“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“It's just ok as far as gelato goes. This is a chain and the gelato itself is just run of the mill. The ordering system is pretty efficient though and the gelato still tastes good it's just not so good that I want to keep going back. I'd go if I happened to be in the area because it's gelato!“

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

The richness and the flavor profiles were out of this world, especially the latter flavor of the two. It’s dangerous to know the Kroger store is only five minutes from my house. Surprisingly no line on a nice Friday at around 6pm.

Lots of great gelato flavors to choose from...as well as some hot and cold coffee options. I had a medium cup ($11) with three flavors....all of which were great.

Prices were on par...if not slightly higher...than other similar gelato places in the city.

Staff was friendly, patient and efficient.

I actually found them because they’re always driving around our neighborhood, and everyone gets excited when they hear that music coming down the street. So when it came time to book an ice cream truck, choosing Danny’s was a no-brainer. The service was super friendly, the ice cream was delicious, and the whole setup added such a fun vibe to our event. All of our guests, kids and adults loved it!
