“Cute little restaurant with a nice staff. I’ve been looking for good ramen spots in the area and this was not as good as I wanted it to be. The spicy ramen was not spicy and the broth was a little bland. The noodles were cooked well though. I’ve heard good things about this spot so maybe I’ll have to give it another chance.Now for my standard comments as of December 2023. Location is kept clean and seating is well distanced. Not sure if they have any room for outdoor seating though.“

“Food is delicious, greeting from the host station was non existent, server, Brian, was attentive and delivered hot food quickly.The pork chashu in the Tonkatsu ramen was not good (tough, off-putting flavor) despite having some of the best broth I've had.Vegetable gyoza were fantastic!Recommended.“

Extremely accommodating all around so nice and the vegetable rice bowls are to die for unlimited toppings and what surprised me was their ramen!!! “I enjoyed the spicy tan tan ramen, and all I can say is wow. I feel lucky to have tried it. The flavor was something familiar and something I look for often when I eat out. It was better than I expected. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys spicy, but not overbearing flavors“

“The food itself is very good. Ramen is excellent. Felt a bit rushed. Our appetizers came out and shortly after, our ramen bowls. We had two full appetizers on the table and our bowls. They need to do better with timing as far as when food is prepared and sent out from the kitchen. Another thing, we brought a bottle of wine and they do not have wine glasses. I’ve never experienced that before. We drank wine out of water glasses that look like beer glasses. Kinda cheap feeling.“

“My husband and I live near by & finally went to Asahi Sushi Ramen! The service was wonderful, they were quick and answered any questions we had. The food was a 10/10 it looked & tasted delicious. It’s DEFINITELY worth stopping by. They have prices you can’t beat! The chicken teriyaki came out HOT (also came with a side salad & side of rice) and the presentation was great, the chicken ramen came in a large bowl and I had leftovers to take home! :)“

“I’ve been coming to Ani Ramens for years. It is my favorite place to get ramen. The staff is always great and the ramen is spot on. Each location does things a little differently and Maplewood is my preferred location based on my on personal taste preferences. I always get the vegan ramen it is delicious. The edamame and cucumber appetizers are delicious as well and I recently tried the crispy tofu buns and am now a fan!“

“Been a few times now to eat in and grab take out. The people are always friendly and helpful in both scenarios. We've gotten a couple different ramen bowls and poke/burritos. Food is always tasty and generously portioned. Only minor complaint I've ever had is that the eggs in the ramen could be a little less cooked for me but otherwise everything else has been great.“

“Cute, quaint, great decor, clean and delicious. Everything from the Ramen and sushi to the Hibachi is delicious!! AND the juicy pork dumplings are SO good! As for the bubble tea and green tea cake, big thumbs up! The wait staff is friendly but the owner (or possibly manager) is even friendlier and just the kindest! She truly makes you feel welcomed!
