“First time visiting this ice cream shop! They have very good ice cream. A good place to go for different flavors. We were very excited to know they had ube flavor! We also ordered to go and they offered to hold the ice cream in the freezer so it didn’t melt.

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“I tried two flavors: the Dominican Vanilla + Coconut. It was AMAZING.The place is clean. Staff is friendly.The two (2) complaints that take away a star:Definitely coming back here, but not as often as I would like, because it’s kinda pricey. $30 for two (2) scoops on a cone; and 2 midsized cups.Employees need to wear restaurant caps to cover their heads when serving; specially while styling long/braided hair. I mean: I don’t want that stuff on my food.Kindly work on those, and I would consider adding the 5th STAR.“

Suggestion from my wife is when you get the chocolate chip cookie dough, you don't necessarily have to add the brownie bites because it's so rich. But definitely go with the whipped cream as well!“

“Mr. Moo's Ice Cream Cafe has such a hapoy vibe with many flavors of ice cream and sorbet. If you love coffee, the coffee ice cream is for you. The sweet cream flavor is also really nice. The man there was very nice and friendly and let you try flavors. Also, you get to choose toppings based on how many scoops you get. Any special thing about this place is that you get to mix flavors together. Overall, my family loved this place and will definitely come back. Really recommend to others.“

“Awesome place! Went here for a scoop with a couple coworkers after a hard day at work. I really appreciated their prices, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better deal. The kiddie scoop was three bucks, whether you got hard scoop or soft serve. I got coffee hard scoop. Most places have a surcharge for hard scoop, but this place doesn’t. I appreciate that kind of honest pricing. There are tables to sit at that are shaded and service was good. Coworker got their version of a blizzard and said it was really good. This place keeps it simple and does ice cream well.“

“Cute little ice cream store in downtown Hastings-on-Hudson. Visited on July 4th just before closing. I tried the lavender truffle and the BF tried the dark chocolate coconut (vegan) - both very good. There were a few tables in a back room to sit at, a table and window benches up front and a couple of benches outside. The service was not great, but it was the end of a holiday day and I'm sure they were trying to get out of there to try to enjoy the rest of the evening.“

“The most amazing experience ever. Can’t say enough. Both Mary and Philip are the sweetest and were absolutely a pleasure to work with. I had a Valentine’s event on feb15th which needed to be rescheduled to the 22nd and I canceled the order last minute for 30 boxes of chocolate covered strawberries. They didn’t charge me a single cent. I got the same order for the following week and they did an absolutely amazing job. The BEST CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES EVER!!!! “Excellent Carvel store, they offer so many options for ice cream cakes - all readily available. They also take custom orders if you want a special design or specific image printed on the cake. Service is fast and seating area is clean. Also has a small outdoor area right up front. Seems to be a popular spot as there is usually a line the times I have gone but the line moves quickly. Highly recommend for a quick scoop or ready made cake“

We take the kids there several times this summer, the choices for flavors are all delicious and tasty, we tried almost every flavor over the time that we have been going there, but the treat that stands out for me is the Dasher with Heath bar pieces; for my kids, they love Birthday Cake and either Cookie Dough or Cake Mix. Parking is a bummer, but we pull into McDonald's and run over to Carvel, the service is so quick that you are back in no time.“

“My four year old was adamant that he wanted a rocket ship ice cream cake for his birthday. I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I will always place cake orders with you guys!“
