“Visited on Wednesday night to celebrate mine and my husbands wedding that day and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by lovely friendly staff. We were seated quickly and were introduced to our server. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was fantastic. We opted for the Korean bacon to start and we both had the butchers feast. Outstanding. The steak was beautiful and the dishes that came with it were amazing too. The short rib and egg soufflé were my favourite. The restaurant was a theater back in the very old days. On the wall is a huge, fabulous picture of Edith Piaf singing there. It is relatively small yet intimate. The staff, to a person, was impeccable. The food was absolutely delicious. It was a Monday night so there weren't a lot of people there. Therefore we almost felt like we were at a private dinner. We were there some 2 1/2 hours and no one pressured us to leave. It was first-rate!“

“Nice place with big portions. The staff is great and they will constantly check on you and make sure if you're well or need anything. As I stated before. The portions are big. The price tag matches it, but coming to establishments such as these, it is kind of to be expected. As for the food, the Canadian bacon was very juicy and flavorful, the heart of lettuce salad was divine and light. The apple and bleu cheese complement the salad perfectly. The steaks come out on sizzling hot plates. I got the porterhouse for two with my partner, and we could barely finished half. They are quite hefty pieces. But cooked to perfect medium rare as we asked with a nice char on the outside. Loved this place and it was a great experience.“

Holy Schlitz! This is the best pastrami I've ever tasted including Katz's, Carnegie Deli (70s-90s), & Harold's of Raritan (80s-2010s)! If you've not gone, GO!!! I won't steer you wrong. It's tender, juicy, fresh, and has so much flavor! It's the Kobe of Pastrami! Sorry, didn't try the corn beef or knish but maybe next time. I got the $15.95 sandwich plus one Lb of pastrami $26.95. Tax is 6.625%. I paid cash but they do take cc. Just GO!“

“I ordered for dinner the ribeye steak and onion rings. Cooked medium, the steak was flavorful; I did not need any sauce at all. The place was clean and the staff attentive (it was a Wednesday night).The bill, surprisingly, did not include gratuity or tip. You pay either by card (small charge additional) or cash. The "downsides" are: no parking lot for diners as you park on the sides of the Avenue. There is also no alcohol (wine, beer or cocktails) served. I will bring my family here and recommend to friends.“
