“Definitely a five star experience!!! We arrived just before happy hour ended (4-5:30) and they were kind enough to place a quick order of oysters!!! They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! I got their Corn Beef Hash Breakfast Wrap & on a separate occasion I got their Taylor Ham, Egg, & Cheese with extra meat and three eggs. Both items were a real treat! Their Taylor Ham, Egg, & Cheese was really really tasty, and the Taylor Ham had a wonderful crisp to it accompanied by a lovely crunch around around the edges. The best of the two was the Corn Beef Hash Breakfast Wrap! The Corn Beef was extremely flavorful and the potatoes they added to the wrap were seasoned and tender. The Corn Beef Hash Breakfast wrap is an exemplary to-go breakfast item. I thoroughly enjoyed both! The staff is really kind, and the customer service was amazing. It's not normally a prolonged problem with some work but I've had a number of instances with older adults not being able to remove the lid because of the lack of any way to grip the lid or bowl separately. This could be remedied with a simple tab on the lid and bowl but they just don't have it.Either case, Orgreen is a solid take out place with decent ingredients and nice variety. “I recently hosted a private brunch for a group of friends earlier this month. Moonshine was a perfect choice since it had a beautiful private dining space upstairs complete with a full bar and a private restroom for guests. The décor and ambiance of the space is modern and luxe but also feel inviting and cozy at the same time. The private space itself is very spacious with lots of room to move around. The free parking in the back also helped to make the drive into Millburn easier. If you haven't been to Moonshine, the food is delicious and a real gem outside of the New York City area. The menu from the brunch was more than filling and everything from the Moonshine salad to the lobster and artichoke benny to the bread pudding (OMG, that bread pudding!) was more than enough to satisfy even the hungriest of appetites. The staff on the day of were accommodating of our every need and made sure that glasses were filled and that guests were well taken of from the moment that they walked into when the last person waved good-bye. Everyone was very friendly and professional throughout the day. In planning the brunch, Victor, the owner, was very responsive and made sure that we were well taken care of. His assistance in putting together the menu and setting up the room to our specifications made planning and organization go smoothly. What I appreciated most was him checking in prior to the brunch and helping me to tweak the menu just a bit so that we'd get the most bang for our buck. “The best place for lunch near the Rutgers-Newark campus on weekdays! The restaurant has a great cause and serves delicious three-course meals for only $12. The three courses are appetizer (choice between salad and soup), main (two different protein options and one vegetarian option), and dessert (choice between a bakery item and fruit). I have been to the restaurant several times since opening a few years ago, and the food has been excellent every time that I have been there. The only minor drawback is that the location is only open for weekday lunch between 11:30 am and 2 pm.“
