“If you are in the area, this place should be on your list. It's tucked away in a corner, but parking is easy, and you should make a reservation if you're planning to visit on a Friday or Saturday. The food is made to order and delicious. Plan to spend a while and have one of the delicious drinks from the cocktail menu.Vegetarian options: You can make requests since everything is made to order.Parking: Parking directly in front of the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: Located on the 1st floor“
“We held my sister’s bridal shower here & we are all blown away at how great a experience we had. From start to finish Tracey & Liz assisted us with all the planning, & were super responsive to my emails. The day of, Tracey & our servers were so kind & helpful with everything. Everyone loved the food & the cake was delicious too! Thank you so much for making my sister feel special on her special day! Will hopefully come in the future for a regular dinner or lunch just to have Chef Andre’s food again!“
“Absolutely fantastic culinary experience. Each dish is a work of art and tastes amazing. I highly recommend the Canadian elk medallions. Not a cheap place but definitely worth it. Conveniently located across from the Hyatt so you can park underground there.Parking: Better to park at the Hyatt across the street.“
“We were a party of 3 for Easter dinner, our first time here. It was packed but the friendly and competent staff was able to accommodate a table change for us to a booth which was much appreciated. Our sewer was friendly and informative. The menu has wonderful options. The tuna tartare appointment was big enough for all of us to enjoy without filling up too much so we could enjoy our perfectly cooked lamb loin and scallop entrees. Desserts were sweet and delicious and the presentation was brilliant. I will steal the idea for my next dinner party!“
“Long time Andy’s customer and I’ve since moved out of the area but when I come through North Jersey I never skip an opportunity to have the best and most creative and delicious hotdogs. Andy‘s is constantly giving back to the community and partnering with the local school system for fundraisers. It’s a true example of a local community restaurant. Don’t get a Boring Dog. Try something unique“
“Unique and delish. My amazing title person stopped by my office and brought there Homemade Potato Donuts called Spudnuts. The dulce de leche with sea salt was my favorite, but it’s super rich. The cinnamon sugar was a close second. You definitely can’t eat the whole donut since they are so large. They were warm and fresh when she brought them in. I have never been here but it’s definitely a fan favorite to most in Morristown. They also have breakfast sandwiches, pizza, burgers, gyro platter and a ton of other comfort foods. I haven’t stopped in, but based on the spundnuts I definitely will stop in soon!“
“I cannot say more about how happy and easy going the atmosphere and service of this place is. Each time we dine in, it’s like walking into our home with the family. The food is great, always conversations happening and friendly staff, no matter how early or late in the afternoon you go.Parking: Parking is available on street or back of place.Kid-friendliness: Area is small but able for kids to watch the tv or sit comfortably.“
“Awesome awesome awesome... drinks packed a punch but still completely refreshing and every tapas plate tasted like it was personally prepared just for us. Staff was super nice and attentive even when the place got packed and the atmosphere was fun but still intimate. Can't wait to go back“
“Hands down the best egg sandwich in NJ. The homemade roll is amazing, eggs are fresh and they pile on the bacon. Servers are consistently friendly and attentive. All the food at Carvers is great (LOVE the homemade bread) but for whatever reason I never ordered the egg sandwich. Can't believe I've been missing it all these years.“
“Chicken Murphy whaaaaattttt? Phenomenal!!! Great food, great service and the owner greeted us when we walked in. I promise you won't be disappointed!!! I am bummed I was so excited when my murphy was put in front of me I forgot to take a picture.“
“While being in the area, decided to stop there for lunch. Local food was good, they had a very decent beer. The view on the lake was extraordinary and in some sense, quite soothing. Prices were decent and service up to par. I'll make sure to stop there if I am ever in the area again.“
“If you are an espresso martini lover like myself, you can't miss Stirling Tavern. I can't even count how many espresso martinis I have gotten here over the past couple of years I've visited the adorable Morristown. The bartenders are very consistent with the drink making and I have never had a bad drink here. The ambience in the bar area is very sophisticated and the seating in the front of the bar is the perfect spot. I've also tried some small plates too like the burger bites which I would like to be snacking on right now. The little sliders have goat cheese for a unique twist and really delicious sweet potato fries on the side. I've had both flatbreads too which are a good starter to share with friends and family.“
“Excellent family atmosphere to dine in. Our greeting when my family and I walked in was so welcoming. The waitress were very nice and friendly. They looked like they enjoyed working there. The food was very flavorful and not overpowered with salt. The buffalo chicken egg roll was delicious. My little one enjoyed the mac n cheese with a grilled cheese (just cheddar). I ate some of her meal too! LOL. I had the meatloaf with mash and gravy and sauteed green beans. This entree hit the spot. My husband had the chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were lightly coated and seasoned just enough. Now I know when people hear GF dessert, they're turned off. Nope, the GF Black and white cake for dessert was very moist, lightly sweetened, and delicious. This place was fantastic. I will return and recommend that you try it.“
“I stopped in here for coffee and just had to try a beignet. They smelled amazing, and the one I got was hot, soft, and not overly sweet, despite the glaze. Good stuff! The shop itself has a good amount of seating, and the employee was nice. I'd try more beignets if I wasn't trying to lose weight, LOL.“
“Holy crow this place gets busy on a Sunday morning. Lots of kids and very noisy. It's IHOP...All is good nothing is awesome.Parking: It was a rainy day and parking was fine even with them being packed inside.Kid-friendliness: I don't have little ones anymore but there were so many kids its gotta be kid friendly“
“One of the healthiest places to eat the Fitness grill is by far also the flavor full variety including tex mex salad and cob salad the wraps are second to none in taste I would highly recommend fitness grill along with the hospitality offered by the owner, she is the “
“My girls and I came here tonight to celebrate one of our friends birthday..and I cannot thank AMIR enough!!! He was soo accommodating, professional..but beyond that his personality and vibe are a 10/10! Genuinely made our experience and night! If you want amazinggg service and a fun personally ask for him! Went above and beyond for the birthday girl and even offered to use his digital camera when we were taking photos! ( photos came out BEAUTIFUL!!) can’t thank him enough!! Literally made our night. The food was amazing, will definitely be back. THANK YOU AMIR!!! “
“Haven't visited in awhile... so ordered classics, onion soup, garlic bread. Demonic steak and burger. Can't go wrong... although miss the huge size of steak. Burger price still extremely reasonable.Thank you for consistency. Prospering all these years.“
“The tables and floor were clean. They need to do a better job at keeping the condiment containers filled. My son enjoyed his burger and fries. The fish sandwich I got was excessively piled with coleslaw, and there was more bread to it than anything else.“
“First visit to Alice’s. We will return. Fun bar downstairs with outside heated seating looking over the lake. The food was ok. Steak was ordered rare and that came out perfect. The Salmon though was over cooked. Sides were fine though the vegetables were a mix of warm and cold. Service was great. Nice people.“
“Today was the first time we ate out on a Holiday. Having Easter dinner @ Portofino's was the BEST!! We enjoyed a delicious meal, wonderful service and atmosphere without any 'clean up'. The food was served hot and appetizing. It couldn't get better. The entire staff was pleasant, accomodating and attentive.“
“First time coming here for dinner with the family to celebrate my birthday on St. Patrick’s day! Food was excellent. My fiancé is born and raised British and she absolutely loved the bangers and mash! The chicken schnitzel was delicious! Atmosphere inside was fun and relaxing. Bag pipe player walking around. Manager came over twice and checked on us! Thank you for a great meal!“
“Overall, solid choice and worth a visit if you're in the area. Typical bar scene with large television screens broadcasting a variety of major sports games, so it does tend to get rather loud inside. But also decently family friendly assuming you're ok with the large tv's around. Decent selection of drinks, and the happy hour specials are well worth the bang for your buck. I personally enjoy the LIT (Long Island), but the House Margarita Special is probably a better deal. Food is pretty much what you'd expect to find at a bar. Large menu so chances are you'll be able to find something that works for everyone. I'm a huge fan of the mozzarella sticks which was the star of the show for me. It is nice that they let you add onto sides for an extra charge. I've tried several of the entrees but nothing stands out. Overall quality is average across the board. Have not ventured into the dessert options here but they looked good for what it's worth, I'll have to give them a shot one time. My experience with service here has been mixed. On my most recent visit, they did very well apart from taking a long time to bring refills/check, but given how busy it gets on weekends it was understandable. However, I have had other times where my order has been messed up without an apology and were visibly upset that I asked for it to be fixed. Personally I prefer here over Tommy's but some may disagree.“
“It was a Thursday evening and we sat in the bar. We ordered off of the Chefs Tasting menu. We both ordered a salad and had the salmon entree which was deliciously perfect. Then we got to order a dessert because all the were included in the 29.99 price! It was excellent. We also had wine with our dinner.“
“Love Pop’s. Food is so good. Reasonably priced. Love that they are involved with the community. It’s really nice to see all the fun events they host!!Parking: Easy in and easy out.Kid-friendliness: Lots of fun events scheduled from time to time.“
“The food is great tastes amazing! I'm truly amazed at how catering and caring the owner and staff are. I love this place and come here all the time for good burger fries hotdogs and and chicken tenders and of course the Dover Dairy maid is right never door the ice cream is fantastic the service is great. The ambiance is definitely good old fashioned American food is family friendly you can eat out side they just opened today for the start of the season. So excited to go back again.“
“Diamond in the rough! I had a cheeseburger figuring it was a safe first shot at a new place. Best burger I’ve had in I don’t know how long. Good size double patty. Each patty would have been a good size burger on its own. Not like the places that basically take one decent size burger and split it in two to say it is a double.Good bun too. They branded it with a “D”… nice touch.Would definitely recommend and a definitely going back.Great job DooWoop EATS!“
“Stopped here after church and was pleasantly surprised. The owner greeted us and sat us immediately. You can genuinely see his care and pride in the restaurant. The service was outstanding. Our daughter was the only child there but they all fussed over her. We really appreciated that. They also made menu modifications for her with no issues. We all loved our food. Portions were plenty and we all brought home some leftovers. Oh and get the beets if you are a beet person. They were fantastic!“
“YOU MUST GO HERE FOR DINNER!!!!!!! Not only is this the only place nearby serving East African food, it is so good that it is akin to food heaven! The staff are incredible! And for dessert you can get amazing homemade ice cream! So please please please do yourself a favor and try the Eritrean food! You will not be disappointed!“
“I highly recommend Longhorn Steakhouse in ITC Crossing. We went there for lunch on Valentine's day. The restaurant is well run, all the staff is very nice and treated us well, the portions are ample and the food is very good.I had a NY strip and it came medium as I ordered it. The steak was properly seasoned with salt and pepper. I had a rather large baked potato with the steakMy wife had a burger and a salad which she said was also very good and was more than she could eat. The salad came home with us.Both meals came out at the same time and both were hot. Our server was Harley. She stopped by frequently to see if we needed anything and that the food met our expectations. It was not super busy and she took time to chat with us which was nice.We went because the manager, Laurel Hill, very graciously, took time to put together a very nice gift basket as a door prize, for the Mount Olive Jr. AF ROTC’s bingo night and we like to support businesses that support organizations that do good in our community. This Longhorn Steakhouse is much better than other Longhorn Steakhouses we tried, which were mediocre. I assume that that is because it is managed well and the staff cares. Dining here was a very good experience. We will be regulars in the future.“
“The location is very easy to find and there is ample parking. The staff is very warm and welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu. There are plenty of places to sit and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. We had the huevos rancheros and the French toast, which were both amazing. They serve a local coffee called Lake born coffee, which was really good by itself and also as a cappuccino. I’ll be back to the rest of the menu!“
“We eat here regularly. Always get seated promptly. Friendly host and servers. The food is fresh and hot. Traditional Irish fare and American standards. I do not drink, but friends say the beer selection is fine. I definitely recommend this restaurant.Parking: Street parking on Denville Bloomfield Avenue is sometimes challenging. If you park on Main Street, behind the restaurant, use the rear entrance.“
“We had the pleasure of throwing my daughter's baby shower at Stone Water on St. Patrick's Day. From beginning to end, it was a complete success. Karissa worked tirelessly with me to ensure that the entire planning process was seamless and that our event would be perfect! Perfect is an understatement!!! The event exceeded all of our expectations - the room was beautiful, the staff was incredible to work with and the food was out of this world! Family and friends are still raving about the event and of course, my daughter was equally floored. We will definitely be returning for future events and truly cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Karissa and all of the staff at Stone Water!“
“The perfect place for a larger family outing. Celebrated a birthday with a dozen plus people including a handful of kids. Spacious interior (outside too in warmer weather). We were seated appropriately in the back room with a great view of the lake and away from adults only by the fireplace. Kids were free to be kids without disturbing others. Without exception, food and drinks were delicious and our waiter was great. With Horse Shoe Lake Park right down the road, it allowed us all to burn off some of the calories.“
“We have been coming to the Windlass for years so when our son requested that it be the venue for the rehearsal dinner for his recent wedding, we were happy to comply. It did not disappoint! Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. We were excited to show our out of state guests how beautiful NJ really is. Thank you to Donna and everyone involved.“
“The Beacon was so accommodating since I planned my entire wedding dinner within a month. I needed as few headaches as possible. Edna coordinated everything! The staff was very polite and attentive. Everyone LOVED the food and atmosphere. I will be coming in regularly to try the other dishes on the menu and maybe a little line dancing.“
“This diner eclipses all others in NJ. Peter does a fantastic job in serving the customers and pays attention to details. Only one thing needs changing to get the coveted 5 star rating; Please procure a higher quality bacon. The sausages and the rest were superb!“
“We catered our son's first birthday party with American BBQ and we received SO many compliments about how delicious the food was! The delivery/setup was prompt and super quick! I had numerous email exchanges with Roberta going back and forth with ideas and she was absolutely wonderful to work with! Highly recommend!!“
“I've driven by a million times and have always been curious. What a pleasant and delicious suprise it was when i finally visited this fine establishment. The owner and staff were very attentive in making everything just right(eventhough we walked in 15 minutes before closing). I had the Rubén and my wife had the chicken salad and a soup- all made perfectly and soup was "grandmother approved"!!! Highly recommend!!!“
“Last year: Good food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Great find!A year later, I was in the area and went back. It was once again really good.If you are looking for a comfortable atmosphere and food that is straightforward, hearty and good, then I highly recomend Charlotte's Web.“
“Have not had beef wellington for years. We didn't make reservations for Easter, so this was last minute for 2 people. We had a complicated order, and our waitress was patient and professionally friendly. It's not expensive for the quality. This meal in Manhattan would cost 2 or 3 times as much. We didn't want any of the appetizers so got 2 side dishes for starters. 3 side dishes, 2 entrées, 3 cocktails, 2 desserts and sparkling water and 2 cappuccinos for $200 is a bargain. Only bad thing is no bread included.“
“I’ve been to a lot of pubs on the east coast, but this one is special. Authentic pieces of Ireland inside and the atmosphere puts you setting in a pub in Dublin.Great place and staff. Food was fresh and served proper. We had the Rusty Irishman drink “ like an old fashioned” and came back a second day to enjoy another round. Great place to rest up and enjoy the east coast before headed into the city. I would recommend a stop and rest over.“
“Welcoming staff and the owner is always hands on.Cozy atmosphere with a bar. Food comes out hot. Live music on Fridays. We have been several times and Im hoping they address my one peeve. Though I appreciate cleanliness, the smell of whatever product they are using is so strong it lingers the entire meal. Go to a product not so toxic and scented so we can enjoy the food w/o the oder.“
“This is a decent spot. We dined here with another couple on a busy Saturday night. It's a small space but well designed with mostly attentive service. For me, the standouts were the appetizers. We shared the chicken lollipops and pork belly. The chicken was so crispy and flavorful! We tried the arctic char and short ribs as entrees. Both were good but I wouldn't say exceptional or standout. I did thoroughly enjoy the grits that came with the short ribs. We also all split the earl grey tea tiramisu. It sounded interesting and innovative but missed the spot for us! It really did not feel like a tiramisu. I think I would have been more into it if it was called something else! It was tasty but unexpected given the name.“
“We first went there for my fiancee's birthday and we all loved the food and the service. So when we were looking at places to have our wedding reception, this was the first place we thought of. It turned out great! Owners and staff were amazing, so helpful and accommodating! All of our guests loved the food and ambiance. They nailed it! Than you!“
“The burgers were ok,nothing special being I'm a butcher. The service was superb!!It's a nice place for date night with your wife or girlfriend,it's laid back! One thing that bothers me when we go out is everything still over priced!!This inflation is out of control, this dinner should have cost about $45.00 including TIP.They say things are getting better, where I ask??Things were so much better beforeParking: leaving the pub is a bit difficult pulling out onto traffic!“
“Went for lunch today and everything was so delicious! Ordered a Brooklyn panini and Polo’s punch. Shared an order of pesto garlic park boneless wings which are a must have everytime we come. Service at the bar was amazing even for it being 12“
“Like walking into a restaurant on the titanic, beautiful and classy! Fantastic service, fantastic food! My Mule was perfectly made and I ordered another! Highly recommend! One of the best places to go on a date in Morristown! Don’t skimp on your woman!“
“I've heard the term "out of body experience" before but could never truly say I've had one until I sank my teeth into a cheboygah (cheese burger for the layman's) at Village Saloon. Paired with fresh cut fries (fresh cuts for the hip) this cheboygah will change everything you ever thought was possible in culinary art. Their chilli is a meaty dense dark texture that warms the coldest souls from the darkest corners of the earth. My wife ventured into the land of poultry there by ordering a fried chicken special. All she lent me was half a wing in fear that she would run out of chicken too fast. Our server, I never got her name as she was also bartending / changing the lives of men and women who were experiencing the saloon, was nothing short of a messenger of God. Bringing food and drinks promptly and kindly and ensuring we did not faint out of pure bliss during our dining experience. All humans must enter this establishment and order a cheboygah. This is the only way to have the best in the universe. It will ruin all other boygahs for you at every place you ever get one. The fact that it comes with fresh cuts fried to superior excellence elevates your situation beyond your wildest dreams. Life begins anew when you leave here. There is nothing else but days of longing for the next time you get to go to Village Saloon.Kid-friendliness: Highchairs“
“I go once in a while they have a lot of regulars. It's a nice chill spot to have a few drinks and relax. Staff is great! I've never had a problem. Nice vibe even when I'm not drinking (I'm pregnant and still go with my bf so he can relax) but over all definitely recommend you check it “
