“We were staying at the Tarrytown house estate and decided to visit Goosefeather for dinner, not having any idea about the restaurant other than that it was located on-site. As Chinese-style martial artists, we were pleasantly surprised to see the Cantonese -fusion menu options as we walked in. Unfortunately, we did not have reservations, but we were able to sit at the bar. What an auspicious turn of luck! The bar offers not only the full menu, but the chance to watch professionals at their craft. We were taken care of by Mariana and Sara, who were busy yet still highly attentive. They were very knowledgeable about the menu, and explained everything even before our questions had a habce to leave our lips. We started with some standard drinks (a spicy martini, and one of their mocktails with Ron Zacapa rum added in). Solid pours, balancing the flavors of the drinks with adequate alcohol to keep things fun). Next week ordered the spicy rice cakes and the potstickers. Each was perfectly done. The potstickers were crispy but not burnt, and paired with a just-right spicy Chinese mustard. There were four per serving, which served to whet out appetites while leaving us waiting for more. Next, we got the spicy rice cakes. These were just hot enough to let the tongue know, but the spice built pleasantly. The plate was pretty big, and the two of us had more than one or two helpings each. Finally, we had the Crying Tiger Tuna. The lightly seared and seasoned tuna was paired with avocado salad, pickled gooseberries, and sweet goji berries. Delicious! To cap it off, we switched up our drinks for two of their signature cocktails. Sweet emotion is a pumpkin espresso martini with a smoky bubble of deliciousness in top. Love in an Elevator is a wild rum ride of flavors I'd never think to blend, such as apricot, chocolate, and lemon. Overall, while pricey, the experience, the food, and the atmosphere made it worth it! As a bonus, we were watched over by a really cool portrait of Bruce Lee!“

“Our go to Chinese food restaurant. We used to do uber eats, but found that going to pick up is so much less expensive and they are so close to us. Great food and the people there are really nice and trustworthy. Once they made my non-spicy food spicy and told me that next time they would put it in for free. Liked the chicken lomein, requested easy sauce since Chinese food can be salty/ soysauce dark/ red spicy which didn't prefer. “Me and the fellas from Cruz Control Auto Body, right around the corner on 49 Fullerton Ave, came here for lunch and we were seriously impressed. The lady taking our order was super friendly, patient, and made sure everything came out just right.

The food came out super fast and was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. I had the chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce and some crispy sesame chicken, and both were spot on perfectly cooked and packed with that authentic taste you want from a good Chinese spot.
