“Rudra Indian Bistro on Cedar Lane is authentic as it gets. We have been here so many times and will always keep coming back because the food is high quality, healthy, and very delicious. We always start with the House Salad which is a great way to begin your meal. The Tandoori chicken is so juicy and succulent, and the Lamb Korma is one of our favorites. I highly recommend Rudra Indian Bistro! One of the best restaurants of Teaneck...“

“this is a neighborhood restaurant for me. However, it most certainly is worth the drive from other parts of the County as it feels warm ( beautiful ambiance , down lighting) while feeling very homey. The owners supervise the superb food and are as friendly as can be. This translates to a complete experience. Tandori dishes are cooked the old-fashioned way with charcoal or wood( grandfathered in). The curries are great, the bar varied, and the naan superb. Everything tastes homemade, is made to order, and not part of a production line. Thank you again: my friends loved it and will be back again with their own families....“

“I’ve been twice this week to this nice, relaxing restaurant. I had Goa fish the first time and it was moist salmon in a mild curry. This time I went for the butter chicken which was creamy and flavorful. I also tried the lamb kabob appetizer. Both were very good and tasty.“

“We have been to Rudraks a few times and we love it! Food is so fresh and flavorful. The kebabs are delicious. The chicken dishes we tried are great along with some of the vegetarian options as well. Lots of the appetizers are delicious including tandoori mushrooms and vegetable fritters. The owners & staff are so kind and generous. We went for a birthday celebration and they brought out a slice of cake from Paris Baguette! So incredibly sweet of them. Absolutely recommend! Will be back again soon.“

“Wow! Walked in without a reservation on a busy Friday night and was treated very well. Delicious Palek Paneer and Lamb Biryani (with raita), and garlic naan, all for less than $60. The decor is nothing special but the service is fast, friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely returning!“

“First time I had Indian food was a few years ago in NC, and I was NOT impressed. We were up visiting my sister in Ridgewood and we went out for fathers day dinner at Tabla. We ordered a bunch of different appetizers and entrees and we shared them all. I was absolutely impressed. I totally enjoyed EVERY item. I especially liked the curry fish with coconut milk. The service was exceptional and very friendly, it was an entirely enjoyable experience. I heartily recommend this Indian Restaurant in Ridgewood, NJ.“

“This is a great spot for the people that are familiar with the Indian cuisine and are looking for a comfort food spot. Their chicken curry was really creamy and tasty and the meat was tender. Their waiter was really kind and patient with us but the food did take a little longer than we expected. Also when you come in to this restaurant you get a strong smell of their Indian spices and overall food which might throw away some people but definitely not me.“

“Dine-in if you can, it's worth it!
We walked in on a Wednesday evening & the restaurant was empty except another family, dining in. The restaurant is clean, modern & a minimalist design.
Ordering was easy, we ordered a variety of appetizers, curries, pizzas, desserts & drinks.
The Naan pizzas are my favorite, their curries are good too! Make sure you specify your spice level when ordering.
There is paid street parking, so make sure you bring coins / pay by the app. I believe after 4 or 6pm, parking becomes free. The staff is great, welcoming & very friendly. Do note that their food is 10x better when you dine in. I've ordered delivery many times, & dine in tastes so much better!
I can't wait to be back!“

“It's a vibey little spot, pretty cheap, definitely an interesting authentic feel. Dude spoke no english (totally ok) but was friendly and hooked me up as I pointed to stuff. Worth a stop in, not the best food i've ever had but solid. I'd go back if I needed a quick bite. $10 flat filled me up.“

“I went there Tuesday April 7th on my way to Costco. Someone from the Bronx told me about their delicious food a while ago. I decided to stop by and try and she was right. I bought the spicy chicken biryani and chicken samosas. It exceeded my expectations and my son loved it too. The customer service was great and the place is so clean. “This is our new go-to place after our Florilegium choral concerts on Sundays. They are accommodating of our large group, flexible in splitting the check, and very nice overall.
I have enjoyed the mango lassi, lamb korma, samosas, shrimp appetizer, pakora, sag paneer, and dal.
If you want minimal spice, just let them know and they will adjust their dishes. We never get to dessert because the food is so filling!“

“Visited Baazi last weekend and had one of the best Indian meals in the city. A special shoutout to Fatima behind the bar for crafting some truly outstanding cocktails that perfectly complemented the meal.
From the appetizers to the mains, everything was spot on. The highlight for me was the Goat Champaran, one of the few places in the city serving this authentic regional specialty, and it was absolutely delicious. The kebabs and tikkis were packed with flavor, and the lobster was exceptional.

“Honestly one of my favorite spots now! The vibe inside is super clean and aesthetic, and the food has so much flavor. We got the chole bhature and masala dosa and both were so fire. The prices are super fair, especially for how much food they give you. The people working there are really nice and attentive too. Definitely coming back here all the time!“
