“I’ve been coming here from when I used to go to Tenafly Middle school. This place was my go to for after school snack.
Price is still amazing for lunch deals around $8~$12, portions are generous, and ultimately foods are great.
It’s been more than 10 years but I’ll still come to Tenafly just for Good Taste general chicken tsp combo.
Highly recommended.“

My niece casually mentioned she liked the ice (to chew on) and the waitress somehow overheard this and brought her a glass of ice. When she said she wished she could take it with her the nice lady reappeared with a plastic cup of ice to go. The whole evening was like that, almost like being in a family kitchen.“

“Luke's lobster is known for the lobster dishes, as the lobster rolls but I went there looking for a clam chowder (New England style) and wasn't disappointed. Creamy and tasty. I missed a touch of bacon, but I guess this is not on the traditional recipe.
And next time I should definitely go for the lobster roll.

“They are known for making their own tofu. Their tofu soup is pretty good. They have this powder, which I think is perilla powder, that gives it a unique broth flavor. Bibimbap is good as well; the pork is marinated very well and is tender. I don't really like the service here tho. I asked which dish do you recommend, and they said everything and just walked me through the items in the menu lol. Food also takes a while to come out.“

I was greeted nicely and they had no issues with my request! I paid around what I pay at other places for ox tails. I asked for it to be with Moro. My food came out with Moro on the side, beans, and white rice and the ox tails! But also, added plantain chips, and two cookies! I thought that was a great little gift! We called on the phone, placed our order, then made our way over. We paid in cash and got the food. I ordered the boneless spare ribs combination platter, which comes with a roast pork egg roll and roast pork fried rice. We also got a small wonton soup. The boneless spare ribs were really good, striking a good balance between the sweet and savory that boneless spare ribs typically have. The roast pork egg roll was delicious and savory. Everything else, though, was not as good. The roast pork fried rice was pretty bland, as were the wontons and the broth that the wontons came with. For the price, though, it was reasonable, so I am not too upset.“

Had to shout out the best juice shop in Harlem. Everything is freshly made and the menu options all look and taste amazing. Stopped here so many times, I have now lost count. Pre/Post workout smoothie and freshly made shots are my go to; however, I recommend it all! Always a hit never a miss! A must visit in Harlem!“

“I have not found many Chinese restaurants beyond Chinatown that's considered close to being called good until I tried this one. I only ever ordered delivery because my brother is living at a Senior Rehabilitation center on W190 st. I was surprised to find the Chicken and Broccoli not drenched in oil or overcooked! It's not salty or full of MSG like other typical Take outs. Everything I ordered showed a true experienced cook. No lumpy gelatinous "gravy" although I always make it a point to ask for little gravy and they actually followed my request! I don't ever judge a Chinese restaurant by its decor. Some of the BEST ethnic foods I've had, we less than inviting. I get why they do not bother w the "atmosphere" but focused on good food. I get that it would be nice to be able to enjoy going there if you are a long time patron but I used to love a place called Peking Duck in Chinatown until they moved to a new space and changed to an upscale look and soon the food was not at all the same. Perhaps the chef left but I still missed the dishes they used to make to perfection. So don't fix what's not broken. If this is the only Chinese restaurant near you count your lucky stars bc they do authentic Chinese cooking.“

“My last visit to Elsa La Reina del Chicharrón was nothing short of amazing. Elsa truly lives up to her name the queen of chicharrón! perfectly seasoned pork, and the flavor doesn’t disappoint. The chicharrón was crispy, juicy, and full of that authentic sazón that’s hard to find anywhere else in the city.

You can tell everything is made with love and pride. The service was friendly, fast, and made me feel like family. If you’re in New York and haven’t been to Elsa yet, you’re seriously missing out. She’s simply the best nobody does it like Elsa!“

“I came here for a casual dining experience and had a great time. I ordered the dumpling sampler and the shredded beef mini bao. I personally enjoyed the chicken and vegetable dumplings the most—they had a soft texture and delicious flavor. The shredded beef bao was also excellent—the beef was tender and paired perfectly with the soft, fluffy bao.

My daughter ordered the chicken dumplings and really liked them as well.

We also tried the jasmine tea, which was warm and very pleasant—light and refreshing, a great match for the meal.

Service was fast, and even though they made a small mistake with the order, they corrected it right away. Staff was polite and attentive. The place is clean, and they clean up quickly after each customer leaves, keeping everything ready for the next guest.

There was no background music, but that actually made it easier to have a conversation.

The portion quantities are good to fill up the stomach and I’m too full by the end of my meal and couldn’t finish it. I think the price that we are putting the quantities will be justified. I like the wine as an old wooden barn with cool theme. Overall it was a good experience and might return also.
