“I attended a friend's baby shower here about 6 months ago. Based on the food at the shower, I had been meaning to come back here for dinner. I came with my family this past weekend for Easter, and it was fantastic. Bill was our server. The service, the drinks, and the meal from beginning to end exceeded our expectations. “Wonderful birthday dinner with family. The fois gras was amazing. Everyone had different first courses but each one was so enjoyed-including mussels and salad. Main courses were all a treat. Especially the Dover Sole cooked and deboned tableside. So buttery delicious. The evening special of red snapper was excellent. The steak was perfectly prepared as was the chicken with a delicious sauce. Dessert included chocolate mousse - almost as thick as a pot de crème - such an indulgence. The soufflé was a black raspberry which you could smell prior to its appearance at the table. Yum!!!! Always delicious with wonderful service in a pretty dining area.“

“Great selection of cocktails, wines, beers, etc! It's a small and cozy space with seating at the bar and smaller tables/barrels. There is a private room in the back that can be reserved as well. I tried the yuzu cocktail and it was light and refreshing. The margherita pizza was good as well. Service was quick and attentive. They also sell a limited selection of alcohol. Would definitely return!“

“The food was excellent. Went for a work Christmas luncheon. Service, no one really checked on our table. Had to yell across the restaurant to the bar to get a refill on drinks. That's the only complaint aside from that was very satisfied.“

“Great selection, clean, open, easy to navigate so I can get in and out quickly when buying nice wine as a gift. Open easy parking lot with less risk of crashes than nearby liquor stores! I drive an extra 10 minutes to this liquor store because it’s so much less stressful“

“A nice casual place with decent food. Nothing special but we wanted to try a new restaurant. I wouldn't rush back but we had a nice relaxing dinner. Chicken Parm was good, the meatball appetizer was okay. It's a limited menu but they also have a specials menu. Their pizza looked good and steak frites were a hit. It's more expensive than it should be but not unreasonable. The atmosphere is good and overall their service was good.“

“Nice restaurant with an interesting selection of cocktails. I ended up switching back to vodka martinis, which were excellent. The other choices were a little too sweet for my taste. The food is good as well. Beet salad was excellent, short ribs were pretty good. The hamburgers didn't look like anything special but no complaints at my table. Limited menu but everyone found something. The atmosphere and service were good, nice big bar.“

“Girls night out for a friend's birthday was a great time. Stephen S was our waiter and he was a sweetheart who was very attentive and personable. Food and drinks were delish. Dessert was soooo good. “4.5. Nice cocktail menu, food is always good, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. They will take special requests if they are able to. It is not a Michelin star restaurant, if that is what you are looking for, but it is a hidden gem in Westfield. The food is always fresh and there is an eclectic feel of the restaurant itself. My wife and I have dined here several times without a complaint and the staff is always friendly. It is our go-to as a last minute option as it seems to be underrated and a reservation is usually not needed. The other plus is that they are open slightly later than other establishments in the area.“

“Hello, every oneIt's this quaintesentialcafè at Metuchen, NJ.I loved it the first time & visited it the second time for a dine in and coffee.Hazelnut cappuccino is my favourite here.i do recommend that for each one to try.The patttiserie section is simply delicious& lip smacking.And to add ,their crumpled cake Slice is a must try.I'm also gonna add a few pics here by the end of my review.Overall, a quick "to go "place & a serene area within the cafe to sit ,spend time , work or read.A very family friendly café !Muchas gracias to team Café Cai.“
