She even ordered the monster trucks herself to make my son's cake vision come to life! and let me tell you, a monster truck crashing into the cake is about as cool as it gets for a 5-year-old boy. 🛞💥🎂 My son was obsessed! And the Funfetti cupcakes? Oh. My. Gosh. SO moist, so yummy, and they disappeared faster than I could grab one for myself 😂. “Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. I ordered a cappuccino(or maybe a latte, I can't remember) and the #5 breakfast caprese. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! Coffee drink had cinnamon added which was an extra sieve all touch. And they brought both to my table. It was a bit in the pricier side but the portions and food quality made it worth it. “From price quote, to cake pickup, to eating I had a phenomenal experience. I splurged for my 30th birthday for a custom cake. La Bon was affordable for what I wanted which was amazing. Their staff was incredibly sweet, professional, and all around pleasant. And the cake? Oh my God. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. I provided a reference photo and the result was an exact match. Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. It was decadent but not too sweet (especially with black frosting, I was pleasantly surprised), perfectly piped frosting, and perfectly light and flavorful strawberries and cream filling. “I ordered a Baked Bouquet for my grandma’s 99th birthday and it was a huge hit! When we brought it out, everyone genuinely thought it was a real flower arrangement — the detail was unbelievable. People were actually hesitant to eat it because it looked so pretty!

“Had a catering order. Placed the order a week in advance. The morning if pickup, the order states that it was ready when it was not. Got to the store and told them i was there for a catering pickup. No one said anything and they started to scramble to package everything. We paid extra to get the cookies in individual boxes. Upon getting the order noticed that nothing was in individual boxes. Now I have to scramble before an event to package these things. Do not get a large order from here.

Edit: cookies were delicious and we still had to make the boxes and pack the cookies ourselves the morning of our event but the store did right by us and gave us a refund.“
