“Waited a long time to get service at the bar even though there were only 5 people in the entire place. One of the bartenders was focused on prepping and the other chatting. The portions are really small. I get that they are tapas but REALLY small for the price. Great atmosphere and wonderful wine selection. If they can figure out food that fits their theme and is reasonably priced this could easily become my go to place.“
“The experience was great but the classic wines were not my favorite (I am used to CA wine). The desert wines were very good though! Loved the Pecan flavored one!It's tucked inside a cute local market that also has a zoo on the grounds.“
“Atmosphere and ambiance are truly comfy and cozy-rustic vibes overall. I had 4 different occasions and get togethers where I came here with friends and nursing colleagues. We were all impressed at the ambiance. The services was responsive and alert to our requests. The quality of food was pretty spot-on tasty. There is plenty of ample parking (private), not Valet! Also, an outdoor seating area for the spring to fall time that is pretty private and cozy. One of my favorite restaurants in Jersey. Feel good vibes, for sure.“

“Been here a bunch of times with my gf. Always love it. Just went for apps and drinks on Saturday 6:30. It won't turn us away but I ordered 1 martini and it took about 30 minutes. We had our soups /apps and then it made it to the table. The drink was delicious I guess they were just backed up at the bar. Food was great- we live around the corner so we'll be back. This fam owned restaurant really makes you feel at home. “Rails is a premier dining establishment in Morris County. Have done take out a few times - and loved the food. Took my parents for dinner on a Saturday night. I could find no flaw from start to finish. Service was warm and attentive. Everything we ate was delicious. The filet was tender and cooked perfectly. My wife absolutely loved the ribs - and they give you an entire rack! My only regret is we didn't save room for dessert, but that gives us another reason to return soon. Five stars well earned by Rails.“
“I had another great experience at Bocaditos this is my 3rd time going and the food. Impresses me every time. The staff at Bocaditos are incredibly attentive and friendly. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly.All of the Dishes are tasty, I've had the beef which was tasty, the chicken and pasta was delicious, it felt as if I were in a NY steakhouse.Their event space is super Instagramable, bottle prices are reasonable, all and all in my opinion it's one of the top places in Paterson. “We absolutely love this place, from the food, to the cozy atmosphere, to the friendly staff and excellent service. It's perfect whether you're here on a date, or for a meal with family or friends. If you don't want a full sit-down meal, you can always find a convivial gathering around the happenin' bar. The menu consists of popular Italian and American favorites like chicken, veal, pastas, salads, steak, seafood, burgers/sandwiches, and a well-rounded selection of appetizers. Nothing trendy but all extremely solid options and consummately prepared. You're greeted with a plate of warm bread and black olives when you sit down. The house wines are quite good and a gracious pour. (A wine shop attached to the restaurant is run by the same people.) The steak is perfection - flawlessly seared to my requested medium rare, and seasoned just right. I've also really enjoyed the fish and chicken dishes here. The tilapia is so tender. Even the sides are outstanding - I couldn't believe how good the sauteed spinach in the chicken saltimbocca was! And the fries are amazing - piping hot and crispy, and perfectly seasoned as well. We've also had the seafood paella which is full of seafood but more of a cioppino with its tomato-based broth than a true paella which has a dry texture, but is tasty nonetheless. We'll be back often to eat our way through the rest of the menu, I'm sure. A happy hour menu is offered from 4-6p on Tue/Wed/Thu. As mentioned, they have a great bar, and the changing seasonal cocktail offerings are delightful. The staff are warm and wonderful, and we were made to feel welcomed each time. Mike the owner came up to introduce himself the very first time we came here. You can tell they take care to know their customers, and seem to have a loyal local clientele (one of whom recommended the Tavern to us). Our meal was perfectly coursed - never rushed nor too slow. I noticed our server discreetly checking on us several times to make sure we were done with our appetizers before the entrees were brought out in impeccable timing. A small table lamp illuminates the menu without harshing the romantic mellow. The unobtrusive noise level means you can actually have a conversation without shouting across the table. These are details, but the sum of these parts differentiates a good restaurant experience from a great one.“
