The manager greeted at the ordering station and didnt overwhelm me to order my food as this was the first time being there. He asked me if id like any suggestions and we landed on the chicken platter with spicy chickpeas rice and cole slaw. Everything about this bowl was immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. First off, it was a dinner date for me (an overwhelming majority of people dininig were on dates). The prices were excellent and the portions were great. I ordered Chicken Korma with Basmati rice, regular Naan bread and a Mango Lassi. The chicken was very tender, the sauce was creamy, delicious and not spicy. The Naan was good. I loved the Lassi. I had leftovers. I will definitely be returning. I am Puerto Rican and grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Growing up here there were no Indian restaurants. So happy to see more Indian restaurants now. Every bite of the Lahmajun was a delightful journey of taste, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
