“My family and I love love love Kubo. Since they opened, we def try to come here any time were in the area. My fave fave fave is the Ube Soft Serve with Taiyaki and boba. Their soft serve is just so creamy and flavorful. I haven't tried everything on their menu yet, but I def plan to. “I worked with Ma’s Tea House for a corporate event. Initially we wanted them to come on site at our NYC office location at make fresh bubble tea as people came into the office, which they do offer, but the building had a lot of specific requests which made it difficult to coordinate. We ended up deciding to switch to a delivery of 100 bubble teas in the morning for my event that same afternoon. From start to finish, they were very easy to work with and responsive. I stopped by the shop and Justin worked with me to decide on what would be best for delivery and what flavors would be good options. I even requested they add my company’s stickers to the cups along with their own and they did. Delivery was a little tough (but that was due to the location of the office in midtown, police officers not allowing vehicles to stop, etc.) but we eventually found each other for delivery and they helped bring the bubble teas into the building within the delivery time discussed.As for the bubble teas during the event, we decided on 50 white peach rose with strawberry popping boba and 50 passion fruit with mango popping boba. They were a HUGE hit and mostly gone within the hour from the start of the event which we didn’t expect. We were anticipating some leftovers by the end of the day, but in the end, there were none.Pricing was reasonable and comparable to other quotes that we received. Brian was great to work with. We would look to work with them again in the future!“
“Tokyo Sushi is a solid sushi spot in the neighborhood! We ordered two party platters here for a family gathering and I was impressed with how fresh and well-prepared the rolls were. Placing our order over the phone was a breeze - the woman on the line guided us to select a number of rolls and sashimi and even gave us a few recommendations that ended up being solid picks. There was a wait of around forty minutes for our platters, but the resulting dishes were gorgeous, and most importantly, tasty.The folks here are as nice as can be and while we placed a to-go order, it seems like a postprandial froyo might be a great perk of dining in. As an added plus, there is a sweet $30 discount that is applied to all orders above $150, which is a fantastic deal if you're placing a large order.“
“I really love this place. The ice cream is made to order and its done quickly. Do to covid restrictions they still have in place you cant watch them make the ice cream like you used to but you can see the "magic" from a distance. Place looks clean. Only thing is thats a minor inconvenience is the tenants upstairs have ACs that drip directly in front of the door way.“

“I selfishly want to keep this place a little secret, but I know it's not right to do and so I must share my thoughts and quick review so that you may enjoy it too. My go-to coffee is usually black and nothing else. Instead I opted to try their "Hot Chai latte"and a choice of oat milk, half/half and milk and other options. I went with the half/half and It was absolutely delicious. Groundwork's Cafe is just the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself with their many food and drink options. The energy and vibe is exactly what I like to surround myself in. The cafe is extremely clean all around!!!! The staff members are beyond friendly and welcoming. There's off street meter parking and town meter parking lots within a short walking distance. What I ordered: Hot chai latte Chicken Colombian empanadas A small cup of Tomato Soup I LOVED IT ALL! My NEW FAVORITE PLACE and I'm looking forward to going back.“
“Well first off I’d like to say that I’ve visited many Chinese service food establishments in my time. And without question Moge Tee is one of the finer ones. The restaurant is very clean and organized as it is a new restaurant in Newark. The food is fresh and delicious. My favorite in particular there is the walnut shrimp, a creamy sauce covered over delicious shrimp. I’m generally not a fan of bubble tea but this place has changed my mind with the awesome Crème Brûlée Boba Tea! Great place to eat!“
“I've heard a lot of great things about this place, so when I happened to be in the area, I made sure I finally checked it out and I'm so glad that I did. I went on a late Saturday afternoon, so the wait wasn't too long. I bet it was probably busier during the actual lunch time. My friends and I got the following: #16 - spicy ground pork over hand-pulled noodles #44 - scallion pancake Noodle #2 - beef with hand pulled noodle soup They were all very good, but we really liked the spicy ground pork dish. We actually wanted to try the wide noodles, so we actually ordered just some of them plain and mixed them with the leftover spicy pork sauce. It actually tasted better with the wide noodles. I usually always add hot oil to my food whenever I get a chance, but the spicy ground pork had a perfect kick to it, so didn't need the hot oil at all. However, the one dish I was surprised and really liked was the complimentary side dish of a cucumber salad, made with very simple seasonings according to our server. It was soooooo good and went so well with all the dishes and added freshness to the rich food we were eating. My friend even ordered some to take home, which was around $6/$7 (can't remember exact price). If you do go, don't skip the cucumbers. Not a fancy or big place, but the turn over is pretty quick because the service is fast, so food comes out very quick. If you're in the area and you want good food, this is a place you must stop by. I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes.“
“Absolutely one of the best restaurants we've tried in some time. first time having Taiwanese food. very simple with some amazing flavors. we ordered the Crab/Pork soup dumplings as soon as we sat down. simply the best I've had. the Cucumber salad with hot chili oil, fantastic !!! Popcorn Chicken was the first chicken of its kind that didn't need a sauce. the meat was crispy and moist and held its own without a sauce. Taiwanese sausage was served with sliced garlic. simple a delicious !!!! we also had the fried pork soup dumplings which were incredible !!!! Can't wait to go back and try their entrees. Restaurant was packed when we arrived for lunch and stayed that way. Service was impeccable. Next time I'll make sure to make a reservation !!!!“

“They are so much more than your average icecream shop, not only do they have bubble tea (which isn't always easy to come by) they have delicious and unique flavors of rolled icecream they prepare fresh. You can tell how much they care about what they are preparing, if the fruit for something they have isn't ripe yet, though they might have the fruit, they let you know so you're not just eating any bland fruits. And they have constantly been trying new flavors and creations of this delicious rolled ice cream. They prepare it right there in front of you. The icecream isn't the only thing making this place amazing, but also the huge variety of bubble tea flavors. Even with different types of boba, and they even have the new craze of the cheese foam varieties! There are some place that make bubble tea really watery or just plain gross, but this place makes it the best I've ever had. I didn't even use to have the tapioca boba pearls untill I had it here, its just so fresh, sometimes it is even still warm in my drink because they are constantly making new fresh batches. They even started serving Acai bowls, which also taste incredible here. I highly recommend this place, it is honestly the best newest thing to happen to Kearny.“

“FINALLY a solid taqueria within walking distance! We got chorizo and carnitas tacos - both excellent. Carnitas had a deep, meaty flavor, chorizo was flavorful. Green salsa was awesome, red salsa was a nice heat but not as much flavor. Got a lime cucumber agua fresca too, refreshing and not too sweet. There's only 3 tacos to an order (double tortilla) so they're not cheap, but it's enough food. The restaurant itself looks pretty nice - clean, bright, nicely decorated. We'll 100% be back.“
“My daughter ordered from Millburn Poke Bowl today for delivery. The food arrived quickly. I had the sushi burrito....what great value for the money. The presentation is attractive; the burrito was packed in a lidded box that almost looked like a gift. It was packed full of vegetables and rice with very generous amounts of spicy and ahi tuna. They added just the right amount of dressing/sauce. I ate half for lunch and half for dinner. I would highly recommend Millburn Poke Bowl if you want delicious, fresh ingredients and a very generous amount of them.“

“I had the salmon sushi lunch special. It was 3 salmon sashimi, 3 salmon sushi, and a salmon avocado roll. It was tasty and very well put together by the sushi chef. The host/cashier/waitress was very competent and courteous. The restaurant is 3 tables, but takeaway is always an option. The miso was way better than most and a nice portion. My wife had the 3 roll lunch. I snapped a photo, the sushi chef did a very nice job. I will probably return and have the same thing, it was good. They have some Chinese options as well, which we may try in the future.“

When I went home and drank it, I didn't like the taste at all and couldn't drink it. I went back the next day and explained the situation. My purpose was just to tell about this negative experience. Even though I didn't make any requests, they very politely served me the drink. They said they wanted to do it again for free. Even though I insisted on paying, they never accepted it and I liked their behavior very much.
