The prices were on the higher side but not over the top. But sitting outside worked perfectly, for a girls night.

The bartender knows what he's doing with the cocktails, the food was amazing, & our waiter was great - honestly, no complaints.

In particular we were really looking forward to trying the calamari but it seems like several of the items are seasonal, oysters Rockefeller was also not available. The fried calamari was even on menu photos from a month ago, but not available when we went.

That being said the food was pretty good overall, good vibe, service was also great and food came quickly.

Great place for the date night or to impress from out of town friends. Small, intimate, perfectly moody.

Cocktails are to die for and the bartenders are so friendly. For old fashion fans, you MUST try “the smokem’ if you gottem”absolutely delicious.

If you don’t know what to try, dealers choice is always worth the dice roll.

The Junto opens at 6, but I would advise you to arrive 15 minutes early, there is always a line and it is first come first serve….for a good reason.“

“Was a bar hopping night and honestly this bar was the highlight of the night. I noticed all the people below were complaining, but honestly if you don't feel comfortable going to a dive bar then don't go.The places atmosphere from the beginning was amazing. The service was top tier and great, honestly all the people (Including the bartender) were on point. The crowd was there to have fun and party. Honestly met a lot of dope people too while there. Planning on going back there ASAP this weekend or the following. May become the main bar of my hops.Again this bar is mainly a standing bar, so don't expect to sit down. Don't complain either. “We are BEYOND ECSTATIC with our wedding cake and all other pastries and desserts provided by Calandra’s Bakery! No other bakery bakes your cake at 3:00AM the day of your wedding and it shows! Super fresh moist and SUPER DELICIOUS! Every guests commented about the spectacular presentation…simple yet elegant carrying our live orchid theme with LIFELIKE piped orchid petals cascading down each layer! What a joy to have such an unforgettable and memorable experience of knowing our family and friends will remember our wedding cake as much as we will! She then proceeded to take us through the endless design options available and helped us tweak every little detail until alas our vision for the PERFECT wedding cake had come to life! Mind you we did this unannounced but Aisha couldn’t have been more cordial personable professional and most of all friendly! We left SO elated to leave having one of the most important wedding checkboxes checked and feeling we just had welcomed a new family member into the fold! “Wow! Had an outstanding night at the Roxy and I think it’s been my best bite in JC.

Service was incredible, friendly, and attentive. We did go at an off peak time, so we got extra special service. However, I think at any time the service would be top notch.

The cocktails were excellent. Extremely balanced, delicious and amazingly seasonal.

The food was soooo good. I had the short rib special and I highly recommend it while it’s available. Absolutely delicious and the best short rib dish I’ve had.

Our server, John, was incredibly friendly, explained all the specials, and gave great recommendations. He had a wonderful sense of humor too! The best time to go is at around 3:00. The restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived and we were seated immediately.
As soon as we ordered our food, it was on our table within 7 minutes.
Our waiter was very kind!
I highly recommend the Rainbow roll and the Kinya Ramen bowl.
The serving sizes are large and more than enough for one person.
My boyfriend and I plan to return for the excellent food and upstanding service.

“FIRST OF ALL this came highly recommended by a friend of mine and now I highly recommend it.
The Tamarind Margarita is remarkable and as a Private Chef , I mean that! The tikka masala with Lamb met me with satisfaction I have not experienced before BECAUSE every piece of lamb was tender and cooked with care not to mention THAT SAUCE!!!!! hits different and worth swallowing. The basmati rice not a favorite of mine because too “Shelly” BUT THIS BASMATI surprised me with Ever so moist plump grains worth eating. Try the fried momos - just lovely!
Last but not least, the rasmalai is the creamiest river of Indian ambrosia from the deities I swear!
I left out 1 star because of the scan method which is a bother to me but that’s just me. Other than that fly trough the holland tunnel as soon as you can to EMPYREAN INDIAN KITCHEN- is a must!
