I'm a New Yorker and I can tell you this is probably one of the best bagels I've ever had. I highly recommend the bagel sandwiches. I don't know what kind of magic they do with those eggs but they're light and fluffy and amazing. The California is also my favorite. These were so good that I took some home in my suitcase and put them in my freezer so now I have a fresh bagel every morning . Staff was super friendly and nice. Please come to New York City!!!“

“Just moved to this neighborhood. It’s near my building so I thought o should give it a try. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere of the place was warm and great. I chatted with some of the staff and regulars while waiting for my bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. I received it promptly and it was delicious and perfectly prepared. I loved it and will definitely become a regular at this shining spot!“

“Came for the name “Schmear,” stayed for the bagels! As New York, New Jersey bagel connoisseurs, we were pleasantly surprised. GET YOUR BAGEL DOUBLE TOASTED! Hit this jawn up :) absolute fire!

Schmear exceeded expectation! “the Boss” bagel sandwich came with the Ketchup, salt, pepper, Taylor ham! A classic for a great price in the city! Bagel was crisp outside, with a nice chew inside. Slightly soft, breadier interior. Would’ve wanted a few more seeds on the everything egg bagel, but it packed good flavor and chew. Lots of selections, also enjoyed the blueberry with honey pecan cream cheese. Service was quick. Barista was friendly, and our dirty chai coffees were great.

Hash brown was alright for a $1.50 on the side. It didn’t seem homemade, but it was crispy nonetheless. Only minor complaint was they did give us an incorrect bagel. We ordered 1/2 a dozen online, and they switched one out by accident. So just check your online order before leaving!

3 outdoor tables and a few countertop seats inside. Overall recommend to go though!“

“I come here with my family pretty frequently on the weekends to get bagels and they're always delicious (our favorite is the everything bagel - it's so good). Did catering this morning for teacher's appreciation week and had a HUGE order - was frankly not going to be surprised if something went wrong, like something left out or for it to not be ready yet, but nope - it was a perfect experience. Everything was ready to go. They took a few extra seconds to grab the cream cheese since they had kept it refrigerated to ensure it was still cold, and everything was organized, ready to go, with nothing missing. Fantastic experience!!!!“

“Needed a breakfast sandwich after a class and this place did NOT disappoint! The sandwich was ready within five minutes, which is probably why I accidentally left my wallet running out of there to get to my next meeting. Luckily, a employee from the store tracked me down about three City blocks away and gave it to me! You don’t usually see that kind of attentiveness and effort in Philly. The balance of egg, bagel, and cheese was excellent, and the cafe atmosphere would have been a great place to eat a Sammie if I wanted to. Overall a rock solid choice, and the prices were very reasonable too. Give them a try!“

“NB: This location is located in a Rowan University academic building. The times google says it's crowded are lies. It's pretty much going to be crowded around the beginning/end of each period (Periods start at 8:00 AM and last 1:15, plus 15 minutes for travel; so it'd be 8:00, 9:30, 11:00, etc). As far as food goes, they've improved significantly in all categories since opening, with orders being processed much faster, taste being pretty good, and the prices being reasonable. Food is significantly better than Dunkin doughnuts but not quite up to par with your favorite local bagel place (with exceptions for specialties like the nova lox, which is delicious). The bagels themselves are on par with most bagel places, as are things like cream cheese (which comes in a good 10 flavors), but the eggs aren't since they're pre-prepared and just heated up. I don't drink coffee, and so I cannot tell you if it's any good.“

“Ry’s Bagels at Rowan University is such a great spot — definitely less crowded than the other Ry’s locations, which makes for a much more relaxed experience. The staff here are super friendly and welcoming, and they make you feel right at home. The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches are top-notch — always fresh, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. “I order at the Bellmawr location often. The Bagels are Very Good and even warm. My granddaughter calls me and says "Pop, will you please stop at Beck's for me and get Bagels". Of coarse I can't tell her no. She loves them also. The ladies who work there are also very nice and thankful for my business. I call in my order and it is always warm and ready and just the way we like them. I would definitely recommend Beck's in Bellmawr. I hope you enjoy your Bagels like we do. RON....“

“Unique selection of flavors not only in bagels but cream cheese. BUT they had my favorite (Asiago Cheese). I literally Googled for a shop with Asiago as the one by my hotel didn’t have it. I like mine “scooped out and double-toasted” and the bagel crew did a great job. Even putting plenty of cream cheese inside (I actually like “light” cheese so scraped off half of it. My husband would have loved to taken all of that extra if he’d been with me. My granddaughter had plain with strawberry cream and she said it was great! Friendly counter staff too.
