“I was excited to get warm with soup after Pompton Lakes’ Holiday Stroll. I got the Hot Lemongrass Beef Pho. This is hands down the best pho I’ve had since leaving California. Boiling Pho is legit!! The noodles were chewy and not soggy. The beef brisket was so tender. The sliced beef was fresh. The broth was immaculate on a cold night and super flavorful. Nothing beats a good bowl of pho. I can’t wait to include this place in my weeknight dinner rotation! Thank you for the great food, atmosphere, and service!!“

What we did chose was cooked to perfection , the stuffed flounder for me and a pasta dish with scallops & shrimp for my hubby, we thoroughly enjoyed them. I ordered a calamari to go, and the bartender (a super friendly guy) was fantastic. He was incredibly nice and even threw in a huge piece of bread—easily 10 inches long! “From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us like old friends and walked us right to our table — I instantly had a good feeling, and I was right. Our server was awesome — super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and was on top of everything all night.

The menu is classic Italian but with a twist — way more interesting than your standard North Jersey Italian spot. The ossobuco was fantastic (if I had to nitpick, I’d say the risotto could’ve used a touch less water and a heavier hand with the parm). The clams were fresh and baked to perfection, and my son devoured his ravioli. For dessert, the bread pudding was absolutely unreal — honestly worth the trip alone.

While I’d love to see a few more traditional Greek dishes on the menu given the name, everything we’ve tried has been excellent. The Brussels sprouts and sesame feta are absolute must-haves. Pass on the lemon potatoes, though.“

Spare ribs are the meaty,irregular shaped, crispy/charred, dark red chunks of juicy meat type. This vs the long rectangular strip type covered in sweet red sauce(which has its moments too)
