“I wish I took a photo before I ate it. But, if you want something clean and delicious to eat for Korean food, this is THE spot to eat at out of the tri-state area. Usually Korean soup based foods tend to have either too much sodium and additives to make the flavor powerful, or not enough to bring the flavor out. Genuinely, you can NEVER go wrong with this place. I got 육개장 칼국수 (Spicy Beef Handmade Noodle Soup), and you can ask to see if you can add dumplings in the soup for extra.“

“The soup dumplings were good. Salt and pepper fish not what I expected, just Americanized, I guess that's ok, and the green curry was not a curry more of a dry pot. Overall it was ok. And it was cheap. If I lived closer I would go again but I would not travel for it. Service was great and the food was cheap.“

“Jade spoon is the absolute best Chinese food I've ever had. It's consistently good and no matter what did I get I'm satisfied. I drive here out of my way specifically for how good it is. The prices are also terrific and everything on the menu is a winner.“

“Was super excited to try some rolls tonight after a 12 hour work day, but unfortunately after 45 minutes of waiting patiently inside for them to be prepared they still were not ready and hadn’t even been started to be made. Staff not entirely apologetic. Asked for refund and won’t be back.“

“Excellent Northeastern Chinese food, (not like any from your typical Chinese restaurant.) A great variety of food, including home made dumplings, BBQ skewers, eggplants, pork, beef, packed with flavor and spice . All the dishes were served hot and well prepared. The owner/manager was very friendly, welcoming and made great recommendations. All 9 of us were extremely happy with our orders.“

“My family has enjoyed Nakahara for several years and it’s always fantastic. The fish is very fresh, the atmosphere is clean and cozy with gentle jazz in the background and the service is attentive and friendly. There are many sushi options in the area, but this is one of a kind!“

“The spicy ramen was amazing, the people were very kind to me, and I felt loved for the first time since my parents left me on the cold, Tony porch of the California fire station. It was thundering and raining and I crawled into miso for protection. They have raised ever since I am now Superman. This is my true origin story.“

“This was an impromptu idea for dinner. This is hands down the best Asian food I've had since living in LA! This can compete with any restaurant in Manhattan! And the prices are so low! I can't wait to come back!!“

“This is a nice little noodle shop in the middle of the Bronx. They do not have a wide selection on their menu but what they do have is pretty good. They do have clear vegetarian options. Although I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here, if I was in the area, I'd stop by again“

“I am so so with Chinese food. Usually picky and really don't like many places. I LOVE their General Tso's chicken!! I mean LOVE it!! We now do a Chinese food night 1x a week just because I NEED this dish in my life!! Their pork fried rice is not greasy and soggy. Also their fried cheese wontons are awesome. Again.....not greasy which is a tough one! Very happy I found this place completely randomly!“

“Inside the Hackensack Hmart is a food court. And inside that food court is this humble little food stall, where I go whenever the craving for a bowl of Korean black bean noodles hits. Jjajangmyun is a popular Korean-Chinese dish made from black bean paste, meat, and diced vegetables. When I'm suddenly fixin' for that slurpy bowl of saucy noodles, this is where I come.
Why? Because it's close to my commute, it's quick and casual, reasonably priced, and consistently good. As an added bonus, there are lots of other offerings in the food court in case my eating mate didn't want to eat the same thing.
Ordering is simple. Go to the counter, place your order, and they'll give you a receipt with a number. If you find seats nearby, there's a little screen at the stall that tells you when your order is ready for pickup. If you end up sitting far away, don't fret. There's an automated loudspeaker that clearly calls out stalls and ready order numbers.
My go-to order here is (of course) the jjajangyun. The menu offers a small variety - regular (with meat and veggies), uni, and spicy. Spice lovers, you're going to love the spicy jjajangmyun (#4 on the menu). The jjajang sauce is also delicious on rice, and I've loved the shrimp fried rice with it.
Serving sizes are decent, and it comes with the tiniest cup of yellow pickled radishes (a standard condiment for this dish).“

“Amazing food! My husband and I stopped by for Friday night dinner. We tried the fried calamari, Pad Kana Moo Grob (Sautéed crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli in garlic sauce.), Pork Chops Vegetable Garlic Sauce, crab fried rice and for dessert, the mango coconut sticky rice. All of it was just delicious! Highly recommend coming to try. Plus: BYOB“
