“Ordered via GrubHub for a late Friday night dinner when the sushi craving hit. I ordered a tuna bowl, and hubby had a salmon bowl. All of the sushi bar bowls come with edamame, miso soup, seaweed salad, kani salad, regular salad (in this case, it was arugula), and avocado. The fish came in huge chunks, lightly marinaded, and tasted fresh. No complaints. I’d order again and try some actual rolls next time. I saw on their menu a pretty good deal for lunch - $12.50 for three regular rolls, so I’ll have to check that out.“

“Sushi and food is pretty good overall but the service at this place is really hit or miss. There are two (I believe) revolving servers/people who answer the phone. The younger server is very polite and friendly. However the other is incredibly rude, on the phone, and in person. I ordered from this place very often in the past but I will no longer be ordering from here. His attitude makes it not worth it for me. Overall if you’re just looking for good sushi this place is fine, but don’t expect good service.“

“I had such a great experience at Domo Domo! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the whole experience was made even better by the amazing service. Joana was incredible, she was friendly, attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. You can really tell when someone genuinely cares about their customers, and Joana definitely made us feel taken care of.

“Definitely one of the most overwhelming and beautiful places that I’ve ever been to try sushi in my whole life, there’s no way to describe how good it was.
We wait a little more of what we expected.
But wait was worth it food was fresh, homemade and delicious, attention it’s def a 1000/10 you feel that you’re in your home, my 5yo daughter mentioned that she was being treated like her grandma treat her (so you can have an idea of how good they were) well, not many words to add.

“Since they opened, they have been consistently excellent. I truly hope they're around for many years to come. I've eaten here at least 20–30 times, and the sushi is always fresh. The rolls are well made, with just the right balance of ingredients, not overloaded with rice like you find at some other sushi restaurants.

I've tried the spicy tuna roll, salmon roll, avocado roll, and the ramen, and they have yet to disappoint. I'm wishing them continued success because they've earned it.

I gave them three stars for the atmosphere only because of the bright, white lighting. It reminds me of the lights in a dentist's office. While the restaurant is clean and inviting, I personally prefer warmer lighting to create a cozier dining experience.

One more thing really stood out to me. One evening I called to place an order, but no one answered. I called a second time and assumed they must be closed. About two minutes later, they called me back! 😀 Thanks to that, I got to enjoy sushi that night.

“Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and was so impressed by the food! Tried a variety of chicken, pork belly and steak skewers and everything was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. Chicken oyster and pork belly were definitely the highlights. The owner was also so friendly and even gave us some samples to try for free. Took us back to the yakitori we had in Japan. Will definitely be back!“

“We've been meaning to to try so many of the new restaurants in the area. We finally got here for a late lunch today. Not surprisingly on a Thursday at 2PM and snowing, we had the place to ourselves. It was fortunate because the woman who took care of us explained everything to us in detail. I wasn't familiar with the Kurobuta pork. Apparently it's known as the, "Kobe beef of pork." All their pork come from Berkshire pigs. They come from a farm in Jersey. I'm guessing North Jersey. (Lot's of cool info if you Google them) Cooking is done using White charcoal which is used in traditional Japanese cooking. We started with the crispy cauliflower. It had crispy shallots & tahini vinegarette on them. They were delicious! Then the Shanghai bao. Filling was pork. (naturally) So delicious and juicy! When you slice them in half watch for the juice to squirt! We ordered six skewers. Two with pork jowel (cheek) Two regular pork and two fish. Again, delicious. i also had a bowl of spicy miso ramen. Our server explained how the broth is simmered for eight hours with pig bones and marrow. I could tell as the broth was very rich! That was it for us. We were both very full and i even took half of my ramen. We can't wait to return and bring friends! Highly recommend! ✌️“

“This is our local go-to for sushi and hibachi. The food is excellent, staff is friendly and efficient. We mostly order to go, but the restaurant itself is small but cozy with tables and a sushi bar. I'll also add that, in 7 years of ordering from them, they have not gotten a single item on any order wrong. Definitely worth trying.“

“food was amazing. served at relatively quick speed. apps usually come in pairs, so if you're a party of three, don't expect three pieces (just two). sushi/specialty rolls came in 5-8 as it's listed in the menu. soy rolls they add a dollar though per roll (or sushi, i forgot), be careful. they do have a waste policy on their sign, i forgot what it was. i had some soup spilled on me as they attempted to serve it, and they didn't always notice our papers were done already, but not end of the world stuff. the food taste made up for it! it's about mid $30s on a saturday buffet in the late afternoon/early evening. bill is paid by those electronic machines they bring to your face at your table. bathroom is upstairs. water is served in paper cups. i saw another group and ourself seemed to have to manually ask for water refills otherwise. ice cream options at the day were just green tea and strawberry (which wasn't even listed in the menu) but i loved the strawberry. i would come back here.“

I also got the green salad with ginger dressing, which tasted so fresh and flavorful. The shrimp shumai were honestly addictive. They also included veggie gyoza and miso soup on the house, and both were delicious as well. Everything tasted fresh and well made, and I will definitely be returning to Kame Sushi.“

In particular, the waitress with the slicked-back hair has a way of elevating every visit; she’s made several special occasions truly memorable. The restaurant is almost always busy, and for good reason. Because seating can be difficult to secure, I strongly recommend making an RSVP ahead of time. Even with the constant flow of guests, the experience never feels rushed. The master sushi chef is actively engaged with diners, adding an extra touch of authenticity and hospitality to the meal. “Called and ordered chicken hibachi, which comes with a free soda and had a ~15 min wait as they cook it fresh. The food is tasty, especially the chicken but the fried rice seemed like it was drenched it teriyaki sauce which made it kinda salty and over bearing. My suggestion to the cook would be to put less or omit it and put it on the side or something. Ill come back to try again and ask them to do that and update my review.“

“We arrived at the restaurant and they proceeded a seat us next to a table of family with toddler children. The entire restaurant was still empty. We all felt that was a little bit weird. Anyone that arrives with children should have great service, but maybe they should put them in a more secluded area. Most of the food was rated pretty good except for the sushi tuna roll which had a lot of fatty grizzle in it. And that was very unusual cuz I've never had that in a spicy tuna roll before. I don't know if I would order any of the rolls. We stayed mostly with the appetizers which were very filling. Definitely will try it again. The tuna Pizza was exceptional.“

“I tried the Shio ramen and it was pretty good, not my favorite but the real star of the show was the beef donburi. It was so flavorful and id come back just for that alone. Ever since then me and my aunt order the pork buns through uber eats. Amazing service, highly recommend.“
