work and manpower going into it •• esp since it’s done so fast. Dao nearby has slightly less oil and flavor for a lot more money. I wanted to like it but just poor value since your deliver or pick up order price needs to support the wait staff. No American style Chinese food is healthy for you so stop thinking you’re doing something good by paying someone extra to do less oil, msg, etc. in summary, this is an old school place that gives you the standards for the least amount of money you’ll pay in this zip code. Not something to eat everyday, but when you need your fix for this kind of stuff. I recommend the pork dumplings, fried wings, curry chicken, wonton soup and any fried rice, plus the chow fun and generals chicken. My 3 kids never complain and no one has ever been sick. Sometimes I’m not crazy about the amount of meat but remember that I’m not paying $15 or $20 for a pint here, and the low prices are supporting a skeleton crew.“

“This place is really convenient in the middle of town between Summit and Chatham. They speak very good English and they’re not cheap with the meat that they put in the food. The food taste very delicious and the broccoli was really fresh and when you get beef and broccoli the beef is not chewy it is soft and has good flavor. Their egg drop soup is also very good. I was really disappointed by the other more expensive Chinese food places and the end of this place being the diamond of the town.“

“I just love going to Master Wok at Rockaway mall! It's a bit of a drive, about 25 minutes from my home, but let me tell you, the food is so good. My favorites are the Barbecue pork and the Chicken & Broccoli. They're simply delicious! You can get two meats with fried rice or lo mein for just $9.35. I've been a loyal customer of this Chinese food place since I was 16, and now that I'm 21, it's still my favorite place ever!“

When my family and I crave Chinese takeout, this is our go-to spot. Not only do they churn out large takeout orders in good time (our orders are typically quite large, and we've never had an issue in the thirty or so times we've ordered in the past), but it's always hot, well-seasoned, and well-prepared.

Our orders typically include a 'something-and-broccoli' dish, and they always manage to cook the broccoli to perfect tenderness. I'll also add that this is the only takeout place (ever) where I've actually liked the sesame chicken. In most places, it's either too sweet, mushy, or overly sauced; here, it's dependably delicious.

We especially love the combination plates on the menu, which offers certain entrees with a choice of fried rice or lo mein and a side of egg rolls.“
