“I wasn't going to share this place with anyone because I don't want it to get crowded but I have to bc I love it so much. Presenting my new watering hole in Bergen! The location is where the old 21 used to be, on the top floor of the Son Jjajang building. Great happy hour everyday 4-8!! It's a steal considering how good the food is. Happy hour all types of soju are $8.99 and beers are cheap too. All the big dishes on the happy hour menu are between $14-$18 and I think the portion sizes are the same! I have yet to try something that I don't love on the menu. Their: Cheese buldak (fire chicken w/ mozzarella cheese.. ask for medium spicy if you can't do heat!) Jogae sujebi (Korean version of.. gnocchi? in clam broth..I always order another side of sujebi) Donkatsu (breaded & fried pork cutlet) Tofu & kimchi Ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes... I usually ask for cheese on this also lol) Tong dak (whole fried chicken) Gaeran mari (Korean cheese omlette w/ fried garlic on top) Budae jjigae (Korean army soup, goes great with soju!) and weirdly enough their giant plate of FRIES (idk what they do to those fries they're just fries but they're so good lol) are among some of my favorites. However, the food tends to be on the spicier side which isn't an issue for me, but if you can't handle too much spice be sure to tell your waiter. I can't say enough about how good the food is. The chef apparently refuses to use anything but the best ingredients and it shows in the taste of the food. Portions are big too! Obviously I eat here a lot... lol Oh and the servers and manager are all so nice!! One time we had a big party of 10 but they didn't have space so they put us in their only karaoke room in the back. We wanted to watch the US Open but we couldn't figure out the TV in the room so the manager found an HDMI cable and hooked his own cellphone up to it so we could watch. How sweet?!! At the moment they only serve soju and beer but I have been told that they will start offering liquor soon :) Like I said, I don't want this place to get crowded but they deserve the business with food and service like this. I hope they stick around and become a new staple in Pal Park! PS. The menu is entirely in Korean so bring a friend who is fluent or ask the waiters for suggestions! I will definitely have to mention to them that they should make an English version of their menu. Will be back with pictures later!“

“For a good night out with the girls, your own private room , you can sing as loud as you want! It's clean and updated. The host, he was very nice and gave us complimentary food. The drinks were strong and good. Will definitely return again. 감사합니다“

“The soy fried chicken and sweet/spicy chicken is so good! We got the regular tteokbokki and I like it better than a lot of the bunsik places on Broad Avenue! The service was a little off tbh, but the vibes and food were great! The liquor store is connected so you can buy your alcohol from the liquor store, no extra charge.“

“Stopped in here recently after traveling into town to see a terminally ill family member. After the heavy stuff, I was looking for a place to watch the hockey game and have a couple drinks. Wasn’t looking for anything trendy or overcrowded, just a laid back vibe. Based on pictures and reviews I headed out here. Could not have been happier with the choice. The bartender, Anthony, was very attentive and the drinks were made right at a good price. Highly recommend for a chill experience.“
