“I love the food here. But i went there tonight around 730 and it was frigid outside. Just as we were sitting down to eat our food the worker decided to open the doors to carry all the outdoor furniture in then kept them open while he changed trash outside too. Not a care in the world for how freezing it was for his customers. It was extremely disappointing. We drive like 25 minutes to eat here. May be a while before we do that again.“

“Definitely the best Pho joint in Philly. This is one of the Pho 75 mini-chain restaurants starting in DC & Northern VA area (7 corners). Solid broth, chewy noodles and loads of different cut of meats. Add-on prices are also reasonable ($2.5 for meatballs as an example). Service is just meh... but you don't come here for service....“

“I've been here a few times this month, the food is AMAZING. The crispy fried noodles are incredible, they're so crispy and flavorful. The pho is also delicious, warm and comforting! I don't know what they do to the Bahn Mi, but the flavors are incredibly well balanced, savory, sweet, and crisp. Highly recommend this place, it's becoming on of our regular favorites!“

Pure comfort in every sip and bite. Cash only and plenty of time parking. Use the lot that is near by as it is free for 2 hours. They also have a restroom.“

“My favorite Vietnamese restaurant currently because there are so many good options here. Bún bò is a must try. It smells really good and the broth is very well-seasoned. The taste is very different from the bbh at other places. Another must try is bún mắm. Although they only have cabbage and lettuce and not the typical veggie that comes with bún mắm, it is still very good. You get roasted pork, fish, shrimp, and squid. Mì vịt tiềm and hủ tiếu khô are also delicious. The meat in bún chả is tender and well seasoned, but the noodle is not that good, a bit overcooked. Also the bowl is really small so it is hard to eat. Although it is called phở cyclo, but phở here is meh. The wait time can sometimes be long and it's a pretty small place.“

“This spot absolutely rules. They have the best tofu bahn mi in South Philly (spongy on the inside and crispy on the outside). Authentic as you can get and they’re very kind and quick with service. Tiny inside if you plan to sit in but they do have tables and do take out. Highly recommend!“

“seems like a family owned restaurant! I’ve never had chicken pho before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the broth was fairly similar to beef pho but cleaner. Their pho bowls are one size only, but it is very large. We got two bowls of plain pho with 1/2 chicken the first time we went, and our total was about $40-$50. 1/2 chicken was definitely a lot for two people, so we ended up getting 1/4 chicken today (total of $27) and it was the perfect portion. They serve cold tea, which was very nice and refreshing. Parking is difficult to find on weekends, but the lot is generally empty on weekdays.“

“This food is some of the best food in Philly. Arguably the best and most authentic Vietnamese food in the whole city. My boyfriend and I have been eating here for years, and the food is consistent in always being delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The menu is small, focused, and the drinks are always amazing and pair well with the food.

“Everything from the bahn mi to the wings are absolutely amazing, the workers at the shop are always delightful, especially the owner Lynh and her family that will sometimes her run the counter. We go out of our way regularly to come and see them, especially when their truck is set up at the Wissahickon Brewery! “Nam Phuong is definitely a go too for traditional Vietnamese comfort food and many choices to pick from with their extensive menu. We opted for the family dinner of 4. This is the best options that includes appetizers, various options of fish, beef, soup and dessert. The clay pot fish and lotus salad is so good. Service is quick and friendly. They have so many waiters ready to refill your water and take away empty plate. They keep an eye on your rice too in case you need more. Only complaint is the restroom. It needs to be clean daily and ensure no foul smell. Warning, you will lose your appetite if you use the restroom then return to the tables. Overall good dining options around Washington Ave. Food is ok and nothing fancy. Price is fair.“

“I just ordered from UberEats and the food was amazing!! I ordered the Shrimp Pho and the Grilled Shrimp with BBQ Pork Vermicelli. Everything was so fresh and goooood!!!! The presentation was appetizing and the portions were huge. My only complaint is, as you can see in the picture, I only got 2 shrimps with the Vermicelli. Overall, still pleased with my order. “I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

We’ve tried a good amount of dishes but the ones we recommend are: Banh Canh soup noodle, Mi Quang, Banh Tam Bi, and the Banh Mi with Cha siu. All are very solid choices. The food is authentic, and prices are reasonable. Also the owner is super friendly we love it here.TDLR: It feels like your Asian mom or dad made you a delicious home cooked meal. Would recommend.“

“Just finished a bowl of beef shoulder for and a side of extra noodles. It was so wonderful. The broth in the pho was really flavorful and aromatic. The noodles will cook perfectly as well as the meat. This is definitely a place you should stop off for.“

The broth was thin and had almost no flavor however. Some people may prefer less flavor, but I prefer more 1/3.“
