“In my continued quest to find a New York style Chinese restaurant, based on recommendations from neighbors, I tried this restaurant. I ordered online at their website which was fairly easy to do. Being a bargain hunter I couldn’t resist the family dinner for six. It came with six egg rolls, six chicken on sticks, six cheese wontons, 2 quarts of soup, two quarts of fried rice, and choice of three entrees. It came with all of the appropriate sauces, crispy noodles, etc. The delivery was promised in 55 minutes and the food arrived exactly on-time. The egg rolls were crispy and very good. The chicken on the stick was very moist and tasty. The wonton soup was tasty and very traditional. The cheese wontons were a very nice starter and the dipping sauce added nice sweetness. For entrees we had sesame chicken which got a thumbs up from my wife. I ordered roast pork lo mein which was also a thumb up. I struggled deciding on a third entree and finally gave in to honey chicken (not my personal favorite because of the thick coating batter). Overall, a very competent dinner. I’m glad the food was really good because we’ll be eating the leftovers for many days!“

“I was looking online for a Chinese food place with great reviews when I first heard of Bamboo House. It’s only been a few times that I’ve been able to stop in since I don’t live close, but whenever I’m in Ridgewood, I like to get something to eat here. It’s tough to find a truly great Chinese restaurant & this place lives up to the hype. The portions are generous, the dishes are saucy & flavorful & fresh. What really seals the deal for me though is the service; they are kind & friendly in a warm, sincere way. Bamboo House has been in business for a long time, for good reason. 10/10“

“From Wanaque and come up every now and then to Warwick because it is a gorgeous place with an awesome downtown. When I tell you this is the best Chinese food I have had in a LONG time, I mean it! I have tried many places by me and none of them were as amazing as Long Spring.First off, I walked in expecting to just have takeout and find someplace to eat outside or take it home. I am an indecisive person and while a large menu could challenge that, the woman working the place came out and helped me narrow down my options without me even asking she was such a kind soul, and all of the people working in the kitchen were wonderful--funny as well! My partner and I ended up eating in because they had indoor seating, and these people came and brought our food out on PLATES! I was stunned and expected to eat from a takeout container (which would have been perfectly okay too). We ordered pork fried rice, chicken chow fun, and something in garlic sauce (I can't remember my partner's meal off the top of my head). That fried rice was AMAZING. We also got fortune cookies and they had candy at the front for us to take.An incredible experience and one I will most definitely return to as soon as I can! “One of our favorite sushi spots in NJ!! They use environmentally sustainable packaging and almost always give us something “on the house” usually either some crab Rangoon, or a few extra pieces of different kinds of sushi to try.
They recently took their sweet and sour chicken off the menu which was a bummer since it was sooo good and crispy, but it got my picky eater to branch out and try sushi and he ended up loving it! Hands down the most bang for your buck sushi spot in the area. I would order takeout from here every night if I could! Can’t rave about Epoch enough!“

“Best best best. I have given gift cards to 3 or 4 friends in WM (where we never had good food) and this place is so much like China Town NYC. Whoever said it's not hot? It's hot a half hour later, trust me we live a half hour away, piping hot. I have never one time in 100's of time had a bad meal here. Especially love their soups, Ginger Chicken, General Tao, sometimes the boneless ribs are too chewy, but if you ask for them tender and well done, they do that. The soups might be a bit expensive but all else to me, is well deserved and fairly paid.“

“As many regulars of this wonderful Pompton Lakes spot know, on April 17th they had a serious fire causing the closing the business indefinitely. An incredible loss to Pompton Lakes and the many customers who called Golden Garden their regular place. I did for well over 10 years. Please keep the two wonderful ladies, if you are a regular you know who I mean, in your thoughts as they and their families chart a course forward and eventually come back from this devastating loss. I know Golden Garden and the people that worked so hard will be sorely missed by so many in Pompton Lakes. It's a very sad moment deleting this one from my speed dial. Dan S.“

“Best Chinese food since moving from city“

“Food is delicious, fresh and hot every time. The food is definitely made in clean pans and oil and the taste reflects that. Not overly salty. We’ve ordered Lo mein, steamed dumplings, chicken with garlic sauce, general tsos chicken, chicken with broccoli and pork fried rice. Five star review every time, this is our third time ordering and the new Chinese place for us in the indefinite future. Fast delivery usually. I recommend Calling them versus using seamless app. Nice customer service taking order over the phone.“

“The best Chinese food in the Warwick area and we have tried others, it was clean and the staff was polite.. I could tell from the taste that the oil is clean and not old. Soup was flavorful. Wontons were full. Shrimp toast was full and not oily as were the spring rolls and lo mein. We enjoyed the shrimp and scallops in garlic sauce. So tasty! I think we finally found a good Chinese food take out restaurant. Will definitely come back.“

“I ordered from Hunan Garden for the first time. I ordered the fried chicken wings which were absolutely delicious and they were huge! Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! I also ordered beef egg foo young which was also absolutely delicious! The only thing I didn't like about the egg foo young is they put the gravy in it instead of on the side. Just note to self for next time to tell them to separate them. But all in all, excellent food! I'll order from them again!“

It is Americanized Chinese food, and I have been to China. Now for Amer. Chinese food, the scallion pancakes were bad, doughy not crunchy at all, a 1 star. The basil beef was pretty decent, with enough basil and flavors, although my medium spice was more mild, but that is very subjective at each restaurant. The important thing is that the base dish was flavorful, a 3.5 to 4 star. HnS soup was a 3 star. Pretty std for American Chinese HnS soup. Important question: Would I go back? If it was more local, yes, I would probably have this as my std place. But with a 20-minute drive, I can go elsewhere.“
