“I moved into the area recently and have gone to this location multiple times over the last year two years. Honestly, I’m not sure what it is, not sure who is doing what, but everybody who works behind the counter are some of the friendliest people in food service I’ve ever met! They are genuinely sweet people. Seriously, when you go in there, just strike up a little light conversation. They’re so nice! A pleasure! Every single one I’ve ever encountered behind the counter! Good job!! ☺️“

“Haven't been to this location in a long time so decided to try it. There were about three different parties waiting and no one was at the front. When the gal finally did come she apologized and sat the party in front of us. Then the manager came and said there was only one server that day and the wait would be about 15-20 minutes. The party behind us left since they had small children. We had no problem with the wait and Kat was our waitress, well she was everybody's waitress. LOL. Had to give her props, she did an excellent job. Our question was why didn't the manager help out? Maybe that's not the way they do things there but we felt a little sorry for poor Kat. But she was at her sweetest and most efficient self despite waiting on all the tables so she should be commended for that.“

“The service here is beyond excellent. The employees are very kind and respectful, and work in a very timely manner. When I mixed up my order, and realized that I didnt need pickles, they gladly took them off. I will definitely be returning to this place. “Stopped in 90min before closing, around 5pm. First off, everything on the menu sounded really good and my wife were kind of torn... The owner literally immediately engaged us and was like "tell me what you're feelin?" - this gentleman steered us to sandwich paradise ?

We decided to split a large classic Italian sub with a couple changes and ended up with a 12" sub (but I'd bet someone it was more like 14") with ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone. Added lettuce/tom/oil/vinegar/mayo with salt n pepper and some oregano. The cost was $17.05 ($8.50 all in with tax each if splitting) and this bad boy was plenty for the two of us!

They *only* use Boars Head meats/cheeses and let me tell you, it absolutely SHOWED!! High quality ingredients result in a high quality product and this was no exception! It was the absolute best f***ing sandwich either of us have had in a long time! This guy was a true artisan and master of his craft!

Stop in and get an Italian sub and I promise that not only will you not be disappointed but you'll be amazed and enjoy the best sandwich you've had in recent memory!

We plan on going back again real soon to try the Philly cheese steak, get another Italian sub and try the Mac salad which also looked amazing. Will update this review or post another one when we do!

“This is such a great place. The food is wonderful the atmosphere is great and service is out of this world. I would recommend if your sick or just a soup lover to get their chicken and rice soup. Its thick and hearty with shredded chicken. The fresh mozzarella is like 10 dollars for this small ball but worth it. “It had been a little bit since we've been in (life gets in the way sometimes) but as soon as my husband & I walked in the door we were hit with that heavenly Blimpies scent of fresh ingredients that is indicative of Blimpies & Blimpies alone. It just smells like delicious subs. We realized, after speaking to the wonderful owner, that we've been getting the BEST subs in the world at this location for over 40 years! My pick is a "Blimpies Best" (extra oil & vinegar) honestly it was perfect. My husband gets a turkey & provolone which was terrific (he gave me puppy dog eyes & got a huge chunk of mine too)
Eateries come & go but the best stay, this is worthy of place in your rotation.
I should also say that I live in Nutley with quite a few Italian delis & pizzerias so if I'm saying the Italian sub (Blimpies Best) is terrific that's saying a lot.“

“I would bring a bus group from the Detroit area every year before the pandemic for tours in the New York area.
I would have to order 56 sandwiches with 3 to 4 different choices.
Our bus wouldn't arrive to our hotel until after 8:00 pm
(after your normal business hours)
Upon our arrival, someone would deliver our lunches that evening for the next day.
I have always appreciated the extra mile that they went for our bus group.
The sandwiches were always delicious.

“Everything is good but the owner has to fix the toilet flapped chain. This is the second time in 2 months that I’ve been there and I found the bowl of the toilet dirty because the chain of the toilet’s handle don’t pull nothing. Also, the liquid soap bottle is empty and the paper toilet dispenser is empty.

“Always a great experience at this location, staff are friendly. And I'm in and out quickly. The bathrooms are clean, and there's always good parking. We stop by on our drive from Brooklyn to Pennsylvania and this spot is really conveniently located off of i280. The only friendly suggestion I'd provide for the helpful staff and management is the more junior staff should always ask if someone wants anything else after asking if you want it mikes way (yes I do, and then I want mayo and such). Otherwise, incredible place.

My dad and I ordered the 24-inch Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak, which was chicken with buffalo wing sauce and blue cheese sauce. The buffalo sauce had a kick, although it was not too spicy. The owner was nice enough to offer lettuce, tomato, and onion. We opted out since my dad does not eat any of those. Otherwise, I would have added them. The sandwich was considerably delightful. The bread was warm, fresh, and toasted. The chicken seemed to be grilled white meat; particularly, I believe it was breast meat. In fact they even put a great portion of chicken within the sandwich. The buffalo sauce was not too spicy, just a little kick and pretty tolerable. My dad felt the drink he had with his half-help relieved the spice and felt the drink was needed to help eat the sandwich to avoid any spice. The blue cheese was creamy and really tasty, as previously mentioned. The prepacked dessert(the killer brownie company "flavor kitchen sink")was definitely not the highlight of this place.
