Prices & portions were fair. The whole vibe of the area was low-key & pleasant with the dog-friendly patio, next door local shops, and other patrons. If these Wisconsintes find ourselves in Jersey City again, we will absolutely make a dedicated return to the Wurstbar!“

“Decided to come around noon to try their 8.95 breakfast special and was helped by Allen. He was pleasant and respectful. The store is clean, bright and breezy during the day and makes you forget about how dirty grove street area is! The burrito was filling and came with crispy home fries AND they offered free coffee which was decent! They even had oat milk. You really can’t beat the price especially in this area“

Me and my friends from the Northern New Jersey Buffalo Bills Backers are extremely grateful we landed here to watch our weekly games. They have gone out of their way to make every weekend more enjoyable than the last with accommodating the volume of guest we have visiting in, allowing us to play our music and SHOUT song, curating a Special Bills menu and joining us in on the celebration. Their cocktails are creative and their food is delicious, my favorite being the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich, fried pickles and espresso martinis. Their outdoor seating with a beautiful fire pit and TV's to watch outside is the best addition. The owner, manager and staff are so kind and I love how much they enjoy the games as much as we do. I highly recommend this spot not just for the sports aspect, but for a night out with your friends or loved ones. Extremely family/kid friendly and spacious. “I had a great experience. This was my second time visiting the restaurant. The first was for lunch, where I had a fantastic meal. This time, I brought the whole family —my in-laws, kids, and a couple of friends —and we had a blast. Service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Truly a gem in Montclair. The atmosphere was great, too, thanks to the restaurant's design and spaciousness. I'm not sure if it's my age, but sitting in cramped spaces with tables and people right next to me and servers bumping into my chair every 30 seconds isn't the experience I'm looking for anymore. Allegory provides you with the complete opposite experience, with comfortable, spacious seating. This is my new go-to spot. Can't wait to check out the dinner option. I'm sure it's going to be awesome.“

“I took my daughter there on 4/8/25 for her birthday omg it was an awesome experience,the food was exceptionally good and it was alot our server was mannerly, helpful, patient and polite.the ambience was good and the other guest was friendly, they even sang my daughter happy birthday.
