“It was exactly what we expected, a no frills Breakfast & Lunch counter with a handfu of tables. Food was basic and good. I requested eggs scrambled soft and got scrambled soft. The shredded potato were also enjoyed at our table. For atmosphere, the place was worn but clean.“

They same family has been lovingly running the place since 1908! In 2021 they have Lots of spacious outdoor dining. Super attentive waitstaff - our waterglass was never empty- and just a happy peaceful atmosphere- hard to be sad when your belly is full of delicious food made with love. Get the latkes- they are to die for! Best lox we’ve had in the city and the #9 sandwich really should be renamed the Bubbe Zayde - it’s a double decker on rye half pastrami half corned beef coleslaw and Russian dressing- tasted as amazing as it looks, and truly brought back memories noshin with my Bubbe and Zayde. “Everything is as delicious as it sounds to be honest! Ran by Koreans, the taste reminds me of my mom’s food but restaurant level quality and aesthetics. They pack their to-go food like a cute little lunch box, a piece of fruit, and a brownie that’s deceptively yummy and chewy/fudgy. Their to/go hot teas are also SO nicely packed. “I stopped into Fresh & Co., while I was in a hurry to attend the New York International Auto Show.I ordered a blueberry muffin to go. The delightful young lady behind the counter insisted that I eat it there, and that I needed to have it toasted.I asked how long that would take. The young lady just told me that it would be worth it. And it was.It was very refreshing in a world ? that lacks consistent customer service, to receive that type of experience. “Mila’s Cafe is breath of fresh air in NYC and a reminder of what a joy it is to support small businesses. You can sit down or take out. It is CASH-ONLY. The food is incredible and so are the two employees; Sergio and the cashier. You can order any breakfast sandwich or platter, and the prices are truly reasonable. Sometimes there may be a line, so please be patient as there are only two people but the wait is well worth it.“

“Small place. Friendly service. Place is decorated nicely. Just a few tables. Standard diner counter cafe and a few high chairs with tabletop counters in front window. Pancakes were the fluffiest I've seen ina while the blueberries were plump and delicious. They let you order a single pancake if you want which is cool. Took a pic after I started eating so you'll have to imagine the other half of the pancake“

“Outstanding breakfast. Mother's Day plans fell through last minute and looked at local spots to order breakfast from for takeout. Challah French Toast, turkey bacon/egg/cheese sandwich, chocolate chip pancakes - all top notch. From time I ordered through Door Dash order was ready for pickup in 20 min. Saved our Mother's Day morning and will definitely be ordering from here again!“

“I've only ever ordered delivery here and I'll continue to do that. This is one of the best places in the Bronx for breakfast. It's affordable good food. And whoever decided to start wrapping up the drinks to protect your whole order when customers use the delivery services, God Bless You! This is one of the only places I order from where I get to drink all of my coffee and not find half of it flooding the paper bag. I really appreciate that.“

“We found this spot on Google after leaving the history museum, wanting to get a good hardy lunch. This place did not disappoint! Service and food were excellent! I had the pancake breakfast, my daughter had the chili, and my son in law had the cheeseburger. Everything was so tasty, filling, and satisfying. The chili really rocked! I also loved the look and vibe of the place, and we vowed to return the next time we're nearby again.“

“Be aware that Esti's is in the lobby of an office building, but that shouldn't stop you from sampling some of the wonderful treats here! My friend and I both enjoyed Esti's special homemade green tea and ginger which was delicious. I had the "best shortbread" cookies (they lived up to their name) and my friend had the gluten-and dairy-free version. The bonus was the proprietor - a warm and friendly woman who does all the baking herself. I highly recommend this unsuspecting spot!“

“The steak tacos are my favorite; I prefer the traditional over the American style. The bacon egg and cheese is good too. One of the better places in the Kingsbridge area to get a quick bite to eat. Only downside is how small it is. It's mostly a strictly to-go small restaurant with enough room for 3 to 4 people at a time inside. The people who work there are very nice and they serve food quick and efficient.“

“This is literally the best Deli around this area , no competition honestly. The prices are amazing and the service is incredible. The person taking your order or ringing you up is Moe and he is super nice and courteous. Never had a problem with an order nor paying . I come here almost everyday and Im greeted daily and served as if I was the owner . Love this place for the taste and price of their food ! Really good and solid for sub $15 meals that will fill you up quickly. Perfect place for lunch and they have indoors sitting area.“

“I used to come here years ago however I haven’t been in this area in quite some time. I am happy to report that their food is just as good if not better than what I remember. The portions are plentiful and the food is cooked to perfection.This is the perfect breakfast/ brunch nook. They primarily offer quick takeout but also have 4 tables and table service. Our server Rosa was a gem. When we first arrived I asked for change to pay for parking. 30 minutes later as we were finishing up she offered me more quarters as she had noted the time we came in and didn’t want us to get a ticket. “Uri's coffee is something you have to see to believe. There are hundreds food trailers scattered around New York City. Uri's appears to be some kind of bizzare anomaly with how uniquely busy it is. I saw no less than 4 separate door dash like services lined up here waiting to pick up the many orders the busy staff was working to fulfill in a kitchen no larger than a small truck bed. Their signature item is a breakfast burrito which comes with all kinds of bonus goodies like avocado, hot peppers, and a flavorful green salsa served on the side. I hope Uri's continues to be a huge hit, because the hard working owners deserve your money more than most. I dream to one day maybe see this as a larger truck or even a restaurant, that would warm my heart and I think feed a lot of hungry people on the upper east side.“

“My go-to sandwich spot! Delicious! Inexpensive! My son is also completely addicted to the grilled cheese sandwiches they make, we go every Saturday for lunch. I love that everything is clean and sanitary, not every deli knows how to make a good “Bodega sandwich” but this spot NAILS it.“

“The Dirty Kitchen(traditional name given by Harlemites) is a go to for breakfast, especially in the early am.They close around noon so not a lot of time but they get slammed from 5am-11:30am so come early. The place is whole in the wall but the food is excellent. Like the breakfast your grandma made back in the day. They also give free coffee with any order before 10am.“

“I go here for the custard French toast, it is an absolute hidden gem on the menu.They also have a habit of hiring extremely cute girls to work the front which always helps ?The Pollo guisado is always a good safe bet for me and I prefer it to any other in this part of town. Not a fancy place or a 5 star restaurant, just a very good place to eat for locals in a chill atmosphere“

“What a little hidden gem! From out of town, I needed a quick breakfast bite. Randomly found this place on Google. First off, their ice coffee uses ice coffee cubes?!? Good coffee with the same good coffee ice was such a pleasant surprise. For that alone, I will come back for their ice coffees when I'm back in the area.. Egg/potatoes were also good. Their potatoes were perfect with just the right amount amount green and red pepper accenting each bite. Next time when I'm not running off, I'd like to sit outside at their bistro table in front.“

Service was above and beyond. The atmosphere was calm, establishment is clean. Food was amazing! my partner and I ordered the bruschetta toast, chicken& waffles, Brussels sprouts, carbonara, pork eggs Benedict and lastly the chocolate lava cake for dessert!
