“Food was fantastic, we ordered off the vegetarian menu that uses pseudo meats, and would never guess they weren't meat. The seasame chicken was by far our favourite but it was all good. Its incredibly filling, hot and textures were right. Atmosphere is what you'd expect from a Jewish Chinese restaurant. Jews at the counter, Chinese cooking. The experience alone was worth the stop! Will definitely be coming back next time we are in town!“

The menu has a great variety, from creative specialty rolls to classic favorites, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome every time. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. “Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. Also the service was perfect!“

“Was looking for a place to grab dinner and found this place online so decided to give it a try, and this place did not disappoint. Located in an area that makes it easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, Enbu was a nice surprise to stumble upon. The first thing I noticed were the bright colors and very nice water feature, which were nice touches to the decor of the restaurant. We split a pineapple cocktail that we enjoyed, it was sweet but just strong enough to do the trick. For an appetizer, we split what I found to be my favorite food there, the pork gyoza. They were absolutely delicious, and might be my favorite gyoza/dumpling I’ve ever had. The ginger they used for my salad was a tad bit strong for my liking, but I still also enjoyed it. For our entrees, we had the hibachi steak and mixed vegetables and the salmon teriyaki and broccoli, both of which were served with rice. We would both say they were good, but arguably nothing you wouldn’t find from another Asian restaurant. In the end, for the price of everything I’d say it was still very worth the visit and would recommend to someone else looking for similar food in the area. Perhaps we’ll be back to try out some stuff off the sushi menu in the future“

“Flight got cancelled last night and I was in need of Asian food. I had the ramen. The soup was comforting. The bamboo shoots were delicious. The noodles were a little undercooked to my liking, and the eggs were not marinated but well cooked. The seating area was comfortable and bright. Service was good.“

I am a fan of the side dish options, they were good. I will probably order here instead of Poke Crew in Closter. This is better quality and slightly less expensive.“

I’m blown away by the quality of the food and attentive service. The Momo were incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned and the entrees from varying places in Asia impressed me. Special shout out to the imported beers as well - I got the Nepal Ice beer and am now looking where to source it for myself. Truly a hidden neighborhood staple -

“I came here because of their amazing 4.9 rating on Google Maps, however, I was not amazed by their food. I got curry puffs to start my dinner. The puffs were nice and flavorful. The outside was light and flaky, and the insides were well seasoned with nice texture. The sauce came with was too sweet to my liking. Personally I prefer eating it as it is. I pad see ew with shrimp and added beef($5). The flavor was nice and the shrimp was fresh and clean. However, the beef wasn’t so good especially when I paid $5 extra for them. It was too dry and chewy.

“Usually I do delivery or take out but decided to order by going inside today. The cashiers Jordan and Julian (sorry, not sure of correct spelling) were so kind to me. They complimented my tattoos and Jordan was so attentive to my order. When I asked for the receipt for my scrapbook, they made me feel so happy. We even had a cool conversation about our scrapbooking hobby. Julian even offered a sticker. They looked so cool and had even cooler vibes. Thank you both so much for making my day“

“Excellent and authentic, feels like being in Japan!I used to eat regularly at their downtown location near Wall St,, which is unfortunately closed, and which used to allow full customization of the bento box (i.e. build-your-own).The Midtown location doesn't have this setup, but they offer multiple pre-prepared options to choose from. They also have a very interesting Ramen option, and the quality of the bento is exceptional.I strongly recommend BentOn!“

“Fillmore Deli and Backroom is a pretty solid neighborhood spot with a surprising mix of options. The Korean fried chicken is actually really good crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. They also have a large variety of sandwiches, so there’s something for whatever mood you’re in.

One thing that always throws me off though is they tend to run out of the tuna pretty often, which is strange for a deli. But besides that, everything else seems to be okay. It’s a reliable place to grab a quick bite and the food usually hits the spot.“
