43 Best Sandwich Shops near Wyckoff

“I went in asking for a turkey sandwich. Allen said, “You want a turkey sandwich? I’ll give you a turkey sandwich.”

Apparently I said it with an attitude because Allen took it personally.

10/10. I apologize, Allen.“

“From the manager on down EVERYONE is so nice and always so pleasant to deal with. Anytime I decide to get Jersey mikes from this location I can always expect it will be consistent and freshly made. Shoutout to you guys at the Wyckoff jersey mikes!“

“My wife and I are visiting from Tampa, Florida. It was just a short walk to the sandwich shop (1/4 mile) or so. I can't rant and rave about this place enough. My experience was amazing and the food was better. 100% recommend anything meatball 🤤. The cheese steak 😋. I need to eat every sandwich 🥹.
Ate to fast to take a Pic of the food, I'll try next time to snap one but don't count on it.“

“I moved into the area recently and have gone to this location multiple times over the last year two years. Honestly, I’m not sure what it is, not sure who is doing what, but everybody who works behind the counter are some of the friendliest people in food service I’ve ever met! They are genuinely sweet people. Seriously, when you go in there, just strike up a little light conversation. They’re so nice! A pleasure! Every single one I’ve ever encountered behind the counter! Good job!! ☺️“

“A kind young lady by the name of Ruby attended my mother and I at the start of her shift today. She was very helpful, offered great suggestions and was diligent. Thank you sweetheart for the great customer service :) never let anyone dim your sparkle“

“Thank you to our local Fair Lawn Jersey Mike’s! After supporting our Girl Scout troop while selling cookies, they donated lunch to our girls. Smiles all around!“

“Local around the area and will always love this place to my core. I’ve been coming here since I was young and I watched the place change interior looks and saw the upgrade they had; proud of them! My family and I would have this place for Dinner time to time and it would never disappoint. Food is wonderful as always.“

Ordering system with touchscreen super user friendly and easy to pay without human interaction. Sandwiches and burgers made fast and exactly as ordered. Fries were steamy and crispy. “I’ve been coming to Troops since I was a teenager, and no matter how much time passes even after moving to Florida this spot NEVER misses. I still make it a priority every time I’m back. The #7? Still flawless. Same flavor, same quality, straight nostalgia in every bite.
This time I brought my wife and daughter with me, and they get it now. This place is part of my story took me right back to my Clifton Speed Center days… #IYKYK.“

“My favorite Subway location that I've been to. I live right outside of Houston TX and travel for work so I've visited quite a few. This place is the best. The 2 guys that work there are so friendly and helpful. Customer service is above and beyond. You feel like family when you walk in. The food quality and presentation are amazing. The guys are the reason this location stands out. Thank y'all for all y'all do!!!“

“This is the BEST place ever! The sandwiches are super meaty and toasty! I LOVE the meat! When they warm up the meat, it makes the sandwich perfect! A certain hunk, Bob or Rob, helped me out today... and speaking of meat... WOW! 😉“

“Sometimes what you want is a sandwich. But not just any sandwich. A freakin' large sandwich that will keep you from wanting another sandwich. Side order? Shut your lying pie hole. The sandwich has the side order on it already! Sauces? Got 'em. Sweet, tangy, spicy, whatever your tender heart desires. Shakes too. And those side orders? Yeah, you can get those, I was just kidding. And the best part is, they're delicious. Stop reading this and go get one, ya knucklehead.“

“This sandwich shop takes you back to a time when a real Italian Deli could make a hero. For me it's not just the cold cuts, but the bread that make these heros special. Starting with the mild Italian hero with the works. You won't be disappointed.“

“I come here almost everyday and truly enjoy it. The food and smoothies I buy I adore since I have many options. As a person who enjoys food I would encourage others to try the food. The employees brighten the atmosphere and bring more value to the establishment. Every employee who works here is nice, kind and considerate. They all have a wonderful work ethic and try their best to get you food that you can enjoy.“

“What an awesome place. Just went for three sandwiches and was very happy with the service! The employees were great, and their service was excellent. I would recommend it and will definitely be going back!“

“I had the Steak & Cheese sandwich, and it was amazing! The steak was tender and flavorful, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the fresh veggies added a nice crunch. The toasted bread made it even better.

Great service, fresh ingredients, and a satisfying meal. Definitely a 5-star experience—I’ll be back for another one soon!“

“Great sandwiches! Always fresh. Management and staff always friendly. The store is always clean when I go there. They really got it together there. I highly recommend!“

“The Subway on Main Street in Paterson is always a solid choice! The staff is friendly and makes the sandwiches just the way you ask. Everything tastes fresh — from the bread to the veggies — and the place is clean and well maintained. Service is quick, and they’re consistent every time I stop by. Great spot for a quick, fresh meal in Paterson!“

“Food and service are great. The only reason for the 4 instead 5 is just the prices have almost double since COVID. 22 dollars for barely a foot long is crazy. Like I can go to subway and do the 7 dollar foot longs. A sub is a sub. Is there really enough going on to justify a 15 dollar difference?? I can understand like 12 dollars for a sandwich maybe even 14 but 22 and up I can't afford to go here anymore.“

“Went in Oct 2023. Great service and food was delicious. My toddler didn’t finish her meal and I walked over to ask for a to-go container and person theresaw me walking and grabbed to-go container and bag and handed to me before I had to even ask. A first at a fast food place for me.“

“Clean Sandwich made fresh to order Staff was helpful, polite and friendly Delicious sandwich“

“One of the employees at this location made (my) perfect jersey mikes sandwich order and I am about to call the store and ask for his name because I wanna thank him by name but I didn’t wanna wait to leave this review. I come to this location a lot since I work in the area and they are always good, no complaints. This one employee was so nice too, even tho he had a line and very mean people in front of us, gave us a smile… cool. He finished with “the juice” and asked me if that was good and I said “perfect 👍🏼” because I felt it. I took my sandwich and got stuck in traffic… if you’re a sandwich connoisseur you know what that means. Yup, soggy sandwich. TO MY SURPRISE… I got to my destination and the sandwich was intact, perfect. I finished my sandwich a little while ago and I’m still thinking of this interaction because it made my long tired day feel so much better. 💙❤️“

“*Editted my review to 5 stars:
Been here a bunch of times now. Overal the service is 10/10. And I have been going to the point pleasant original place for the last 25+ years, so it's solid at this location. I eat here specifically because the sub service is such good quality the majority of the time. Another comment said he felt discrimination because he was white. Well, it's never a skin thing but a sin thing, and don't ever forget, it was an African man that helped the Lord Jesus carry his cross.“

“we ate here today the employees were very friendly and polite! food was delicious as usual“

“Awesome service. Clean restaurant. Definitely recommend.“

“Great team - friendly abs engaging“

“Brand New Jersey Mikes! Bread was fresh...meats sliced to order and so so good. Clean and quick service. Highly recommend!“

“Haven't been to this location in a long time so decided to try it. There were about three different parties waiting and no one was at the front. When the gal finally did come she apologized and sat the party in front of us. Then the manager came and said there was only one server that day and the wait would be about 15-20 minutes. The party behind us left since they had small children. We had no problem with the wait and Kat was our waitress, well she was everybody's waitress. LOL. Had to give her props, she did an excellent job. Our question was why didn't the manager help out? Maybe that's not the way they do things there but we felt a little sorry for poor Kat. But she was at her sweetest and most efficient self despite waiting on all the tables so she should be commended for that.“

“Great Store ...Great customer service. Try delicious frozen yogurt.“

“Blimpie is like biting into the 90s—a time capsule of deli perfection. It’s not some soulless chain; it feels local, like the sandwich shop from your childhood where they knew how to make it with love. The subs are fresh, the prices are refreshingly old-school, and the vibe? Pure nostalgia. Stepping inside, you half-expect to hear a payphone ring. Visit this gem while it’s still around—because places like this don’t stick around forever. Sandwiches are PERFEFTION“

“Unlike some others we had excellent service. When ordering a salad, it was carefully chopped for easy eating. At other locations they sometimes just throw whole slices of meat on the salad which is much more difficult to cut with the chintzy plastic knives they provide.

Beyond the sub options there ard pizza, auyie annes pretzels, and slushy drinks.“

“Ordered online, overall pleasant experience. They did not skimp on the toppings! Not too much chicken and steak, but the Italian was perfect.

1. Italian BMT
2. Honey Mustard BBQ Chicken
3. Cheesy Garlic Steak“

“pleasant staff and very tasteful sandwiches, looking forward to going again“
