“I absolutely love the atmosphere thie place has. It's warm and inviting. The food is always great and consistent. I've ordered the streak frites and it's delicious like melts in mouth tender and flavorful. The bread with cheese is ridiculous as a starter meaning it's amazing. “Barnacle Bill’s is an absolute staple of the Rumson area and is a must visit. It’s a bar/tavern/grog shop that is somewhat trapped in time but in the absolute best way. It’s dark, loud and crowded but it just feels perfect. Burgers are charbroiled and the steak fries are great. Service is surprisingly good and the people watching is even better. I’m really happy places like this still exist.“

“This was our 5th time dining at Angelica’s and food was excellent! Every time we go we try something new and each time we think it gets better and better . When you hear the specials of the night , your mouth is watering before the waiter is finished telling you, and I make him repeat it a million times because I want to order everything. The service was wonderful , the Maitre d’ s are always making sure you are comfortable and everything is perfection . (Carlos )our waiter is so attentive and accommodating, goes above and beyond . The ambiance was perfect … love the outside seating , so romantic, and beautiful.. (my favorite ) blankets , heaters, just so cozy , love love love that outside garden dining . “I love this place. Sitting by it self away from the hustle and bustle from long branch shopping center, Rooney’s is king of oceanfront dining any season. We went in April, it’s awesome to have dinner indoors during winter months watching the ocean. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and upscale. The bar is huge. The angry lobster and char grilled oysters is a must try. My seven year old loved it. That alone tells you something. The drinks are awesome, service is impeccable.My personal shore fave❤️.“

“We just moved from Jersey City to Keyport and we have already been missing the quality of restaurants we previously had access to....until Half Moon. Everything was excellent from the ambiance to the cocktails to the food. First, the cocktails were unique and delicious and so fairly priced. The food was prepared with fresh ingredients and we loved everything. We had the short rib Mac and cheese, whipped ricotta and the chicken sandwich in Thai chili sauce. “I was so impressed with The Squire, I had to write my very first review of a venue.On April 20, 2024, I held my daughter-in-law’s baby shower at The Squire at Branches in West Long Branch. NJ.My daughter-in-law saw an Instagram post on the restaurant, and we decided to schedule an appointment, as pictures can be deceiving.The venue was really very pretty. I always check out the restrooms in a restaurant or venue before making a decision – The Squires’ rest rooms were exceptionally clean and beautifully appointed with designer soap pumps and lotion and nice hand towels.We chose to have the shower on the restaurant side. The lobby was so lovely with a place for guests to take photos, a place for the welcome sign and seating chart / cards, etc. before entering the reception room for the shower. Artificial flowers hung from the ceiling giving it a soft elegant appearance. Each of the windows was adorn with flowers and candles as was the fireplace. Gorgeous room!We chose the Breakfast Brunch Menu for our guests. Although their Brunch menu is extensive, I chose to add an Omelet Station and an extra Hot Station. I probably didn't have to add anything extra as there was a lot of food! The presentation of all the stations, cold and hot, was exceptional! My guests kept raving about the food. Several went back for second and third helpings.I was told there would be a screen behind the hot station tables to hide any tables and chairs not in use. This was not just a plain old screen or room divider. It was a beautifully detailed wall that matched the other walls in the room. Again gorgeous!The sales manager, Stacie, was a pleasure to work with, and let’s not forget about the bartender and wait staff ladies. So very professional, helpful, and accommodating. Knowing that I was busy with my guests and activities, the staff was very attentive, always checking with me to see if I needed anything.I only wish I knew about The Squire at Branches before this year. Without a doubt, I would have held my other parties here too.“

“We had wanted to try Saffron for a while and when we saw they were participating in restaurant week we went. It did not disappoint. Service was excellent and the food outstanding. We had the crispy cauliflower and lamb tart to start. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned and the cauliflower was definitely crispy. The saffron butter chicken and the prawns narkel were our entree. Prawns were large and cooked to perfection and the chicken was moist and juicy Both sauces were so well spiced. We will definitely return.“

“Though no one was answering the phone there to see if it was open, we ventured on a Wednesday night around 630 before a show at the Count Basie. Walked in and a less than handful of folks at the small bar. No one at the tables. I had to trust the Yelp reviews. Two people seemed to be working, and I believe one was manager and chef. Menu was nice and service was attentive and friendly. The guac was very generous and very good. The entrees had a lot going on on the plate. Fish, rice, corn, salad, veggies, Brussel sprouts, asparagus. A very large serving plate. Could tell care went into the food presentation. Will definitely be back. This is a hidden gem that deserves a spotlight.“

Also, the salad lack today's salad expectations. For one, the dressings are thick and processed. They need to be fresh prepared in house. Also, bring back the old recipe for the drunken clams. Fossilized all 3 of em bitches! If you can fossilize a THIGH...u know it was good! Great job to the cook, management, whoever caught them chickens, everybody. I also let them know how well it was seasoned. Was it the best chicken in the world..Noo..but it was still good AF! Food was great, didn't need to be double dipped and extra extra crispy bullshit. It was perfect the way it was, right amount of seasoning and crunch and def will be back!
