Honestly, I’m not sure what it is, not sure who is doing what, but everybody who works behind the counter are some of the friendliest people in food service I’ve ever met! The seating area is clean and comfortable and spacious. But I already knew all of that… I live around the corner and frequent often. I’m posting today because Noel suggested I try the chipotle cheesesteak, with his recommended preparation. It was phenomenal! “I wanted a quick bite so stopped in. I walked in and there was a small line. When I got to the front the nice lady took my order. I got the veggie patty on whole wheat bread. They made it just like I liked. I had a coupon and it was about $3.50. When I got to the car I ate and it was good. All in all I had a good experience.“

“It's been such a long time. I haven't been to Troops in over 20 years. I was an actually a regular at Troops predecessor back in the 70's which was Frills. The name has flipped a few times from Frills to Troops, back to Frills, then back to Troops as the ownership changed over the years. But I am extremely happy to say that the subs are as good as ever. Exactly as I remember them. Generous portions of meat, cheese and fixings on a sub roll with the perfect texture. Soft, but not too soft. Back in the day the rolls came from the Albodanza bakery. I'm not sure if they still do, or, even if Albodanza bakery still exists. The prices are extremely fair. The place itself is a bit of a dive and that is fine by me. I look forward to my next sandwich.“

“This is such a great place. The food is wonderful the atmosphere is great and service is out of this world. I would recommend if your sick or just a soup lover to get their chicken and rice soup. Its thick and hearty with shredded chicken. The fresh mozzarella is like 10 dollars for this small ball but worth it. They make great spaghetti sauce and have wonderful sandwiches too but I'm cutting back on bread so I can't say I've had them that much“
