“Dude, that burger was awesome! They ground the beef right there while we were ordering. The fries were perfectly crispy and so good. I think they coulda bundled the fries and a drink to make a few extra bucks and make ordering easier, though.

And I wish they had a soda fountain with refills for one price.“

“We have been getting take-out from Falafel Hut for many many years. It’s a great option for a reasonably priced meal. We have had a variety of items from the menu and have been happy with them. We have also ordered for parties / group gathering and everyone was happy with the meal.

Kid-friendliness: If your kid wants chicken fingers and fries, their’s are good.“

“I've been coming here for years!!! The most authentic Greek food I've had here in the states. Everything on the menu is a hit. The food takes about 10 minutes if you order in-person. Everything is fresh, tasty, and quality. There is limited seating indoors but plenty of additional seating outside to immerse yourself in the Montclair streetscape. The owner, Efi, is extremely accommodating and professional. She cares deeply about the quality of food and service. I can't recommend this place enough. Fair warning though: you will crave Efi's Gyro after trying it!“

“One of the best places to get a good, healthy, hearty meal for the low.

This is one of the few line places that actually honors an extra meat portion. I don’t know if any other place in Newark that you can get basically a meal for two under $14. Disclaimer, I eat a lot.

And it begins with coming into a welcoming, warm place (takeout with some outdoor tables) where people work hard! Prices are very reasonable. Just go and try it!“
